What's wrong with the street?  This simple question has far-reaching implications.  To me, the street represents the path of the disenfranchised.  Some of these people sleep on the street.  The street can be a site of violence and discrimination.  It can also be a place to reminisce and think of simpler times.  The author's frustration and anger over the predicaments he encounters every day is crystal clear.  Andy is the voice of the street and its discontent.

Another very good collection by Andru Curingtin! (I think I pronounced his name right there).

One thing I've noticed this time around is how balanced his poems are, for example in "Victims" he comments on the victims being killed by bombs and 4x4s, he blames ISIS but also comments on how the EDL need to sod-off too, just leave the innocent out of this madness.

Again in this collections he has included links to news reports so that you can read up on what that particular poem was about. He also has

Andy Carrington returns to the fervent anger of his previous poetry collection, Apathy Will Kill Us All, for this newest publication. For me, the poems felt like segments of an epic work rather than individual pieces because of their overlapping subject matter and recurring themes. The sheer energy Carrington maintains throughout the book is exhausting! He vividly illustrates his experience of life in modern Britain, specifically Bradford, th

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the advance copy of this book, I read the book in about 2 days it's another page turner, Once again Andy produces a mind blowing read! It's every day life captured in a series of poems that demonstrate a whole host of feelings , My favourites are Sly Stallone & bread, More money than fucking sense, and Visitors guide to BRATFUD, they had me smiling and nodding in agreement, It's a great read!
