Exciting thriller

An absolute edge on the seat thriller.
The plot is complex and the author has done a brilliant job of getting inside the mind of the killer in pushing the story ahead. With enough explicit scenes the story is full of grit and shows the dark side of human nature. But then there is also humour to push past the horrific scenes.
Enjoyed it.

I saw David Six’s tweet about his book, and I was in the mood for a suspense novel – right time, right place, you could say. So I surfed over to Amazon and downloaded his book: The Time it Takes to Blink.

Although I still can’t figure out from where the name is derived; nonetheless, I really enjoyed the book. His characters are engaging, relatable, and memorable. The main character, Frank Bruno, portrayed as a might-as-well-be homeless guy, living in an abandoned gas station and passes the day so

David Six has written a novel, In the Time it Takes to Blink, which will delight readers who focus on the clever use of language to tell an engrossing tale. No pun intended with the use of a word that contains “gross.” There are elements that could be considered gross and NSFW. This abbreviation (not safe for work) is not because of explicit sexual comment, although there is some of that. I use this abbreviation because of the graphic violence, some of which may involve sex. Someone at work peer ...more

A brilliant, engrossing horror novel! ‘Blink’ is a tangled dark suspenseful story about a sinister killer leaving grisly displayed women. As a result, a retired detective, Bruno, is forced back on the case by his once partner, Salvanian, who desperately needs his input. Without giving any spoilers, ‘Blink’ takes the reader a deranged journey of madness that ends up in a fast-paced, twisted ending.
Having been stated, Six’s incredible writing draws the reader into his macabre world from page one.

Wow! What a book! What a story! I can't even fathom how someone could come up with some of the horrific contents in this off the charts work of suspense! Talk about a page turner! There were some very gruesome scenes that were so well described it was difficult to read without feeling a little queasy! The book was well written in its entirety and perfectly edited! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a very realistic book of suspense and horror as the title promises! It

This book is sick. It could have been so much better. Who wants reread about a mother and son ?? And the eye brow description was so overdone. Bad book.

Who wants to read about a mother and son. The eye brow description was silly, over done. Bad book don't bother.

Everyone is afraid of something.

Maybe it's that flash of movement you are sure you saw from the corner of your eye just a second ago, but when you turned, nothing was there. Maybe it's the new noise in your house that you tell yourself is just the joists settling. Maybe it's your neighbor who seems friendly and convivial, but there is something just a bit off about them.
