To kill a Reaper by Jack Wallen

Fate is a cryptic master.
Oh my goodness, this book is so good. I read it in on sitting. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop. You may remember from book one Grim & Xtine went head to head with a Scythe named Jons and barely survived that epic battle. The gang is back again in this second book of the series. Grim, X, Darth and Ammy are once more chowing down on huge pizzas whenever they can get a break from Reaping duties. Fate has given Grim and X the task to once again go into battle and finally rid the NeverRealm and the world of the deadly Scythe Jons. I love this series as Wallen can have you laughing one minute and choking up the next, all while taking you on an incredible journey with amazing characters. I can hardly wait to read the ...more

I am really loving this series. This is a delightful tale and jam packed full of pop culture references and links to other books. I love Grim and x and their relationship is so sweet and loving. If you haven't read the first book 'the tale of two reapers' you don't need to but you should because that is a great book too.
The deadly Scythe Jons has removed Judgment from its realm and it's up to Grim and Xtine to save the day and the world as we know it. I love how there are characters from Jack

Jack Wallen is what happens when a Gen Xer mind-melds with present day snark. Jack is a seeker of truth and a writer of words with a quantum mechanical pencil and a disjointed beat of sound and soul. Although he resides in the unlikely city of Louisville, Kentucky, Jack likes to think of himself more as an interplanetary traveler, on the lookout for the Satellite of Love and a perpetual movie ...more
