They were best friends until they became roommates.

Booker Harris has spent the last several years pushing himself to become the best goalkeeper in the Championship League. Tired of living in the shadows of his headline-splashing brothers, he has finally carved a path of his own.

As a child, Poppy McAdams was content in her own little make-believe world, until the boy next d

Oh Booker Harris. It's the quiet ones that always surprise you. Booker and Poppy challenged me in a way no book couple ever has. Best friends to lovers, roommates, so many elements happening on the road to your HEA. And I love the end result!!! ...more

I enjoyed this book until I didn’t. It had the potential to be a great friends-to-lovers romance but the hero pretty much ruined the book for me. He continually fought his feeling for the heroine throughout most of the book. For me, this type of trite plotline gets old and tedious real fast. By the time he finally opened his eyes and got his act together, I didn’t really care anymore. I also struggled with how “young adult” this book felt. For characters who’s ages ranged from mid

First, dammmn that is a fine cover...wiping my drool off my chin now!

Ok, now back to the actual book, I really enjoy the Harris brothers and this series. This series is my only experience with this author, but I'm a huge fan and she has knack for sports romance.
Booker could be a bit annoying with his stubbornness, but he was equally enduring. Poppy stole this one, she was quite awesome. Her quirky personality and quick whit are my favorite qualities. All the banter between Poppy and An

A fun and emotional best friends to lovers romance.

Poppy & Booker grew up together. Poppy showed up just when Booker needed her, and that proceeded to happen back and forth for the rest of their young lives. Broken hearts and growing apart take them away from each other for six long years, but now they are back together as roommates, and maybe even more?

I loved Booker and Poppy's story. I loved how bubbly and fun Poppy was, and I lo

Amy Daws has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I trust her with her words; I don't even read her blurb anymore. I'm so engrossed in the Harris Brothers that I need to know all about them.
Keeper is Booker's story and even if I wanted Gareth more, I also know I need to be patient and the rewards will be the perfect gift.

Once again, I'm in awe with how Amy writes a story that can be both emotional and fun. I've discovered her with Challenge and ever since I'm always laughing within the fir

I love the Harris family. Their bond from losing their mother too soon is something to admire. Their constant bickering and bantering is hilarious. I love how they always stick their nose into everyone else’s business, with all the love in the world, of course! Now was time for baby Booker to get his turn at his HEA. The baby of the family, Booker doesn’t remember his mother at all, and has grown up believing that loving anyone outside of the family means losing them and isn’t

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

*5 Stars*

Audiobook kindly received from author in exchange for an honest review.

I’m new to audiobooks, so new that this is only my second one. And the first one was Endurance, the book before this one in the Harris Brothers series.

I loved Will Watt and Lottie Cole as narrators for Endurance, but for Keeper? Wow! These guys were born to narrate these two characters.

Listenting to this on audio, brings all the feels and more that I had whilst I read the book earlier in the yea

I tried so hard, even after 4% and a terrible, juvenile STD joke (sorry, don't love stigma around any diseases. Like saying lung cancer is deserved if you exhibit risk behavior. STIs can have devastating consequences and are not funny to me, I guess. Iirc, this is a typical fallback and I struggled with rape and promiscuity jokes in the second of this series.) I was saying I tried, but I became quickly fatigued. I don't have it in me. ...more

Oh goodness me, just when I thought this series couldn’t get better Amy goes and hits me up with Booker Harris and HOT DAMN, he was absolutely everything and more.

Booker and Poppy are best friends, ever since boomers eyes landed on the girl with the dirty dress he knew they’d be friends forever. Hearing about their childhood is so incredibly adorable and left me in awe. They were so cute. After that one horrible night ending with Poppy leaving for Germany she finally comes back 6 years later, r

This was okay apart from my least favourite trope appearing out of nowhere. However, book three and I’m finding this felt all too familiar. I enjoyed books one and two but needed something a bit more fresh for the third offering.

Great duet narration.

I popped my Amy Daws cherry with this one, and I can't believe it has taken me this long. Keeper is a standalone but part of a series spin off, It can read before the others but I will definitely be going back to read them.

Booker Harris is a professional Goalkeeper, who's life was turned upside down when his childhood best friend left for Germany for college without giving him a proper goodbye, Fast Forward 6 years and Poppy returns to take a teaching job. What will happen when these reunite an

Oh Booker! How can you not love him????

The Harris brothers are a group of men who know what they want (well, sometimes) and will go after it and fight for it.

The chemistry between Booker and Poppy was perfect! Their connection never faded, even over time. But, they had their ups and downs and everything in-between.

I loved reading all the Harris boys books, go grab this one! And make sure you grab Booker's brothers books too!

This is the third book in the Harris series. It's Booker's story the youngest in the family. His life hasnt been easy being the youngest in the Harris family. But the one person that made it easier was Poppy his child good friend. They have been close since they were 7 and code ever since. Well until things got a lil sticky and Poppy left him to go to Uni in Germany. Now 6 year later she is back and feeling ate goin crazy. The only think is Booker doesn't do love. Ev

Another great book by Amy Daws!! Keeper can definitely be read as a standalone as I have not read either of the first two books in this series. Booker's brothers do make appearances in this book but they do not overshadow anything in this book.

One thing that I can tell you that stands out in this book is how close and tight the Harris family is. They are all in each other's lives and know what's going on constantly with one another and Amy portrays that very well. It's not annoying in the least

I fell in love with the Harris brothers the moment I started reading Challenge and as the series progresses they just keep getting better and better. Camden was firmly sitting pretty as my favorite Harris brother up until I read Keeper. Why? Two words: Booker Harris. *swoon* That man. Sweet baby Jesus. He is now sitting pretty at the top of my Harris brother totem pole with Camden right behind him.

Not only does Keeper have the dreamy Booker Harris, but Poppy is adorable and quirky. Seeing her f

REVIEW TO COME SOON..!!

This is the third book of the Harris Brothers series and this is about the youngest Harris Brother, BOOKER HARRIS..!!

This story is about two childhood friends re-uniting after 6 years. Booker and Poppy have been friends since they were little kids. This is an amazing story about over coming the fear of loss and accepting the love that people so want to give it to you.

BOoker Harris is a very intriguing character. He is amazingly hot with his Keeper Hands. He h

This is the first book I've picked up by Amy Daws, but I have had my eye on her soccer romances for a long time now. I mean, with covers like that, who wouldn't? While Booker may be the youngest of the Harris brothers, he's definitely not the last brother I plan on reading about now!

Booker Harris is living his dream as a football (soccer here in America) player alongside his brothers. When he gets a message from his best childhood friend that she's moving back to England, he doesn't hesitate to

UPDATE: Second "read" was actually the audiobook.. and my, oh my, I was swooning away, and laughing and crying. Absolutely amazing!!!!!!

You know I was sorta steadfast on Tanner being my favorite Amy Daws hero.. yes, there was soulful, hurt, beautiful Hayden... and leave-me-swooning-and-drooling, brooding glassed Theo.. but Tanner was that juust right mix between deep, vulnerable.. and alpha sexiness..

In comes Booker. Booker is the unassuming kind.. quiet, reserved.. not all that take-charge att

This book--AHHHH!!!! It had all the feels. On one page I was laughing and ten pages later I was crying. Daws kept me flipping through, eating up the words until I was disappointed because I'd reached the end. I don't believe in leaving a play by play review of what happened in the book, but just know this. Keeper has a well executed story line, well developed characters you will fall in love with, perfectly steamy chemistry between Poppy and Booker (so much so you can feel the e

4 Keep Me CROWNS

I love the Harris family. Every single one of them. Booker, though, is my favorite so far. His journey, along with Poppy, from friends to lovers is filled with heartwarming childhood memories, painful past mistakes, and heated and intimate moments in the present.

Booker Harris is so broken, but he isn't the standard shattered hero. His pain and issues stem from a childhood loss, and unlike most broken characters, his symptoms do not appear on the

Need, Feel, keep.
These are the keywords in this friends to lovers romance. But these are also the 3 greatest skills of a great goalkeeper. Right?
And Booker Harris gets them all. Defending the net is his goal, his mission on the field. For doing that, he NEEDS concentration, he FEELS any offensive strategy, because he's able to estimate the speed and the trajectory of any ball. And must KEEPing his net "save" to give to his team, the gory it dreams of. Defending for him comes natural, effortless

Keeper follows the youngest Harris brother, and his childhood friend Poppy. They sure have things cut out for them - because true communication is not their forte. Especially Poppy is holding on to old grudges, but she wants everything to work out perfectly anyway.
I love a good friends to lovers story, and Daws gave me that! The big, noisy, nosey Harris family and their 'better halves' were a big part of this novel as well.

While I read the books that helped me discover this author on my e-reader, I have been lucky enough to listen to all three of the stories in the Harris Brothers series on audio. And I can't imagine anything better. First of all, the narrators on these books are perfect. (I'm hearing that word said in my head with a British accent as I write this, because I just love the way the female narrator, Charlotte Cole, says it!) As usual the author brings all the feels with her story. There's laughing - ...more

Keeper is the 3rd book in the Harris Brothers series of British Sports Romances which as a Brit i love hearing football knowing it is meant as football as most books refer to it as soccer which i always find strange to say and i absolutely adored Booker and Poppy's story.

Then I met Tanner Harris. I was 100% certain that Tanner Harris was the Harris man for me.

Now that I have met Booker Harris, there is absolutely no doubt that he is the Harris man for me!

I avoid giving one star to books for two rudimentary reasons. For starters, an author pours a part of his soul into his work through his exposure to the public. Keeping this in mind, not finding a single thing worthy of praise about a book is a disrespectful remark. Secondly, my rating is representative of both the plot and the writing. Rarely does a book lack in both its storyline and its writing style. This book is the exception that proves the rule.

Booker and Poppy have been best friends for
