“I left England because you told me I wasn’t good enough for you…”

But now Julian Ashford is back, although he is disgraced and one step away from a cell in Newgate Prison. At least, that is what his so-called family, who reside in Halton Hall believe.

Lies of Gold is an absolute riveting, exciting, edge of your seat entertaining read from beginning to end. Every element was captured in this story. The many twists and turns kept me reading page after page and wondering "who dunnit". It was difficult to put this book down for a moment. What Lies of God delivered was a masterfully written regency murder mystery. Oh, and don't let me forget the romance as it was hot. "Book Hangover"

Outstanding Historical fiction

This book was hard to put down. Excellent character development and accurate setting details. The plot was easy to follow, but not simplistic. Would recommend this book to mystery buffs, and those who like historical novels. I look forward to reading other books by this author.

I didn't want the book to end I got so wrapped up in the characters I wanted more time with them! To me that is the definition of a fantastic book!
