I adored this second installment in the Maple Run series!
I didn't like Delaney very much in the first book Buying Love, but I loved her in this book, I could relate to Delaney in so many ways, primarily that I too often allow fear rather than trust in God to rule my life! Delaney's faith journey was so real, it touched my heart and I will definitely be rereading this story in the future, I made so many kindle highlights that I can definitely see myself turning to them on the days when I need en ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet, gentle romance about two broken people finding love when and where they least expected it. Delightful!

Solidly written contemporary romance that addresses survivor's guilt and touches on grief and depression as well.
What I loved most was that the two main characters were of different races even though the book was not specifically addressing racism as an issue. I would love to read more books like this. I have quite a few friends as well as family members who have mixed-race marriages, and I would love to see it be more mainstream in fiction as well. ...more

I enjoyed the contemporary novel set in Maple Run, Virginia. After reading Buying Love, I knew that the sequel would be as inviting. The journey with Delaney and Luke opens wounds and heartache through shared experiences of the heart.

Cute story and an easy read. Glad I got to read it over the Fourth of July weekend since it has a yummy serviceman in it. ;)

Finding Love did not disappoint. This book surprised me because I really thought it would be even better than the first, but I had no idea how much! And that fact? THAT is what delighted me.
What I liked:
First off, the characterization in this book—delightful. Delaney Jones and Luke Robinson are neither too perfect or excessively flawed. Finding Love has so many things going for it. It features a diverse cast of characters and an interracial romance, something seen far too infrequently in Christian fiction. (This is improving with the rise of indie publishing, but I would love to see more diversity in traditional Christian publishing, as well.) It also deals with what it means to truly trust the Lord, drawing from Proverbs 3:5-6. Delaney's journey to trusting the Lord for her future following tragedy is something we all deal wit

I was so glad to be back in Maple Run to see Delaney's story. First, I have to tell you that if you are hungry, probably not a good idea to read this unless you have a snack. The book describes some great food that made my mouth water! And who knew you could use maple syrup with so many things?! I'm thinking maybe there should be a Maple Run cookbook (hint, hint Toni!).

The characters in Finding Love are diverse and layered with Delaney and Luke each bringing emotional baggage to the table. After the death of Delaney’s husband Parker, her life for all intents and purposes stopped too. So did Luke’s. Delaney, because she doesn’t know how to go on without Parker. Luke, because he feels responsible for Parker’s death. The meeting of their hearts results in a swoonworthy romance, yes, but also some soul-searching that all of us can apply to our own lives too.

This book is the second in the Maple Run series. You can easily read this book even if you have not read the first in the series but the first is a good book so if you have the time go ahead and read it and then read Finding Love. This book will not leave you disappointed. I love love love Finding Love , well actually I love the Maple Run series and look forward to hopefully more to come . Toni writes the sweetest romances with enough conflict thrown in to make it interesting. This one did not disappoint! Loved it!
Finding Love effectively explores themes of forgiveness, God's mercy, and his plans for people's lives while covering topics of interracial relationships, military service, and widowhood. I loved the main characters, Luke and Delaney, and especially enjoyed the close relationship Delaney had with her brother. A beautiful story of love!
Delaney and Luke were so perfect for one another. I felt like I was watching s movie a d it unfolded so beautifully. The twins were so cute and played a big part in this union. I also loved that Dwight, Nina and Mama were part of the storyline. A real testament of faith. Loving the series Toni Shiloh!

This book was even better than Buying Love (book 1 in this series) and I already highly enjoyed that book to start with! Delaney (which is such a pretty name) and Luke have such great chemistry. I loved it and totally could believe they were falling in love. Luke was a total sweetheart and Delaney was such a strong woman, raising two twin boys after the death of her husband.

I really enjoyed this book. I found Delaney to be authentic and I warmed to her much more quickly than many heroines.
Luke is a man for any woman to swoon over. I love the family dynamic and the problems that kept lining up to keep these two apart. Despite reading dozens of romance novels, I didn't see the last two twists.

"Finding Love" by Toni Shiloh is the second book in the "The Maple Run Series " and I am going to say at the start "I hope there are more books coming in this series".
If you have read "Buying Love" or even if you haven't, you will enjoy "Finding Love" because you get to meet or visit with the same characters plus meet Luke and Micah.

Another sweet-but-not-too-sweet story from Toni Shiloh. This sequel to Buying Love continues the story of the family who founded the Maple Pit restaurant. Finding Love share the story of the young widowed mother, Delaney and the unlikely way that love is rekindled in her lonely but leery heart.

Finding Love focuses on new beginnings and second chances. With God, we can all have new beginnings. We need to trust Him and His word.
