Bite-sized story breaks for readers on the go!

This is an amazing collection of 36 short but poignant essays on various topics. Each one is just a couple pages or so, but they are so well-written that each is moving and thought-provoking in its own way. Too many to discuss each one in this review, but I will list my top three favorites:

Immortalized in Ink is a sweet essay about the enduring value of printed books; it's a wonderful tribute that will be appreciated by all book lovers.

Winter's Refuge dramatizes the deep feelings of family relat

I really enjoyed the writing style, and it was really easy to quickly get lost in each "story." I really wouldn't consider these short stories though. They're more like concepts for stories that have yet to be finished. There were quite a few that I wish were finished because I would love to know what happens next, especially Exceptional. The idea of all these young women marching off into the sea and her being pulled under, but being home was fascinating. I could see that idea being a whole nov ...more

Immortalized in Ink by Aria Glazki is a collection of 36 short stories and flash fiction pieces.

The collection begins with the centre piece and 10-star opening story "Immortalized in Ink". I've read it before in Scripting Changes' anthology Beyond the Words and adored it. I still loved it and can't get enough of it.

"They say the pages give you lives – open the cover and step through. Escape into the words and find your solace, or adventure. Every you never knew you needed exists within a book

Aria Glazki's first kiss technically came from a bear cub. Though no fairytale transformation followed, she still believes magic can happen when the right people come together—if they don’t get in their own way, that is. So now Aria writes heartfelt romances about relatable people overcoming real-world obstacles to build love that lasts.
