This short alt-history Caribbean pirate fantasy novel is action-packed and heaps of fun. Cool creatures, rich characters, magic and swashbuckling- how can you can wrong? I'd enjoy more in this nicely realised alternative version of reality.

I first thought it would be more serious, like a David Wood novel. But I was delightfully surprised!
The story is fast paced. Strong female characters, and a really cool crystal parrot with an attitude!
I highly recommend this book for readers of any genre who like some good entertainment!
