Every time you pick up a novel by T.L. Smith you know one thing is for sure....You are always guaranteed twisted.
And that is exactly what she delivered.
We are reunited with the dark and dangerous Connick, the delusion Derrick, and the fragile and broken Malinka.
A love triangle of sorts, both Connick and Derrick will fight to have the one woman that they are both obsessed with. The one woman that has completely captivated them. The one woman that they are willing to do anything for.
But Malinka is broken, damaged. The scars from her past haunt her each and every single day. Can she ever have a normal life, or will she be destined to be surrounded by the evil that lurks?
We are also introduced to someone new. Someone who isn't afraid to speak the truth. Someone who isn't afraid to make their presence felt. Someone who isn't afraid to take a life.
What an absolute brilliant read. A love story, yes that's right a love story but in a twisted, dark and dangerous kind of way that I couldn't put down.
T.L just completely blows my mind every time I sit down to read her. Savage Reckoning was dark, sinful, edgy, confronting, heartbreaking, breathtaking and deadly. It had everything that I could've asked for. Sheer brilliance.
An absolute perfect way to end the Savage Love Duet.

When you can't put a book down due to complete awe....
That's exactly how I was after Savage Collision I wanted more and now thankfully we have the conclusion in Savage Reckoning.
The plot picks up exactly were it left off.
Complex Character's with many layers, a plot with many layers and with each page turned more is pealed away, more revealed, more is unfolded in TL Smith's unique style.
A gripping and mind boggling plot with twists and turns.
This isn't a hearts and flowers kind of read, it's raw and gritty but slowly you see characters such as Connick begin to thaw and you see the real Connick, I actually swooned once and that wasn’t something I was expecting from the character I first met in book one.
Derrick is still relentless and obsessed,Nicole is still unstable and filled with Jelousy, Milanka you begin to see changes leading to a life she deserves and Connick begins to be the man she needs him to be.
It's a rough rollercoaster ride to any hea though so hold on tight.
Contains violence and lots of hot passionate sex told in dual pov's.
Secondy characters, Harlin, I loved Harlin, she's a contract killer, a nutter, a ballbuster and hard as nails, she too is a character with hidden layers. I'm hoping for her book too.

What an emotional charged book....
T.L Smith has perfected the art of ripping your heart out with her psychologically thrilling stories.
Just when you think Connick and Milanka will FINALLY make their way to one another, terror rears it's ugly head once again and turns their worlds upside down.
Words can't express the emotional state I was in throughout the ENTIRE book. This story teaches us that we all have darkness inside of us, and we will the luckiest people if we find that ONE to accept it and helps us to ebrace it together.
I absolutely LOVED the secondary characters and hope this isn't the last we have seen of them all.

When you pick up a TL Smith book you never know what to expect, you know it's going to be good, but you just don't know what her beautiful mind is going to give you.
Savage Reckoning was not what I expected. I never expected TL Smith to come up with this kind of love story, and I loved it! I rushed to the end and then I just wanted more!
Connick and Milanka's story grabs you from the very first paragraph. I was hooked from the first sentence in book one right up to the last sentence of book 2.
The Savage Love series is brilliant. Connick and Milanka made me laugh, they made me cry, they made me believe in love again, even though both of them believed they don't know what love is.
Another 5 star read by a brilliant author.

I am such an emotional wreck after reading this book. I was taken apart and put back together.
It was an amazing journey and I love Connick more than ever. TL Smith wrote the heck out of this series.

You know that feeling you get when you know something is headed your way that will blow your mind, render you speechless and change the way you feel about reading forever. The feeling of a pleasure so intense, it is breathtaking. The feeling so overpowering, you find yourself thinking about the book you just read, with a sense of fulfilment and contentment unlike any other. Well, that is how I felt after reading Savage Reckoning. I wanted to hang onto this feeling forever. I thought the book would be out of this world, but it was so much more than that. I cannot explian what it was, but only that it is so much much more than I could have dreamed.
Savage Reckoning is the stunning conclusion to Savage Collision. Milanka and Connick have rocked my world once more, and it hurts to say goodbye. I loved their story in all its entirety. The happy parts, the tragic parts, the frustrating parts, and, of course, the sexy parts. They endured so much, especially Milanka. I do not know of another character with her strength and fight to not become a statistic, and to rise from the pit of despair to reign supreme at the top, with the love that she was never antipating or wanting. Her love for Connick. So much happened in their lives. So much that it would have utterly destroyed most people. But as I said, there is noone quite like Milanka, and add in Connick, you get a power couple with a difference. So many lies were told, so many underhanded events took place to lead them to where they got to, and you think, surely this is the end for them. Their love is not that strong to endure that. WRONG. They not only survived together, they stayed together. Even though the odds were against, they fought to be together and won.
If I feel more happiness and bliss when reading a book like Savage Reckoning, I may faint! I just don't know how I can achieve the same experience again. T. L. Smith has wrecked me for all other authors of this genre.
This is one grateful girl, signing off and trying to find something to read of this quality that T. L. Simth just gave me. Book hangover be damned. When is the next T. L. Smith book due out? Going to prepare myself now. Who am I kidding, nothing prepares you for this kind of quality reading. You just have to jump in, head first, knowing that you will get an experience like no other. Sheer and totally brutal beauty.

Savage Reckoning is not a stand alone. Please read book one, Savage Collision, first.
I was hoping that Connick and Milanka now would get their HEA. But no, that would be too easy.
This book is full of unexpected twists and turns. And I loved every single one.
I read this book in one sitting, I couldn´t put it down.
I recommend this book and the duet and I give 5 stars, thank you TL Smith !

I think I am on a bloody roll with how fast I have read this series. Fuck me sideways this series was the bomb. I loved this dark, twisted, confusing, hot and sexy book wholeheartedly. Let me just tell you this book is a complete mindfuck and be ready to be blown away.
You should know that this is the second book in the duet so you need to read the first one before starting. When I started this series I didn't know what to expect and this author has outdone herself and has delivered a kickass book that has instantly become my favourite. I really love all the secondary characters in this book. Cherry, Harlin, Serena and Von. I am praying in my mind that Harlin gets a book, besides Falling in love with Mil and connick , I couldn't help but love Harlin, she is everything some girls wish they could be .
This book is so dark and twisted. With the first book you were left with questions and in this book your questions will be answered. This was a roller coaster from the beginning and the ride and journey didn't stop until the very end. This book was full of jam packed drama, secrets and lies. All will be exposed. Get ready for the emotional ride that this author brings you on. I love that we got to see more inside the characters and I loved the journey and the story that we were taken on.
I loved this series so much and I hope this author might have some books lined up for some potential secondary characters. "Wink Wink".
Also if you haven't picked up this series yet, I don't know what you are waiting on. Get the ball rolling people.

Malinka, after battling with her demons and losing the war, has come to terms with who she is and what she needs to feel complete but Connick is a few paces behind...can he catch up? Savage Reckoning completes this duet of mind fuckery as all the pieces slot together revealing just how twisted their loge story really is. Obsession turns deadly as both men, linked by blood, want the same thing...
The concluding part to their dark love story is filled with loss, angst and pain but balanced with love, joy and the scales being balanced. I loved Serena, Cherry and Harlin and hope we see more of them and the men from the mud slide, I feel they all have stories to tell. Connick is a hard man to read but an easy man to love as he's just so damn fine, considerate in a measured yet consuming way. He's got a tough exterior yet he shows her how much she means to him in the little things. Malinka is fierce, after everything she has experienced she is still willing to try and that is the enigma of being human. Another gripping story of love that has been fought for on the battlefield of greed, obsession and despair yet somehow emerges stronger for it.
A four and a half star read.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Hype PR)...

Omg I needed this book badly after reading Savage Collision! In this book we get to see inside the head of Connick and Milanka as well as the past between Derrick and Connick. Just like with the last book I can't go into too many details without ruining the experience. I did love that we were shown how and why Connick was involved with Derrick and Milanka did grow from all the tragedy she experienced. I didn't want it to end, I neede more of them but I did love the ending so I can't be too greedy ;)
Ok I'm going to say it we need a book on Harlin she reminded me so much of Aria (Twisted Perception).

I literally couldn't put this book down!
TL Smith has done it again with this twisted conclusion to an amazing story.
Malinka confesses her love for Connick however he totally spoils things between them..again! Derrick is still hovering with his psycho personality and we get to know Harlin, a very complex but loveable character.
I am in awe of this author's amazing ability to create such diverse storylines, all intriguing and extremely entertaining. Her descriptions of characters, settings and mood are very detailed and makes it so easy to visualise as the story unfolds!
This is one author I will always one click and I recommend her to everyone!

The perfect complimentary partner to book one in the series, Savage Reckoning will have you flipping madly through the pages to discover all the secrets from book one, Savage Collision.
With book one leaving us on a cliffy, T.L, the true master mind she is, picked up right where we left off. Tensions, drama, deception and secrets will pave the way for brilliant read.
Conick and Malinka are still tormented by eachothers untruths. Derrick still as delusional as he was in the first installment, mixed in with family dramas and an overbearing father how will Conick make the right decision for not only himself but Malinka.
I devoured this so easily. The fun and spunk that Harlin brings out in Malinka left a fresh feeling in my mind. With so much serious the light was needed. In saying that, in no way was this a light read. You will still be left with T.L.'s unique twists and turns.
Fingers crossed we get a Harlin book....I cant help but feel her and Aria would make a killer team!

After the cliffhanger ending of the first book, this second installment was highly anticipated.
Savage Reckoning picks right up where Savage Collision (SC) left us hanging, demanding more. But it also goes further, or should I say it also goes back? The story around Connick and Milanka unfolds itself while playing in the past as well as the present. We learn much more about Connick and his motives and with that it's easier to see his development and change throughout this book.
Savage Reckoning is not as complex as SC but its still thrilling and captivating. My eyes have been glued to the pages soaking in all the new information with my mind trying to sort out all secrets and entanglements.
This book is a perfect conclusion to this Duet and I'm glad I got the chance to read those books.

The epic conclusion of this highly addictive and gripping story has finally come to an end. T. L. Smith never seizes amaze me with her flawless writing and riveting storylines. Savage Reckoning encompasses everything that I love from this author's dark romances. As much as I loved the first book, I was completely blown away by this book. I couldn't help in being captivated by this psychological and suspenseful romance that had hooked from beginning to end. One of the things that I loved about this series was that it was unlike any other romances that I have read before. The heroine and hero aren't your typical leads. Milanka and Connick are both damaged individuals and struggling with their own personal demons and pasts. Unlike in the first book, the second book features both Milanka and Connick's POVs. Honestly, I was very excited to finally hear Connick's POV because he had been such a mysterious and elusive character in the previous book. With his POV, I was able to gain a better understanding of his behaviors and choices. I also enjoyed the switch between the past and present with Connick's character because it showed an insight into his past and thoughts that weren't present in the first book.
Not to mention, some of the unanswered questions and unexpected moments were revealed. In addition, I loved seeing Milanka's growth and journey in this book. Her character was much more confident and strong in regards to her relationship with Connick and finding a purpose in her life. I also appreciated the fact that she didn't make things it easy for Connick in regards to their relationship and his feelings for her. I think this was the push that Connick needed in order finally face his insecurities and express his feelings. At times, I was so engrossed into this story that there were moments when I was literally on the edge of my seat. There so many twists and turns in this story that I never knew what would happen next.
The Savage Love Duet is compelling romance that will pull you in and let go until the very last page. I cannot recommend this series enough! Savage Reckoning is a tantalizing and spellbinding romance that shouldn't be missed.

Wow! What an ending to this dark and suspenseful duet.
First let me say that I absolutely love Connick. I loved reading chapters from his pov. You get to know Connick so much better as a character and he definitely comes a long way from the man he was in Savage Collision. I think this story may have been a little slower than the first and not as suspenseful because Derrick isn't really around as much as he was in the first book. His stalker tendencies almost disappear. But when he comes back, its with a vengeance and his level of crazy hits an all-time high.
This book is more about Milanka and Connick figuring out what they want from each other. Can they find true happiness and love in their messed up worlds? Milanka wants more and is afraid Connick can't give her more than sex. He can't admit that what he feels for Milanka may be love and he struggles with this. I loved that these two work out their inner demons. I'm not gonna lie, Milanka drove me crazy through 70 percent of this book, but when she finally grows up and gets a nice pep talk from Harlin of all people, I'm glad she decides not to run away like she normally does. Milanka goes through some heartbreaking things in this book and it never tears her down. I can admire that about her character. But Connick is the champion of this book. He knows he wants Milanka and honestly, he can't live without her. So time away from her gives him the time he needs to figure out what he's willing to give her. I loved his inner struggle, but she never stopped caring and worried about Milanka. He still carried a dark sexiness and a don't mess with me attitude. By the end of this book I was gushing with happiness.
I thought I wasn't going to end up liking this book because of Milanka. But the end of this book is so amazing. There are so many unexpected turn of events that will make your mouth drop. But its also beautiful in its own dark and twisted way. I just loved this book.
First let me say that I absolutely love Connick. I loved reading chapters from his pov. You get to know Connick so much better as a character and he definitely comes a long way from the man he was in Savage Collision. I think this story may have been a little slower than the first and not as suspenseful because Derrick isn't really around as much as he was in the first book. His stalker tendencies almost disappear. But when he comes back, its with a vengeance and his level of crazy hits an all-time high.

This book picks up from where Savage Collision ends and it's full of intense, emotionally charged scenes. I love the characters in this book, even the ones I hate. The complexity of not just Malinda but Derrick and Connick aswell makes this book addictive. I needed to delve into their heads to get my answers and I loved every single minute of it.
Milanka has been through so much already and she's finally determined to put herself first. With the connection between Derrick and Connick now known to her, she's more determined than ever to get all of the answers. I really liked Milanka. She's been dealt a crap hand in life and all she wants is to be happy and for Derrick to leave her alone.
Connick confuses me. I feel like I shouldn't like him as much as I do. He keeps his cards close to his chest. He's the master of mind games and manipulation as we saw in Savage Collision but he's not all bad. With obsessed and slightly scary Derrick still adamant that Milanka belongs to him, it's time for Connick to finally decide what he wants and how far he's prepared to go to get it.
This book is written in a way that will consume you, I doubt you'll want to put it down once you start. It's full of twists and turns, confusion, loss, pain and a different kind of love. With intense characters, obsession, addictions, plenty of action and a little bit of darkness, this book has the balance just right.

Wow
I just finished Savage Reckoning and I'm lost.
This series was such a fabulous read. I waited for this book and it did not disappoint me I hung on every word and did not want it to end. Like all of T.L. Smith's books before it, Reckoning has something so beautifully Dark and heartfelt to it. It will touch you in your soul.
Her books touch you, they suck you in till you realise you are holding your breath waiting on the next page. These characters Connick and Milanka are no different they are each a little damaged one more than the other. The detail that goes into the pasts of these 2 damaged souls is what keeps you connected to the plight of their story.
When the lines start to blur, is it possible to move forward!
There are some things that you can never recover from, lies, distraction and Death. This is what surrounds these two, should the past remain exactly that, should you fight for a better life when all you've been dealt was a life no one would pick themselves. Can one person truly understand what it is to put another person first, can you truly trust someone who has wronged you in the past or will history keep repeating itself.
I cannot recommend this book enough, read the series you will understand the meaning of connecting with the characters. Another fantastic read by T.L. Smith.

This book was amazing. Connick and Milanka's relationship is unique and unconventional but that is what makes their love story so beautiful. Neither one believes that they want love or a relationship. But they have both gotten under each other's skin and now they can barely get through a day without the other one there.
Milanka gets upset because Connick keeps things from her but in the end she realizes that he was doing that because he didn't want to cause her any more pain. One of my favorite parts is when Connick realizes that he loves Milanka. It takes him by surprise and he has no idea when it happened.
By the end of the book, you could really see how far their relationship had come since the beginning. When Milanka found out that Connick was keeping something else from her, she didn't get upset like she did in the beginning. Before she would have ran away and locked herself in her house. But now she took the time to hear him out and understand why he did what he did.

Savage Reckoning is a brilliant read! It starts exactly where Savage Collision ended with an unpredicted situation. It’s really easy to be captivated by the story from the first lines with all the action. I like the introduction of Connick’s point of view in this second book. It helped understand him better. In book one he was a complete mystery and his intentions toward Milanka were hard to trust fully. The connection between them is more palpable than ever, because it’s more than just physical. You’re able to see the feelings they have for each other by the way they act. Even if they don’t quite understand these feelings themselves. The presence of the supporting character is also well done. I really liked Harlin, she’s one intriguing woman that I’d like to learn more about. Savage Reckoning is the perfect conclusion for this duet. You get the suspense, the lust, the love and everything in between with a complex couple. T.L. Smith did very good with this duet!

After reading Savage Collision, T.L. Smith left me with unbearable angst. I literally couldn't sleep with so many thoughts and possibilities running through my mind with wonder in what Savage Reckoning would bring and let me tell you. She did NOT disappoint. This was the perfect conclusion to The Savage Love Duet and I'll be dealing with one heck of a book hangover for quite awhile. **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**
I went through so many emotions during Milanka and Connick's story. The plot twists and what they went through, Milanka's mother, her psycho ex and Connick's brother, Derrick, the rest of their family and friends. I loved getting to know all of the characters, each intriguing in their own ways. I wish this story went on and on and on but it had to end. And that leaves me disappointed and wanting more.
Raw! Dark! Gritty! Suspenseful! Heart breaking & Heartfelt! Sexy! And funny in parts! Especially Harlin!! Lol I really hope Harlin gets her own book because I love that chick! Bada** women in books are my absolute favorite and T.L. Smith is an expert when it comes to them.

I really enjoyed this book better than the previous one. I'm not sure if it was that I was more invested in the characters and wanted to know how everything turned out or if this story was less choppy.
Milanka and Connick are obviously in love with each other but are having a hard time admitting it because both of them have such rocky pasts. They have a hard time leaning on other people and admitting they need anyone else in their lives. They have to learn to not only trust each other but trust themselves as well and hope for a better future. Will their past ever stop catching up to them to allow them to find true peace with one another or is that just a dream?
I really liked Milanka and Connick's story and found myself feeling really sorry for both of them the way they grew up but happy that they had found each other. I'm not sure how this will ever work for them long term as they both have a lot they need to work through.
I give this book 5 stars because the characters are very interesting and you get sucked into their story.

Cracking read
What a follow up. I really enjoyed this, however it left a massive amount of loose ends Nicole, his father etc.
Really good characters but I think it's best told from her point of view and perspective.
She was so beaten and abused but so strong and a survivor.
There are so many things I wanted to be investigated, her relationship with her father, it needs another book.
The female lead was a beautifully written character and I rooted for her. The romance was a side story, it was how she coped. The blackouts needed to be explored further as did the Dr and her betrayal.
It was so sad but also uplifting.
I thought going to dinner knowing what she had done was a little slippy, it needed to be told from her point of view. How can you sit in a room with his family knowing what you know.
I thought perhaps ringing the police and him getting sent down for attempted murder would have been the better way to handle him. He got off lightly. That would have helped with the Nicole situation.

Well, I don't think I liked this one as much as the first. So much back and forth with Connick. Him still figuring out how to pull his head out of his ass, but still being super protective of Milanka. And Derrick continuing to be a psycho. But once Derrick was out of the picture, I didn't get (a) and (b). They just kinda felt like hanging threads in the story. But it ended in a good place, and Milanka learned a lot about herself and grew strength from her experiences, which was nice to see. It ended in a very nice place for Connick and Milanka.
The author could use a better editor, both copy and otherwise. Weird punctuation and weird phrasing kinda pulled me from the story a lot (in both of them). It was definitely an intriguing story, I just feel like it could have been polished a bit.

Savage Reckoning gave us the PERFECT ending to this duet!!!
This series was such a FANTABULOUS duet! I couldn't wait for Savage Reckoning after I finished Savage Collision! And I soooo wasn't disappointed!!!
I hung on every word that TL threw at us. The love story of Connick and Milanka isn't for the faint of heart, and definitely won't come easy. Just like all of Mrs, Smith's books Savage Reckoning has a beautifully written dark side, but is so very heartfelt.
I was sucked in from start to finish. I honestly couldn't get through it fast enough, yet wanted to savor

What an intense, twisted and suspense filled journey to love. Milanka hasn’t known love and feels she doesn’t deserve it or even knows how to give it. When Connick consumes her world, she finds herself feeling these emotions for the first time but he is just as afraid of them and runs from these feelings which pushes her away. There is so much complexity to this couple. The drama of an obsessed brother, Derrick, that won’t give up his desire for Milanka. At the same time, Milanka finally finds friends and is able to build a different life for herself. The challenge is, will Connick open his heart to her as she has to him. Beautifully crafted as always by the amazing T.L. Smith. I was blown away by the intensity of this romance with all its crazy twists and turns. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

This was a great conclusion to this great duet. As in typical TL Smith style it completely messes with your mind. Although the story was a little how I expected it to be but with a few twist thrown in. This book was a little heartbreaking with the situation Malinka finds herself in and it just doesn't bare thinking about.
Connick is just everything you need him to be in this book and he is everything to Malinka too. The other characters in this book make it for me. They pull this book along nicely and make the story just flow. The story ends a little abruptly for my liking but it doesn't detract from the story at all. Everyone gets what they deserve in the end.
This duet is a great recommend from me and as usually with her writing. TL Smith doesn't leave you disappointed.

Holy crap what an ending!! This duet had me on my toes the whole entire time. T.L. Smith does such a great job with the dark and twisted books that I shouldn't be surprised by how great this duet was. There were so many times that I thought I just knew how it was going to play out but I was shocked just as many times because you can't predict where T.L. is going to take her books.
If you haven't read this series before then you have to read the first in order to enjoy or know what is going on in this book. This series will have you on the edge of your seat, it will break your heart, it will have your emotions going wild and you will fall in love with this series.
I can't wait to read the next twisted masterpiece that T.L. Smith creates next. I really, really hope that Harlin is going to get a book because I can just an awesome story with her.
