Rose is part of an online book club that decided to get together in the Caribbean. While there, each woman wrote a letter to her dream hero, put it in a bottle, and tossed it out to sea. What will happen when Rose’s bottle is found?

This was a feel good, sweet love story, filled with good people and a great ending. I loved Rose! She has the most beautiful spirit! She is kind and generous and comfortable being herself. Tanner is everything you could want in a hero! He’s got a sense of humor, a goo

The Beach Bride on this cover looks a little like a pouty starlet, however, the dress does not seem to match the story within very well. That said, it is still a beautiful cover as all of them are. I did not get the opportunity to read the synopsis to this particular novella in the series prior to receiving it.

With each book I finish by Shanna Hatfield my heart is more endeared to this author. Rose is the perfect picture of a Hopeless Romantic. Rose has put her feelings onto paper and placed the paper into a bottle and thrown it along with her expectations of ever finding her perfect soul mate into the ocean thousands of miles from home state. With the toss of the bottle goes her belief for a happy ever after. Tanner has endured his mother trying to find him the perfect lady only to survive one disast ...more

This is the most romantic story I think I have ever read. Oh my this one is funny but undoubtedly the most romantic scenes and hero and heroine you would want in a story.
Tanner is the most amazing guy, every woman would want in her life. Yeah he is that kind of guy with a great sense of humor and a heart that has been hit hard.
Rose, oh Rose is a beautiful, charming and fun woman who with a bunch of friends wrote a message to a man who has the qualities she wants in a man. The message of all thin

This is one of those books that once you pick it up you need to be able to sit down and read it from beginning to end. Every time I tried to put it down I had to turn around and keep reading. It is that good.

Rose has a Vintage Shop and she dresses in the clothes from the 1900's but she wears the styles well. Her business is doing well and she goes to the Enchanted Isle with her book club friends and on her last night there writes a lovely letter to her dream man whomever he may be.

Rose ( Beach Brides Series - #9 )
By: Shanna Hatfield
Rose is book nine in Beach Brides Series . You can read any of these book out of order and will be no problem.I have read several of them and hoping to read them all. I absolutely love this series. Hatfield did a fantastic job on the story and the characters. I have read some by this author and hopefully will be reading more. Although the cover girl doesn't look anything like the way I would picture "Rose" in the story, it's still a great book! Rose is refreshingly sweet and her own person. She wears what she wants to and her wardrobe includes things from many different decades! I loved her! When a "message in a bottle" washes up on a beach and is found by Tanner's mother, she continues to nag Tanner about contacting the writer of the message for a long while. Tanner keeps it in his closet for TWO years! One day he c ...more

My Thoughts:
Whenever I see that Shanna Hatfield has a new book, I can't wait to read it. This is a beautiful story of just the right time romance. Tanner opens the bottle just at the time in his life that he was willing to pursue and find the author of the message in the bottle. The description of the setting of this book makes you feel like your right there walking along the beach or in Rose's shop. I could vision Rose's wardrobe that covered all eras. I love how they connected through email a

I really enjoyed this story with Rose and Tanner. Tanner's mom found the bottle and after reading the letter inside, gave it to her son. After reading the letter myself I thought, how is she going to swing this story. Woman like Rose are hard to find but a man like Tanner is even harder. These 2 characters were a great match. Shanna Hatfield kept us in the here and now with some old fashioned values. I am voluntarily reviewing this book given to me by the author under no obligation. ...more

Vintage Love!

Rose: Love the small town idea and the vintage store. I loved that Tanner didn't flaunt that he came from money and want to do what loved. Rose and her taste for vintage clothes was wonderful and how her grandmother left her with what she love in life. Tanner and Rose might have come from different backgrounds but the fireworks were what brought them love. I love that it was lovev at first site. It was a wonderful love story!

This is my favorite book of the series. I loved loved the characters, the writing was excellent, the editing was great, and the storyline was fun and clean. I really hated the book to end. Highly recommended.

Rose is #9 in the Beach Bride's series. I love this series! And although I love all the women's stories I have read so far, this is right up there. I think I might have a new favorite. This one's going to stay with me. So sweet and charming. And incredibly Romantic. I absolutely loved Rose and Tanner. I loved their chemistry. I wanted to be Rose. And wanted a guy as wonderful as Tanner. I loved that, although young, Rose was from a bygone era. I loved that Tanner loved that about her too. I thou ...more

Rose: Beach Brides Book Book 9 is by Shanna Hatfield. This book ;title goes right with the setting of the story which is cute.
Rose lived in Seaside, Oregon and ran The Vintage Rose antiques shop. She lived in the house that housed the shop and had lived there with her aunt prior to her death. Rose loved to raise flowers, especially roses, and loved to make her own clothes in the material and designs best suited for far gone years. She especially loved wearing vintage clothes when she worked. Sh

This is the 9th book in this great fun series of 12 book club members’ adventures to finding love after their Caribbean vacation. The 12 woman all put a message in a bottle for their dream man to find, so they could still believe in love and romance even after having a broken heart. I have read most of this series in which I have enjoyed how each author has added her spin of the same topic. This modern day message-in-a-bottle romance is especially appealing to me because I think it's sweet and endearingly old-fashioned, just like the antique shop that our heroine, Rose, lives in and works in every day on the banks of the Oregon coast. Our hero, Tanner, has a job he loves in Denver but he's so totally charmed by Rose's parchment and calligraphy adorned love letter he feels compelled to meet the mysterious woman who created it. At a time when the rest of society is enjoying the anony ...more

Such a lovely, sweet, romantic book! At times while reading Rose and Tanners story, I felt I was reading a more historical rather than contemporary book (not a complaint at all...I cut my romance teeth on historicals!) I can still picture Rose in her darling vintage clothing, drinking a cup of tea and writing those beautiful notes to Tanner as they first got to know each other. And Tanner was such a gentleman, as well as a gentle man, who didn't view Rose as odd with her vintage clothing, store ...more

A straightforward sweet romance novella. I really liked the "message in the bottle" concept that carries throughout the series of twelve books - some of the messages were funny, some heartfelt, but each one was unique and a great start to each individual story. With the exception of Ginny Baird, each author in the series is new to me. What initially caught my eye was the beautiful cover art.

This one was my favorite of the series - I particularly enjoyed the backdrop as I live on the Oregon Coast

Rose Lawson was born in the wrong time. She enjoys antiquing and making clothes from the early 1900's. She learned everything from her grandmother and her friends. Tanner Thomas is an only child and his mom wants him to settle down. I was laughing at the women she tried to set him up with. Now she is pushing a message in the bottle. When he finally opens the bottle, he feels compelled to write her. Now Tanner has decided he needs to meet her. When he does, she is shocked and leery. I love that h ...more

This is such a sweet story. Rose put a note in a bottle and then set it adrift. It was found by a woman in Florida. The woman gave the bottle to her son and made him promise he would contact the woman who wrote the note. She just knew they would be perfect for each other. Tanner promised his mom he would contact her, but shoved the bottle and note to the back of a closet. Two years later, he tried to get rid of it but couldn't. He finally contacted Rose by email. Taking a chance, he went to see ...more

Old-fashioned fun, laced with romance
Rose is comfortably established in the store she has inherited from her grandmother, and loves what she does and where she lives. She is surprised when she receives an email from ‘T,” but has fun sparring with him by email. Then she meets him, and is pleased to get acquainted with him. There is comedy, as well as love, and old-fashioned values are refreshingly attractive in this book, too. I can’t imagine anyone not liking it. I loved reading it a second time

This book was excellent. What more could you ask for... moonlit nights, sand, sea, antiques, meddling mothers and old ladies, and alot of good old fashioned romance. I really enjoy how Shanna weaves local history and modern day places into her stories. As a long time Oregon resident I get a kick out of reading about places Ive lived and places Ive visited... she really does her research on her locations. I would definitely recommend this book as well as the entire series for anyone who enjoys a ...more

Rose is yet another fun read from Shanna Hatfield. I loved Rose's character, her confidence, her quirks, and her obsession with the days of yore. I so wished her shop was real so I could visit there! I love old fashioned things and values and this book was great in that area. I enjoyed the process of Rose and Tanner getting to know each other and I loved there happy ending. Worth the read if you're looking for a fun, sweet romance with original, quirky characters.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were wonderful, and I loved the beach theme setting. I loved that Rose was kind of old fashioned and that she owned an antique store. And I loved that Tanner was the ruggedly handsome type, but he was also very sweet. I loved the idea that you never really know when or where you will find love, or rather, where love will find you. :) I'd definitely recommend this book! ...more

This is a wonderful story in a series of twelve stories where twelve women write a letter describing their dream man and put them in a bottle and throw them in the sea.
In this one Rose's was found not by her dream man but by his mother and he puts the bottle in his closet for two years before he remembers it and then finally reads the letter.
I have enjoyed each of the books in this series each written by a different author.

Rose is the ninth book from the fun Beach Brides series. I just love this concept of the 12 friends putting messages in a bottle and throw them out to sea. In this installment, it is Rose's turn to have her message discovered by Tanner's mother. With her insistence, he finally contacts Rose, and it turns their world upside down. Rose and Tanner is so sweet and romantic. I highly recommend this clean and fun read, as well as, the whole series. 5+ stars. ...more
