New books in 2009 include "How to Spell the Sound of Everything" written with Sheila E. Since 1991, he has made his home at Dreamtime Village, a hypermedia / permaculture village project, located in the driftless bioregion of southwestern Wisconsin. And devotes much time to creating edible wilderness indoors & out, growing such things as figs, citrus, cherries, grapes & chestnuts. 1998 marked the creation of THE DRIFTLESS GROTTO OF WEST LIMA, a permanent public grotto/park/installation which when finished will feature a bird-operated time machine in a 25 ft blue glass tower.

Another personal favorite from Miekal And & Xexoxial Editions that involves formal cleverness & fun with words. And's intro on the packaging's j-card:
"sqwording the future
The first edition of INTROGIC ENCLODIACY was created in 1983 & was intended to be a set of "flashcards" for the neologisms in my book KNOWLEDGE SWIRLING MAN TELLS SLOW STORIES. At that time I included only the words on the cards because I had yet to experience definitions for them. Now in 1989 after living with the book & such words I have written mental responses to each word, both assosicative & otherwise. But definitions are temporary, & redefinition by usage is entirely possible. The neologisms are words are sounds which are points of information (or meditation) which lead the user beyond words & concrete meaning."
An example of one of the words:
"ilogosty
1. Oath for the laughing bible. 2. Of this people the language used and stood by. 3. The seasonal desire to retract forms of previously corrolated logic & replace with dreams & imaginations that are risky & untested. [A cutup of familiar terminology.]"
