تحكي القصة عن طفل يتحدث عن مدينته التي تحتضن أصدقاءه وعائلته ومدرسته، ولكن في هذه المدينة هناك حرب أيضاً. يصف الطفل أصوات الرصاص والصواريخ، يتحدث عن إغلاق المدارس واختباء الناس في الحرب، ويتحدث عن تجربة وعواطف آلاف الأطفال في جميع أنحاء العالم.

A little boy talks about his city, where his friends, family, and school are. However, there is also a war. The boy describes the city; sounds of bullets and missals, schools are closed, everyone stores food and hide. The experience and emotions of thousands of children all over the world could be seen through the story, while it also reflects optimism and everyone’s eagerness to a happy and secure life.

كتاب يصح لكل ممن عاش و /او يعيش حالة حرب ان يقراه > مريح لازالة بعض الالام و الجروح الدفينه الغير مرييه حتا للشخص نفسه. احببت قراته لنفسي و لابنتي.

فاطمة شرف الدين اسم يجب ان يعطى حقه الادبي في وطننا اكثر بكثير من ما هو عليه حاليا
كنت قد قرأت هذه القصة مع اطفال عانوا من ويلات الحرب ولمست تأثيرها الرائع عليهم ...وكيف لا وفاطمة عانت من ويلات الحرب تعرفها وتعرف عذاباتها لذلك وصفتها بطريقة تعطي من الاولاد الامل انه يوما ما سوف تنتهي الحرب وتعود الحياة لمجراها
