It has a fair depiction of the good versus evil struggle.

I’m giving this book five stars because I enjoyed every page of it. The landscape and settings in the book are fascinating and the characters are great. There are different plot lines going on at once and with each page I was wondering how the lines would eventually cross. It really was an entertaining read. If you like old PC adventure games you will love this book! If you are new to the genre it is a great place to start because it is an easy and enjoyable read. Read this book!

Where to begin...

A lot to unpack here. I haven't finished yet, if I can push through the beginning and it improves I'll update this. I almost gave it 2 stars but I feel they're is potential here through the muddle.
Isekai in another world shtick, with amnesia this time. They're lots of... things happening. I suppose it helps you feel a confused as the MC? But just lots of action, and people... oh lords characters and names thrown at you every which way, but barely a description on any so they feel like mannequins being introduced to you.
The next jarring thing is the perspective changes on a whim. You don't need one throughout, but a better delineation would be nice, maybe by chapter, or a break somehow. Instead it's just randomly back and forth, though at least the author tags the name of the person in each case.
It feels like it's all too give you an info dump, but to do so there's so much... superfluous events to give it, it slows the pacing down a ton. I kept finding myself skipping sections because they felt like they were about nothing. Some of it at least gave some greatly needed character development, I just wish it was more organically achieved without slowing everything down so much.
Perhaps if less characters were introduced at jump, allowing time to get some a purchase in the mind, with way more detail. I'm several chapters in and they feel like just names on a page. You don't have to gild the lily like Robert Jordan but give something more substantive than hair/eye colour and pointed ears.
Still, I'm hopeful cause the few bits of mystery elements, while told more than shown regrettably also not being helpful, might have some payoff even if not set up well. Also there isn't a lot of grammatical errors so it gets an extra star for that fact.

A CC. Fantasy SYFY. Action Adventure (F)

Cc. Miss penned a fantasy that compares with many, but this novel has more personnel references in the story. There are Elves, dragons and other mystic creayures. One young man is drawn into an abyss and becomes what he wad not, but what he dreamed he was. The only thing missing for revenge foods to eat was the gardens. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
