Definite 'Logan' vibes in the best possible way and the ending had me pulling the book as close to my face as it could get. Refreshing change of scenery instead of Europe that brought something new to the story.
Worked perfect as a companion to Dracula: Last Voyage of the Demeter or as a stand alone.

So my previous review is actually from my partner who wanted to grant Sean a review worth of his book.

I finally got around to reading it and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it and was so engrossed by the storyline that I finished it in 45 minutes.

I was transported to a different world and could envision myself on the ship with the Captain and Mary. For such a short story, I was still emotionally involved and found myself wishing for some sort of happy ending for

Listened to the audiobook on Sanspants Radio via Movie Maintenance Presents. Following up from the Dracula: Voyage of the Demeter story/audio drama/play - together they make a fantastic story. The characters are well realised. It’s a must read/listen.
