A Hitta's Love: Wise And Nylah's Story
Wise, a business owner by day, drug lord & hitta by night, is a boss in his own right. The owner of a known Car Wash, Wise encounters Nylah for the first time and every time thereafter she has him literally stuck. Tired of fighting his feelings for her he tries his luck only to be thwarted at every turn by his messy baby mama, Kawana.
Kawana is the baby mother from hell. She lost custody of their daughter, Yokima after a serious lapse in judgment and as a result, she loses any financial claim to Wise's money. Kawana isn’t going for that and will do whatever it takes to get what she wants.
Nylah, a nurse at the hospital, initially meets Wise at his car wash but later in the Club, the sparks immediately fly. She is still tied up with her current boyfriend, Vince but her heart left a long time ago. Now she just has to figure out how to get Vince to let her go and move on to what could possibly be her happily ever after.
Sarah, Nylah's best friend moved to New Orleans to escape her boyfriend of 5 years. She wants to make a clean break from Taybo to pursue something with a new man who has caught her eye, Emir. But like they say, love just isn't that simple.

Just ok
just ok. I don't know if it was the writing style that I hated the most. The plot had the potential to be great but it moved kind of slow. Nothing major happened

This was a good story about Nurse Nylah meeting Trinidadian Wise after relocating from Charlotte, NC to New Orleans, LA. His buddy Emir (Mir) began dating a friend of Nylah's named Sarah. She also was making plans to move away from Charlotte where she lived with an abusive boyfriend named Taybo. Of course there was drama and a few ratchets, but there are a lot of dangerous scenarios, which I liked. Wise and Emir owned several legitimate businesses, yet the guys are also paid assassins. A Shoota, A Hitta!

I like KC Mills and got this book because I like her writing. Before you put you name on it....please get these young people a beta reader. Too many mistakes and inconsistencies. Story line is okay and interesting but the grammatical and punctuation errors should be corrected. And leave the patois alone...I read with an accent already, that makes it hella confusing

Oh Girl
You did your thing with this here and I'm so relieved you don't leave us waiting years. I know DJ and them dumb ashes (spelled that way on purpose for the review) ain't get Nylah like that then again was it the detective dude then oh Lord please let Sarah be good. Let me say here like I did in the group I love me some Trini men. But you did a good job...

Another good read
I like Nylah and Wise and Sarah and Emir. They definitely have some haters that are doing whatever to get at them. The only distracting thing while reading were the typos, misspelled words, and change in font at different parts of the book

Great read
Excellent job and I enjoyed this book! I felt so bad for Sarah and the mess Taybo put her through! Nylah deserves a lot better than Vincent and that cliffhanger left me froggy! Great job and I can't wait for part two!

The storyline is great. Im loving the chemistry between both couples. The editing could have been a bit better I'm loving it so far. Can't wait to see what happens in book 2.

Who has taken Nylah was it the bitter ex or the bitter baby mama of wise... we shall see.... I'm glad that Sarah is ok but they need to cancel Taybo but I can tell it's about to get worse

Bland story, needs major work. I still don’t know if his name is Tabon or Tavon. I was sooo tired of people “go” do this and “go” do that. Both couples instantly clicked from the second they see each other. Of course they spill all their issues day one and the men jump head first ready to die for them. Okay just nothing filling.
