Despite me liking this cute bunny shifter book I'm still stunned this book is $5 for only 108 pages. I really wanted to read it so I bought it anyway, but I'm not sure it was worth it in the end. Cute: definitely, mind-blowing: definitely not. I don't really get authors who let readers pay this amount for such short novellas.

But okay, on to the story.

We meet Peter while he is hippity-hopping around as a bunny, eating his neighbors flowers, when he is suddenly chased by werewolves. He is

Cute bunny shifter story

This was pretty dang adorable. Always love a good bunny shifter story. Wish there was actually mpreg though. That would have made it even better.
It's really cute.

I liked the novelty of a bunny shifter but started to loose interest once his identity was revealed. It's all fantasising, burgeoning cocks from there and the switching equally lovelorn povs was too much for me.

Also bunny-shifter = MPREG - don't know how much impact that has on the later story.
Which while I've read some good fanfics with it, generally it isn't a story device I get. To me there was no reason for Peter not to be a girl bunny, wasn't clear why a male bunny had mor

GAH! This novella was ADORABLE!

Cute bunny shifter named Peter, (of all things), and OMG he's just adorable in the beginning. Werewolves are after him, so he hides as a bunny with Luke, the human who he has a major crush on. Of course, Luke finds out, demands to know what's going, and is determined to help Peter.

I just can't. It was super cute, and I'm begging for more because although there isn't actual mpreg in this, it's definitely discussed and definitely gonna happen between them. I'm wonde

The first few pages just about killed me with cuteness. This was what I was looking for when I went in search for a smol shifter story.
I loved the chapters of Peter as a rabbit and I would've happily read more of them instead of the actual plot lol. The plot wasn't bad by all means, but not very interesting imo as it could've been solved with less death (yes, actual death) by having a simple conversation.

My enjoyment of the first chapters featuring floofy, chubby bunny eating cinnamon rolls was

I’ll admit, I had to read a shifter book that wasn’t about a predator: wolves, coyotes, lynx, cats, bears, cougars, you’ve probably read as many as I have. But, seriously…a BUNNY shifter! Not a wererabbit, as Peter is very quick to point out. How cool is that!!

This was a fun read. It starts off with Peter eating daisies and worrying about his hips, that worry becomes a true fear when he realizes the werewolves are in town and are looking for him. A whiskers escape leaves him stranded in a baseme

I’m all for reading books that have a unique twist on them. So when I learned this book was about shape-shifting bunnies… that are gay. Yeah, I was on board. The first half of the book was exactly what I hoped it would be. A timid little bunny who is in love with his best friend’s brother. Oh, and he’s being hunted by werewolves. I mean, this stuff just writes itself. Add in the classic names, Peter, Benjamin, even a gardener named Mrs. Gregor.

Then… it was revealed that male bunnies can get preg
Well, I was looking for a cute (and relatively non-angsty) story, and this was definitely one! It's very cute, almost too cute at some points. There is a wee bit of angst thrown in, but basically it's adorable. It's also pretty short - I really wish that the story had been developed a bit more, especially since (view spoiler). And I would like to learn more about the werewolves and their hierarchy in the shifter wor ...more

A cute read. I wish there had been more on shifter dynamics (the bunnies, the wolves, and other creatures). The author made a nice intro to her world of shifters. They were unique and I really was curious about what made each shifter special (view spoiler). I'm looking forward to reading the next installment and seeing what direction the author takes. ...more

A.R. Barley is a new to me author, but I took a chance on this book considering it had some of my favorite things. A non-traditional shifter, in love with the best friend’s brother trope, and mating. While there were definitely places where the story could have been improved, it was a fun little romp.

I really liked that both Peter and Luke had feelings for one another, though they both had things standing in their way. For Peter, he thought Luke, who is gorgeous a

It’s cute, fluffy, and about a bunny who falls in love with a hipster. If that one sentence doesn’t sell you on this book, nothing I say will sway you.

Peter (What else?) is the bunny shifter and I loved the way the bunny personality dialed way up when he’s in bunny form and was more muted, but still there, in his human form. I also appreciated the fact that Peter wasn’t a skinny twink. Luke, on the other hand, is a gun-toting, wilderness store-owni

Shy little bunny

A really sweet story in a new world of shifters!

Peter (yes Peter) is a rabbit shifter. He lives in the small town of New Hope and is hopelessly in love with his best friend's brother, Luke, but far too shy to make a move. When werewolves come sniffing around town Peter needs to run or hide. When he ends up in rabbit form getting caught by Luke and taken home as a pet it seems perfect. Until the werewolves come sniffing around Luke's door and he needs to protect the man he loves.

This was cute!!

We are introduced to Peter, the chubby, fluffly and cuteness overload wererabbit -rs-. He's in love with very much human, but a bit of a bear, Luke. They have know each other for years and (view spoiler).

The beginning was good. We get to know about their lives and etc. But after the werewolves appear all became so rushed. Everything happened in a flash and it kind of killed the magic a little for me. Maybe it was my fault becaus

As many others have said, this is just adorable. Peter's moments as a cute, fluffy bunny and the funny moments that come along then (Luke and bunny rabbit Peter watching The Fast and the Furious on the couch) are just priceless. There's also the sweetness of Peter as a blushing virgin with a deep, abiding crush on the handsome, older, bear Luke. I appreciated that the story didn't set up Peter as a stereotypical little waif-like hottie twink to contrast with Luke's bear-like physique and persona ...more

With the title and series name being what they are, I knew I was in for a cute read and I wasn't disappointed. This was adorable and sweet, and I love how the author was able to throw in well-rounded characters, mild angst, and some shifter background in a story that was only about 30K words.

A.R. Barley is a new-to-me author, so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the sweetness of the story and how the author managed to give you just enough on secondary characters to lea

I had this book on my wish list for some time. Luckily a friend lent me her copy and I was able to read it sooner than I anticipated. I really enjoy books about bunny shifters. Did I enjoy this particular story enough to buy my own copy? Not really.

I can't really put my finger on why I didn't like the book more. It was a cute story. I loved all of the characters. Peter especially was adorable. I just didn't think that it was anything special. I found myself getting frustrated with

Chasing His Cottontail was a fun read for me. I really enjoyed being inside of Peter's head while he was in his bunny form. The inner dialogue was well written and very humorous. As a reader I could feel the chemistry between Peter & Luke. What was kind of awkward for me was the introduction of Benji as a possible love interest. I felt that Peter & Benji had been so close for so many years that it seemed strange that it had never been addressed between them before. With that said I would still r ...more

So this book was short and sweet. It was very charismatic, and i found it absolutely adorable! This book features a m/m romance where one of them is a bunny shifter! It was totally adorable to hear the thoughts of Peter in bunny form. This book is exactly what the author wanted it to be short, sweet and in her words in the book "cute as fu**". I vastly enjoyed her writing and loved her new thoughts geared towards writing this type of novel! Thank you for letting me review this and 5 stars! ...more

Peter, the bunny in this book, is in love with his very human best friend's older brother. He loves the town he's in but when werewolves start chasing him he thinks twice on staying there. Luke is the best friends older brother a manly man with a love of plaid. Will he be enough or even want to stop the threat to Peter? This short and sweet novella is a quick read with an adorable bunny shifter that in both forms you will love. ...more

A sweet little romance about a cute bunny shifter. I liked that there are no fated mates, insta love and all the usual shifter tropes.

The shifters were more like their animal form even while human which added a bit of humor and tension not usually seen in shifter stories.

I can't really give it more than 3 stars because while I did enjoy it and will continue the series it's simply a sweet little romance story that is great for a break from reality it didn't consume my attention.

Not long ago on one of my reading groups someone asked about bunny shifter stories and then I found one. This was so damn cute and sweet. It definitely starts off ala Peter rabbit down to being chased out of a garden. No one was super hot or cute, our Peter is fluffy in every sense of the word and Luke is a bear. But they are so adorable together I can’t help but love it. The werewolves chasing down a bunny isn’t quite what you think. The author makes it so there’s a lot of room for other books ...more

This is a cute bunny shifter romance. I quite enjoyed it for a fun, easy read. This isn't a deep or intense read. It is as it looks a "feel-good" romance.

My biggest disappointment was not being able to see these two with kids. That would have been awesome.

I started reading this because I had read other books by this author and really liked them, but I would have liked a warning about the Mpreg. Why do so many shifter stories do this nonsense? It just weirds me out so much why people like this stuff.

Oh my gosh this book was impossibly cute and sweet and I loved every second, ESPECIALLY every second Peter was a bunny. And I love how it's always "bunny" not "rabbit". I would read a dozen books like this. I might need a lot of insulin afterwards, but it would be worth it! ...more

What a cute bunnies shifter book. Luke and Peter love each other but neither is aware of the other feelings. And then there's Benji.
