People fall in love. Then marry. After the initial honeymoon period the spark starts to die down. It is more prevalent in urban upper middle class couples who are financially well off. They get stuck in a rut and rat race to make money. The relationship becomes boring and one or both starts to stray. This is the basis of this novel.

Neil and Gauri is one such couple. Neil is a senior executive and Gauri is a dentist. They are a loving couple and Gauri is very possessive of Neil. Gauri is caring,

Messed Up! But all for love is a realistic and interesting second novel written by Arvind Parashar.

This book was interesting and I was hooked to the story. The book ends with positive notes and teaches us a few things about love.

Book Title and Cover- The Title is interesting and appropriate with the book. It gives us insight about the content. The Cover is not-attractive and could be improved.
The Blurb is short, crisp and interesting.

Neil in an attempt to woo his wife, messes up things and lands himself in big trouble. The book is an awesome read written in first person narrative and is written in a way that the reader can relate. The plot is well woven and that keeps you turning the pages till the very end. This novel traces the story of Neil and Gauri. Then there is also another couple comprising of Drishti and Somesh. Then there are various other friends called Tom, Jerry, Antriksha, Mehr, James, etc.
There is something in the plot about Drishti being allegedly kidnapped, and Neil being framed for it. Get a hint? No right? Neither did I when I read this synopsis on the back cover of the novel. However, I was optimistic that the novel will provide a clearer picture compared to the vague synopsis.

Messed Up! But All For Love follows the life of Neil and Gauri who are a married couple about to get a divorce. The book tells us the story of how their marriage crumbled and how certain people were part of the reason.

The book starts off very well. The prologue shows Neil getting out from jail and heading to Gurgaon from Mumbai. It is very suspenseful and I could see that the book would be a bit intense.

This isn’t a very happy book. We see how Neil and Gauri’s marriage crumble and how he has a b

Both of them have their set of very good friends to fool around with and lean back on when time needs them to. Tom, Jerry, and Jasoos are the friends Neil can count on at any time. I enjoyed reading the book, the second half was a page turner. It would have been amazing if the characters were more developed in reference of their background and thought process was described more. The story seemed to be filmy at a time but the narration and the questions kept me reading without losing the interest.
With many small stories cooking up in parallel between different characters this book is a love triangle of misunderstandings, misfortune and mistiming.
