A quick and light look at art about art. Interesting. As a kind of museum piece itself, this 1978 exhibition catalog from The Whitney reveals just how far these publications progressed since then into hefty and beautiful publications with well-grounded essays.

A fun find at the Milwaukee Art Museum's annual book sale.
