Glancing to the left, Jeff was surprised to see the small, white church sitting a hundred feet off Highway 85 in the middle of a field of bright, yellow daffodils. He had never seen so many daffodils in his life. There was nothing around except for the small church in the daffodil-laden field, a parking lot to the rear. He wasn’t sure if he had ever seen a whiter church, it seemed almost to glow in a reflective yellow. The illuminated message sign by the highway is what really captured his attention.
The ending was beyond cleverly written! Very interesting concept regarding the Rapture.
THE END, the series, JL Robbs ingenuity and imaginativeness was unparalleled! What genius, the description of Hell!!! THE END Series are the most well written books I have ever read! JL Robbs series was not only drawing me in hook, line and sinker, but all the while I'm receiving an education: N.E.O., Mossad, Ross Ice Shelf, etc.
JL Robbs ability to describe and express the characters' experiences, emotions, their thoughts, the machinations of their mind, those internal thoughts to the deep degree that the author did, WOW! SO REAL! Obviously the research that the author did was incredible. I learned much academia on various subjects by reading THE END.
There were two thoughts that always came to mind while reading the series, 1) Brilliant writing 2) Absolutely A Gift From God!
I loved how in the last chapter Jeffrey is under a table with...'Abe The Bartender'! As the reader, you miss all the characters that were once so real to Jeff Ross, and joined him or so it appeared to their journey to THE END!
THE END, going on an incredible and unforgettable literary journey that seems so real, with a message, Today is the DAY for SALVATION
Wow things are really heating up fast! And there were exciting this happening throughout this book. I think it was one of my favorite end time books I’ve ever read! You have to read this “The End” book series! I’ve read the first and second books. I believe there are 5 or 6 in the series, but if book 2 is any indication of what the rest of the series will be, I can’t wait! The characters feel real and all of the volcanos, earthquakes and health epidemics seem so real. You never what’s going to happen or who’s going to live or die. Fast paced, a must read.
A different take on End Times activity. Interesting characters. Makes you think of the actual possibility of sleeper cells and individuals. Scary to think about it and do I know someone who is that evil? A bit puzzled by the first rapture in the first book. I believe in one Rapture. Oh glorious day! Just bought book #3. So here I go again on another book adventure. Thanks Jesus for making available so many what ifs. Will make me appreciate the real thing. Elevator up!!
This is #2 in the End Time series. Dated because it was written several years ago. But not dated in so so many ways. There are several books in this series. I will read them all. That says a lot. Interesting plot filled with actual information that provides wisdom for the end times we're current living in. I highly recommend this series. I look forward to starting book 3 tomorrow.
All Christian believers should read this series...they sure are an eye opener for these End-times...as we watch & pray!! The series are sure page turners...had to put down!!
Just finished the 2nd , can't wait to start the 3rd!!! I really like the author's addition of scriptures prior to each chapter. It gives you a visual of what is going to be in the end times.
Again I felt like I was a character in this book. I cried over Melissa and Samara. I was depressed with Jeff. It's an amazing exciting read. I definitely recommend this book!
I enjoy the story and would give it five stars except he jumps from one character or time to another without any explanation. It’s hard to keep up with what is current in the story.
Great writing! Once I start I can't put it down!!! I can't wait to see what happens in book three. If you like a fast paced thriller, I highly recommend this series!
While still an interesting read, I didn't enjoy this book as much as Part 1. This book felt really repetitive to the point where I actually thought I must have lost my place a few times as I felt like I was re-reading entire sections. That said, I still enjoyed the characters and plot of the story. It just didn't flow that well.
