“Jake.” I inhale deeply. “When I discovered you were getting married, my world collapsed.”

This was an adult contemporary romance novel, following one woman as her life went in two different directions.

Gemma was an okay character, and it was clear how deep her feelings were for Jake. It was also nice how much she cared about her friend, that she’d sacrifice her own happi

This is a romantic comedy about one woman, life’s infinite possibilities, and the destiny that lies beyond two opposite choices.

This was an okay-novel.

The concept is unique, I can definitely give it that. Having two parallel-running story-lines with the same characters but different choices, intrigued me a lot at first. That is, until I noticed the author keep going back to the same things in both storylines.
Although I do get the why, it got on my nerves she sometimes uses the exact same descriptions and dialogues in both story lines.

The other issue I had was conversations sometimes feeling very forced and the main chara

This book caught my attention as I think we’ve all wondered how our lives could have turned out completely differently had we made other choices and in Love Connection you get to see how Gemma’s life could be by making both choices and seeing her two very unalike lives side by side. She can either attend her best friends wedding as the maid of honor, or crash her exes wedding and reveal her true feelings. Which choice does she really make? And will the outcome r

WOAH. This is one of the most unique books that I have read in a long time. Camilla Isley has outdone herself with this novel and I couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. What do you do when you have to make a decision? This is the essential plot of this book. One woman. Two life choices. Each with different endings. So what would she choose, and what happens when she gets there?

(Audiobook Review)

I received Love Connection in a giveaway and found it to be a fun romantic comedy that makes you wonder about the choices you would make to find happiness.

The story deals with Gemma Dawson, who is an attorney from London. She sits at a Chicago airport bar, holding two tickets while contemplating if she should fly to her best friend’s wedding as the maid of honor or crash her ex-boyfriend’s wedding in California. After a few drinks, she eavesdrops on another heartbroken woman

OMG! Take Sliding Doors wrap it in a book and make it ten times better and more hilarious and you'll end up with Love Connection. POW!

I LOVED this book. The two parallel stories were so original and even when events overlapped it was amazing how the author gave it nuances to make each chapter unique. I couldn't put this book down! I wanted to know what would happen and I kept guessing wrong, I was hooked until the very end. If I could give it ten stars I would...

Flawless,Enthralling,Irresistible!!!Loved it!

I don't know how to express how perfect was this book without reveal too much ruining your reading experience.

I was afraid that the plot would have been too intricate to follow and enjoy but I was so WRONG because the author made an amazing job.
Everything was perfectly developped, all the characters were well thought and I loved how things turned out in the end.

I can't wait to read Camilla Isley next novel.

Like reading Sliding Doors but without the drama and with a HEA
This book made me swoon... I don't know if you have a "one that got away" in your life, but this book will shake you with emotions (and humor too) and make you question everything that ever happened since you let go.

Yay, I found my perfectly cute February read. I loved the two parallel story lines and the 'what-ifs'. Sweet, no drama, and likable characters.

I absolutely loved this book. What I love most about Camilla Isley, is that she has this ability to not only write a story you can not put down. But she is able to add the romance , the comedy , and the drama is a "clean" way.

This book has so many great elements. One of those elements is the dynamic between two BFF Amelia and Gemma. They really are my favorite. The way these two stand by each other, love each other and is there through good and bad is AMAZING. It is one of my favorite BFF duos

Cute book and interesting concept with the whole "how would one choice affect your life?" The characters were rather one-dimensional though, and I kind of wish that it didn't have the whole "soul mates" theme going on with the ending being the same for either choice. I mean, I get the "it was meant to be" thing, but it just puts a damper to the fact that the choice was supposed to alter her life, since it's basically saying that not much would have changed after all.

This book left me all warm and fuzzy. It's the perfect mix of young love, new love... regrets and rediscoveries... with an amazing friendship on the side and an incredibly cute rescue kitty... all told in a super original writing format (with 2 parallel stories is like reading Sliding Doors but no one dies of course and there's a happily ever after in both finales)

Ok guys, I just finished this book and am sorting through amazing emotions like joy. There's sadness, happiness, laughing and crying at the same time.

I was intrigued starting at chapter 2 when I realized that you see both option she could choose. I felt embarrassed with Gemma as she had to cancel a wedding, looking like hell, after riding on a hay/chicken transporter. Laughed my ass off at her inner conversations with herself and had a hard time to decide which way would be my choice. Once I lik

Have you ever been at a crossroad and wondered which path to take? Camilla Isley explores this dilemma in The Love Connection. It’s quite an interesting concept to write side by side stories in the same novel.
Gemma, the main character, has two airline tickets in her possession – one will take her to her best friend’s wedding and the other to her ex-boyfriend’s wedding, a man she never stopped loving. In one story, she chooses to attend her friend’s wedding in order to stop her from marrying a p

This is the first of three stories by this author that I received an ARC through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I was in the mood for swoon-worthy chick lit and this seemed to fit the bill. The plot concept was intriguing. A woman has 2 plane tickets - one to her best friend’s wedding and another to her ex-boyfriend/soul mate’s wedding - and must choose which road to go down. Does she choose loyalty to her friend or does she crash her exe’s wedding to tell him her true feelings befo ...more

Stormi originally read this for the blog and rated it 5 Boundless stars.  When Isley approached us about reviewing the audiobook I decided to take it since Stormi doesn’t like audiobooks and I love them.

This story is reminiscent of the Gwyneth Paltrow movie Sliding doors.  There are two choices that happen and two different stories with the same character that take place in different timeline/dimension.  The stories are sweet, clean and sappy.  Much like a Julia Roberts romantic comedy, Runaway

Wow!! Camilla Isley keeps suprising me with her amazing writting!

At first I got a little confused but then I understood that there were to paths that were different for the decision took in one moment. One moment, one decision and it could change our lifes forever! But I got surprised with the end and I loved it, I love how Gemma and Jake's lives were destined to be together.

Wow this book was so original---

Gemma is at the airport she must decide if she wants to crash her ex's wedding or be made of honor for her BBF as she planned...

In chapter one she makes a choice... In chapter two a plane arrives on time instead of being delayed as in chapter one and Gemma has a chance encounter that makes her take the opposite choice!

After that, is one chapter of each storylines. It was amazing. I loved them both (a little Vampire Diaries of me). I was never confused and I ad

Be maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding or crash her ex’s?

This is a romantic comedy that takes the "what if?" to the next level.
It's the story of Gemma, Jake, Amelia and Richard. Two couples, two storylines, two decisions and how many different outcomes?

This is about love, friendship, life choices, and the search for happiness. It's a fun

This is the first book in the series, they can all be read as a standalone though. I found Camilla has a way that she manages to connect with her readers and her writing is really thought out. In this story we meet Gemma and the chapters switch from her going to her best mate and also her going to her ex. I loved getting to know the characters and look forward to the next instalment.

I though this was such a cute story. I like how it was set up with the two alternate ways the story could go. "What if..." is a main theme in this book. The plot is good and I like the characters. This is a very enjoyable quick read.

I loved this book!
Gemma has a choice to make. Two weddings in one day, she can either go to her best friend's wedding and be maid of honor or crash her first loves wedding and steal the groom.
This story takes us through both scenarios. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't predict the ending which I loved! I would highly recommend this book
