The second installment of Gavin Mazzerelli's swipe dating adventure continues as BT Urruela truly hits the mark with Thirty Days: Part Two. Gavin struggles with depression opening up some self-destructive coping methods. He's been working on restructuring his mental game and learning to appreciate life again. His good friend Bobby challenges him to thirty days of swipe dating to get him back out and enjoying life again. The struggling writer is desperate for money and inspiration making this a w ...more

~~~~~~~Gavin is a lot like me..... An over thinker, a pessimist who wants the good things but doesn't think it will happen.
Another Excellent installment in Gavin's life.
This book ended on a cliff hanger and I really can't wait to find out how Gavin will deal with the latest revelation. Will everything be alright ? . Time will tell.
Many readers will tell you they do not like cliffhangers, and while they are not my favorite, BT Urruela gave readers fair warning that there would be one in Thirty Days: Part One, and I have to say, it’s been so very worth the wait for Part Two to arrive.
As we reconnect with Gavin I was feeling so good about him and where things were going, even after the awkwardness that ended part one and began part two. He seemed to be heading on a new path – a brighter path, and I was happy for him. He seem
Thank you BT for an ARC of this Novella! I was so glad to finally get part two after reading the first one. You do need to read Thirty Days Part One before this one.
This is a quick read and its so good. I was glad to get more Gavin. This continues right were part one left us. There is one part that had me laughing so hard. If put in the situation it would probably not be so funny but it was epic!
Gavin continues the challenge of 30 dates in 30 days. He feel a connection to a couple people and o
BUSTED
I'm not sure where to start!!! The way him and Bobby banter back and forth is hilarious. How sweet was the jazz place where Gavin included Sami. Or the fact he met up with Joanne! How about where I just lost my breath when he got busted. Oh BT BT it's going to be a long night.
You never know how dating will go, we all have our druthers over it and often wonder if it's all worth it. Of course it is, we all need to socialize in some sort of setting, get out of our heads and see what's out there. You just never know when you might meet that one person that will intrigue you just enough to push you past the first date awkward moments. Gavin is definitely not without his issues, but they aren't really dating issue per say, more of a hey I'm not good enough in my head issue ...more
Loved It!!
Ok ya'll, as the title states this novella is the 2nd in a series, meaning you have to read the first book to know what's going on. Believe me though, you will not be disappointed. However, just because it is a quick read does not mean that you will not run a gamut of emotions, from the blossoming of true infatuation and all the tugging on the heartstrings that entails, to the introspection of the human psyche as Gavin delves into what makes him tick, to the humor that can come from a
Like the first book this one is very well written, however the more I get to know Gavin the less I like him. For someone that struggles with their own demons and issues he seems to be lacking empathy for the struggles of others. Example: his meet up with Joanne. He wants her to know what a horrible person she is for cheating on him, completely ignoring her side of things. I've dated an addict who chose his addiction over our relationship and I've been cheated on, so i can easily see both sides a ...more
What to say about this book.......when authors use a story like this and allow us even a small view into their minds, hearts and soul, you sit up and take notice. Gavin's challenge to date 30 women in thirty days begins to take it's toll on his mind and his heart. He begins to learn so much more about himself and we as readers begin to learn so much more about what makes Gavin tick. He finds himself enthralled by not one but two women, but in order to win the challenge he must continue to date r ...more
Usually, I do not like cliffhangers. But BT promised that we wouldn't have to wait long and he kept his word to his readers. I loved Part Two and I am anxiously awaiting Part Three!! BT's writing has a wonderful flow to it and I am hooked every single time to the story he's giving me.
In Part Two, we are still following Gavin's 30 day dating challenge. I don't want to give anything away, so I will just say that Gavin is finding that his heart is pulling for one lady specifically, however another
I interrupted my long TBR to read Part One, and did it again for Part Two. This is not a stand alone book and Part One needs to be read first and just like Part One, this book also ends with a cliff hanger. If cliff hangers are a problem, wait until the third installment comes out.
Gavin's story continues and picks up right from where Part One left off. You still meet a few of the crazies that Gavin encounters during his dates, but this book has more character development as we learn a little mor
Gavin is a week into his SwipeDate challenge. His best friend Bobby challenged him to go on 30 dates in 30 days, he if succeeds Gavin's gets 25k for his trouble. He never dreamed he would actually find one woman that interested him let alone two. As he struggles to complete the challenge and deal with his growing feelings, a blast from the past shows up that could change everything and not necessarily for the better.
I knew going in that Thirty Days: Part One was to end in a cliffhanger, so I accepted it and even agreed with where it left me, ready for the continuation. Even going in to Thirty Days: Part Two, I was expecting another cliffhanger, BUT I wasn't expecting for my mouth to be left hanging open in shock! Great job Mr. Urruela! Can't wait for the next installment of Thirty Days, to see what Gavin does next in his journey of SwipeDate. One thing this has reminded me and I'd wish for all dating female ...more
The dating drama continues....
Gavin is having a bit of a rough time keeping his dates and daily life in order. Even though he meets "the one" he is still unsure about to commit, especially after his ex suddenly returns into his life. He decides to meet with her and is more determined to move on with his life. The story ends in a twist that will push him into making a decision of what he is truly looking for.
Gavin's dating adventures continue...
BT gives us the chance to see more insight into what makes Gavin tick and experience some of his therapy as he deals with his childhood abuse and how it effects him as an adult. Although the book deals with serious subjects it also has lighter moments. Many dates don't turn out the way you plan so with hysterical situations and conversations the story has a good balance of both.
With many more dates to go to complete the challenge Gavin seems drawn to two lad
*this book is #2 in the series (if you didn't read the title)... make sure you read book one first.
BT Urruela describes the sound of vinyl records as different than digital music- Raw. Genuine. Thats the best way to describe this story. Add to that, funny, heart warming, exciting & gut wrenching. As I did with Thirty Days Part 1, I laughed, smiled cheered and screamed (in my head since others were around, but it was tough to contain!). *There is another cliff hanger ending, but I'll forgive
I couldn't put this down! in the next installment of Calvin's story we find him continuing with the challenge thrown down by his friend Bobby - 30 dates in 30 days. But, emerging feelings for Sami, his past intruding his present, Gavin tries to hold it all together. But, will one indecision cost him his possible future? I love these characters. I couldn't wait for this second book to come out, since the awesome cliffhanger in book one. This swipe date story is so realistic and refreshing, thank god it continues! Gavin now has got himself in the exact place he didn't want to be with Sami, not having told her about the 30 dates in 30 days bet he agreed to. What will happen next? Can't wait to find out, BT has given this book all the feels, and leaving us wanting more, a must read realistic look at internet dating, can't wait for book 3!
Great second book in a trilogy
This is the second in the Swipe Date trilogy. In this book Gavin continues on his thirty dates as he tries to navigate through his creative block with the help of drugs and alcohol. Bad dates, a visit with his ex and his struggles with writing has him questioning if he'll survive these dates. After meeting Sami, a woman who he clicks with he's not sure his heart is in it to go on to the next date. Great humor, engaging characters and Gavin's internal emotional war m
This book is the second in this trilogy and these books are not standalone, so they must be read in order.
Gavin's story is getting better all the time. BT Urruela's writing style is so relatable and he is masterful at making you fall in love with his characters, and their many flaws. Gavin's mental and emotional wounds are healing, and he is on the precipice of a new lease on life, if he can manage not to screw it up. This book gave me a full range of emotions and I can't wait for book three to
Gavin is continuing his Swipe Date challenge, but finds himself making a connection with one of them. It was nice to watch Gavin develop some feelings for someone when he didn't think he could. I am loving his journey to fight his demons. This book had me laughing quiet a bit!! I really love the relationship between Gavin and Bobby, everyone needs that one friend they can count on in their life. The ending to this part was epic and I can't wait to see where BT takes Gavin next.
BT Urruela has done it again!! I am absolutely loving this series and I cannot turn the pages quick enough to see what is coming next.
Gavin and his SwipeDate experiences have me, laughing out loud, cringing and thinking how downright rude some dates can be......his connection with Sami has my heart happy.....but it's his journey as a whole that has me smiling big.......I am super excited to see what comes next.
Love this author!
BT is a genius. His characters are real and he makes the words seem effortlessly written.
Gavin is making strides in his challenge. Yet, he's found happiness with one woman, Sami. Will he be honest with her or ride out the remaining 30 days? Can he share his personal life with her and still forge on with others? Will the challenge backfire?
An outstanding read with a cliffhanger that's driving me crazy until book 3 is released. A. MUST. READ.
Amazing read
Read all 3 parts. It's so worth it. BT does an amazing job creating real characters and showing the full range of emotions surrounding someone with depression and PTSD. If you've ever wondered what the experience was like or wanted to know if there was a light at the end of the tunnel, read Gavin's story.
I loved this one! I love following Gavin's journey into the dating world and getting his take on what he finds. It also reveals more of a personal side of the main character as well as his relationship with his family. But, all is not wine and roses as we find in the second cliff hanger of this series. Can't wait for the final installment to see how this gets resolved! Good writing and dialogue.
Yes, you need this book.
I love this author, and I really like Gavin's story. It definitely not the average boy meets girl. I was just really starting to root for someone, and then. ..ugh. Not to mention the cliffhanger at the end. Anxiously awaiting Part three! Thirty days are almost up, I wonder if Gavin can a make it through.
Part 2 picks up right where part 1 left us hanging. It builds well on Gavin's swipe dating story while he starts to develop feelings for a special someone. We see more into Gavin's struggle with self hate and depression. It is a great continuation of part 1 but be warned at the end you may want to throw your Kindle!! I can't wait for Part 3!!
SwipeDate Fun
I loved following Gavin on his SwipeDate escapades. Although this book often had me laughing, there were also moments that tugged at my heart. Gavin has been through so much. Can't wait for Part Three.
