Their love is forbidden, but their hearts aren't listening to rules and regulations.

Lieutenant Dustin Strauss is a reformed man. No longer a twentysomething hell-raiser, he's his SEAL team's new XO-and a man with a secret. Or seven. He's kept his bisexual identity under wraps for years, along with his kinky side and a fondness for the military-themed semianonymous hookup w

Wheels Up is the fourth installment in the Out of Uniform Series by Annabeth Albert. The series follows a group of Navy SEALs and their struggles with romance. Wheels Up focuses on Wes and Dustin.

Wes and Dustin meet via a Grindr like hook-up app called Joe4Joe with caters to military men. After 6 months of developing a friendship and some hot and heavy cyber sex, they decide to meet. Neither knows the other is a SEAL, choosing

The struggle was real in this one y'all!

These men struggled throughout the book.

They tried their best to keep their growing feelings at bay. But one kiss or touch wasn't enough. With every breath they craved more from one another. They pushed boundaries and crossed lines to be with each other. Always just one more time. Always one last goodbye. They tortured each other with messages and calls. They said it was over so many times wanting to believe they could stay away from each other ev

Dustin and Wes did video chat for six months but now they've decided to meet each other in person. Dustin did this online connection before but with Wes it was different, it was like a real friendship. But the thing is they both don’t know much about each other, like their jobs. Dustin thinks Wes’s job involved security and Wes thinks Dustin is marine. So anyway, they spent one night with each other and enjoy it so much. one month after that night Dustin’s LT announced they have a repla

I love everything Annabeth Albert writes, and this book was another good one in the Out of Uniform series. However, though I really enjoyed it, the drama got a little exhausting for me near the end of the story.

I love, love, love certain dynamics in M/M, and a big muscle guy who likes to bottom has to be one of them. (Yes, I know I'm opening this review with sex... I can't help it!) Annabeth Albert got it just right with the shy, huge Navy Seal who likes to be dominated. Me likey!! T

I'm still wearing a WTF face after finishing Wheels Up. And not for the reasons you might think.

This is my favorite of the Out of Uniform series (so far). So...what's the face for?

See, I wasn't expecting it. Hence me being perplexed at how much I enjoyed this story and leading men. I didn't think any character would have knocked Dylan off of my pedestal of #1. Looks like Dustin just did. At least, I'm keeping it in the family. I love the St

I loved it! Great writing, as always. Amazing characters! Loved their chemistry.

I've been dying to read this book since I've read the excerpt at the end of On Point.
Annabeth Albert's writing style became one of my favorites and Out of Uniform series is amazing. If you haven't read it, you should give it a try. Hot SEAL men, danger and a lot of angst. What could we want more?

I was pretty excited to read Dustin's story. All the other books were great, so I just knew I will fall for Dustin

“Hi,” Dustin said back, mouth all dry and cottony with longing.

I enjoyed this more than book 3. There were no asshole Mcs, Dustin (Dylan's brother from book 2) and Wes were great together. The two met online started chatting and formed a friendship. Fast- forward months later Wes got transfered to Dustin's unit and things became complicated.

This is a fan-fucking-tastic story!! Wes & Dustin are hot as hell together, I want to say this is probably the dirtiest story of Ms. Albert's I have read...and she really blew me away. Did I mention the angst? Oh the fabulous angst, loved it!!

This is a book you don't want to miss...I mean look at that cover!! You think its hot just wait until you read about the men in their story!!

Wheels Up is, hands down, the best contemporary military romance I've read this year. I've had a hit-or-miss relationship with Annabeth Albert's books, but let me tell ya, she gets almost everything right here. We get alpha males, some mild kink, delicious chemistry and a happy ending. Breaking the rules never tasted so good.

We met Dustin in At Attention as Dylan's older brother, and Apollo's best friend. When I saw that he was going to get his own story I was over the moon! Wheels Up did not disappoint!

Turns out that Dustin is bisexual but he hasn't explored this side of himself yet. But for the last few month he has been talking online with someone, through a military themed app.

What I loved :

-The online relationship. I'm a firm believer that online friendships/relationships can be as real and strong as real l

I really liked both MCs and how everything played out.

This is definitely my favorite Annabeth Albert series.

I don't know how to review this book, I've been stumped since I finished it.

Wheels Up by Annabeth Albert is a kinky forbidden love story of two Navy Seals who meet through a military app.

My highlights:

-Kink. I like when authors venture outside their norm. This book shows a kinkier side of Ms. Alberts and her attempt was successful.

-Friends to lovers. Dustin and Wes met through an app. They talked online and got off together occasionally so from the beginning of the book they're already fri

Why can't I write a proper review for this book?

Short and sweet, folks. This will be short and sweet.

Dustin and Wes cybertalk on Joe4Joe, a military app, for six months prior to the start of the book. The cybertalking leaps to meeting in person at the beginning of the book, and these two already have a good connection. Thank you, Ms. Albert, for the early-on, scorching hot scene!

But then Wes is transferred to Dustin's team, in which Dustin is his superior. Suddenly, everything is off limits for

I’ve got to say, that though this did not top On Point, I’m designating this latest installment as my 2nd favorite of this series.

Per the blurb and many a review, Dustin and Wes have been having a cyber relationship with each other for months, and these two connect on many levels despite it being 80% anonymous. When the chance for them to meet up results in quite the smexy hot encounter, both realize that they match up phenomenally. Too bad they live on separate coasts right? Both think

I finally got to read Dustin's story. Dylan's brother was a character I've been looking forward to since reading what was probably my favorite book this year: At Attention.

The brooding Navy SEAL lieutenant is the only one left among the circle of gay SEAL friends who is not yet coupled up. The thing is, he is not out. Not even to his friends. So watching his friends fall in love with men (or each other) isn't making things easier on him, especially since his younger brother Dylan already drew t

It had me so immersed that I didn't want it to end.

A truly lovely forbidden lovers romance. There are some fantastic relationship dynamics at play here, but to say too much would be to ruin the story.

Fans of Annabeth Albert don't need me to tell them how well she crafts a story, and Greg Boudreaux reads her beautifully. Very enjoyable audiobook.

Oh my heart! Such an emotional story, by far the angstiest in the series so far.

This is a story of Dustin (Dylan's big brother from At Attention) and Wes, who hook up via the military app Joe4Joe. They spend a memorable night together but things get a whole lot complicated when the new guy in Dustin's team turns out to be Wes. The regulations concerning fraternization between a superior and a subordinate are strict and very thoroughly upheld so even a close friendship would be breaking the rules

Welp. I didn't really expect to start this read off feeling so mixed and I definitely hoped it wouldn't have finished with me feeling that same sense of uncertainty. WHEELS UP is my least favourite of the Out of Uniform series and equally my least favourite of a recent run of books released by this author (not counting that co-authored novella). This is so sad. Me and Annabeth Albert just doesn't work. I don't even know why, but I can't help but to not love her book. Hell, I can't even like them all that much. Sure, they are a easy read, little depth and fast forward story, but I just can't connect with none of the characters nor the story. Lieutenant (Navy SEAL) Dustin ‘Godzilla’ Strauss (32) and Petty Officer (Navy SEAL) Wesley ‘Wes’ ‘Saucer-Man’ Lowe (how old?) were just characters I was rea
I will admit to being leery of starting this particular book, not having read any prior books. Plus, L.A. Witt has been the queen of inappropriate Navy romances for me, but seeing that Ms. Albert had consulted her, I was very encouraged, and wow! I’m now going to go back and read the rest of this series! The beginning did feel a little awkward, as Dustin and Wes are about to meet in real life and we’re only told about their online bond, so I didn’t connect well. A month later, they’re both blind ...more

This book needs to come with a heat warning. And an ice pack, probably a fan and definitely should be enjoyed somewhere the reader can artfully swoon because it is - without any shadow of doubt - the sexiest and downright kinkiest of the series.

Ben and Maddox remain my favourite pair but Dustin and Wes are approaching the top quickly in their bid to win my affections as best Out of Uniform couple yet.

As usual, Albert has delivered another delicious M/M romance, featuring complex yet relatable characters, a relationship to truly invest in, steam levels of perfection, and enough emotions to pack a wallop!

This series just goes from strength-to-strength and I will happily ride this train until I’m forced to disembark.

Ok, yes I gave this 2 stars. I know, I know, I know. I am a HUGE Annabeth Albert fan, and it kills me to say I didn't like this one. It just didn't work for me on so many levels.

Dustin and Wes "meet" in an online chat group Joe4Joe. Neither of them admit to being Seals, and allow the other to deliberately mistake their occupation in the military for something it really isn't. After months of online chats and vid

Damn it...this is where I really need GR to have half stars!

I really enjoyed this forbidden romance, for the most part. Dustin and Wes really worked for me...outside of the sex. Yep, that's right. The sex is where my disappointment lies.

I just couldn't get into it. What was supposed to be sexy commands and dirty talk felt cheesy and awkward. Something just didn't fit for me. I didn't believe or buy into either man's role...not Wes the controlling dominant or Dustin the submissiv

Another great installment in the Out of Uniform series.

I think this is one of my favorites. It's so full of emotion. Focusing in on the strong feelings of two people who have made "the" connection. You know, the connection that covers all the bases, friendship, laughter, chemistry, the whole thing. We call it "love".

Wes and Dustin fought it. They fell slowly. Only realising the significance of their feelings after they'd become friends and burned up the sheets a few times. The realizati
3.5 stars for this one - I enjoyed this story but it was just a bit frustrating for me. Dustin was sweet but had issues, he struggled in his own head and couldn’t reconcile Wes. Wes was adorable with his Dom tendencies but also had a level of vulnerability. While I thought both characters were great the flow just felt off best for me. I know most people loved this book so maybe it was just my vibe ? It certainly was worth reading but perhaps not my favorite in the series
