Love, Life & Dreams, as title says is cocktail of 5 short women fiction, about 5 women and their life.

What I liked– All stories were narrated in simple and straight way with big moral. I loved storyline, tone of the stories, and characters who were learning something at the end of the story. The sisters bonding in 2 stories was touching and heartwarming. I l

I picked up this book after reading her another book, The Bulletproof Proposal and quite enjoyed it.
With summer just around the corner, I was tempted by the beautiful cover and was in the mood for a quick, light read.

It WAS indeed a quick, light read. You can fly through this book with less than an hour because it's got only 57 pages. However, I'm afraid to say squeezing 5 stories into such a small pagecount could have had an adverse effect this time.

The theme of each story is dive

This is a book of only 57 pages and contains 5 very short stories, mainly with, 'the morale of the story' kind of warning. For me the stories were more of a coffee time break quick read rather than take on holiday for the side of the pool.
Each of these stories have very strong female characters in them with some directed at punishing the male characters for past deeds against family and friends. This includes using blackmail tactics.  It did exaggerate some of the types of behaviour of certain m

I am a big fan of short stories!
These five stories are all easy to read and fast paced, in fact I finished them all within an hour and enjoyed each and every one of them. My favourite had to be the first story called Doctors Orders the perfect chick-lit short story. All these stories end on some form of a cliff hanger to let the reader decide the ending of the story for themselves. These are all perfect short stories, especially for those readers who are too busy to read long stories and like to

I do not read a lot of short stories, simply because I love diving into novels and being swept away from reality for awhile! However, I enjoyed this collection of stories a great deal. Typically when I read short stories, I find myself somewhat frustrated because of the desire to know more. What happens next? Will things work out? After thinking about it, I realize the talent and quality of writing in this collection of stories are what grew my desire to know more. Regardless of the length of th ...more

Quick reads -- 3.5 stars

This is an odd collection of quick reads. Some with cliffhangers or space for you to make up your own ending. The stories do not have the sane characters, though a few have the same name. They stories also do not share a similar theme. Though you can easily read 1-2 during your lunch break. And now a brief about the stories...

First we have a recovering patient, second we have a cheating husband, third up is an imaginative could, fourth is a womanizing DJ, and fifth is a s

Well written very short stories that a nice for a break. They can be read very quick and are only very few pages each. The storylines are nice and the plots are great. Characters well described and likeable most of them. Very strong females that knows what they want and how to get it.
Absolutely recommendable for short break reads.

I received this book from the author and am voluntarily reviewing it. These stories were fun, little reads. Some are better than others. I liked "Live the Dream" best of all and its bittersweet twist. One of them is a bit creepy, but most of them are chick lit fun. Short stories are great for when you don't have a lot of time, but still want to read. These are really short and easy to read. They keep your interest as well. ...more
