This book surprised me in the best way. I read the first book of this series (StarPassage: The Relic) last year (you can read my review of which by clicking here), and while I did really enjoy the story, I don't remember the book as a whole as being especially outstanding. Consequently, while I was interested in the fates of Tim, Martie and the rest of the characters, I was slightly dubious of the execution of this novel.

I felt that every single aspect of th

Although I am clearly not in the target audience for Middle Grade literature, I do enjoy it!  I was excited when approached with the opportunity to read the StarPassage saga.

Clark Burbidge studied and practiced business, but he has enjoyed a sense of adventure in his life near the Rockies, which might have influenced his writing.  StarPassage:  Book Two, Heroes and Martyrs is a great tale of overcoming trials, epic ventures, and lessons in life and

Heroes and Martyrs Continues to Blend Science Fiction, Fantasy, Historical Fiction--and Faith into the Mix. I think I liked the blend of genre present in this book even more than the first. This book takes readers on many adventures that touch on many subjects from history, fantasy, and modern day realism. StarPassage is a great series to read as a family, as it offers many topics to discuss and consider--all while entertaining those middle school aged kiddos.

I recieved this book in exchange for an honest review. So here it is.
I know that I'm actually not the target audience of the book, but I enjoyed the second one more than the first book. I think this story is for younger readers, but I liked the message
We meet new characters - Bobby and Mike. They have tough times and needed help, so Tim and Martie decided to share their experience with the Star and help two brothers. New exciting StarPassages, new adventures and old enemies.

Just like the first book, I enjoyed this book. It was nice to see Tim and Martie again. They were first introduced in book one. This time they are taking what they learned about the star and applying it to help Bobby and his older brother, Mike.

As was the situation with the first book, the star had a lot to share with Bobby and Mike. Again, each place that the group traveled, they met different people who were valuable to the brothers and the healing process. Yet, the traveling is not without s
I have a guest reviewer for this gem of a book. My 13yr old son Kenneth. He was so excited to get the second book in this series. He loved book 1 The Relic.
I really liked this book , the book talks about how to help someone with , PTSD. It was cool how it teaches but it entertains at the same time. Bobby and Mike are great characters , and we met new ones. Over all I loved it. It was entertaining and fun to read. It kept my interest from the beginning to the end. I so hope Mr Burbidge kept wri

I have always enjoyed the books from Clark Burbidge and his StarPassage series is no different. This series will keep you interested and will pull in young readers from the start, they will not want to put this book down.

Burbidge has created a fantastical story that deals with real life situations, this book deals specifically with PTSD and how brothers Mike and Bobby move forward after an accident. They learn the importance of sticking together, keeping family close and the power of faith throu

Heroes and Martyrs by Clark Rich Burbidge is the second book in the StarPassage series, which kicked off in 2016 with the award winning first book, The Relic. This installment continues with the Carson family and the star they bought from an antique shop, one which opens the StarPassage and directs them to events, times, and people in the past. Heroes and Martyrs introduces us to two brothers, Mike and Bobby, who are helped by Tim and Martie (the protagonists in book one) in coping with a tragic ...more

With more time travel and adventure than the first, the next installment is sure to be an even bigger hit with readers.

The Carson family is back ready for another StarPassage adventure, this time with a new family. Brothers, bobby and Mike are having a hard time after an accident has left Mike in the hospital. Bobby blames himself and is having trouble getting past what happened. Together the brothers and the Carson’s travel first to D-Day and then to 9-11 to learn the lessons the star has for t
