In a way it feels wrong to judge a book which is, as the author explains, more testimonial and personal divulgence than expertly drafted scholarly argument – in a second language, no less. Still, it left a lot to be desired both in terms of prose and content.

This is very interesting book to read. It starts with 1st transistor and cover everything up to development of MOS transistors.

This is a great book for anyone who is interested in the history of Silicon Valley and development of semiconductors.
