The Rancher and the City Girl is the very first book I’ve ever read by Joya Ryan. I have to admit that it’s the cover that drew my attention at first. It’s pretty widely known that I can’t resist a sexy cowboy story and when combined with a cover like this, how could I resist. Being a new to me author, I was apprehensive but oh my gosh, I fell in love with this one.

Single dad raising his baby girl with the help of his two cowboy friends. Did I mention that all three men are sexy AF and looks good in a pair of Wrangler jeans? Ummm, do I have your attention now because in Joya Ryan’s newest release, The Rancher and the City Girl, she has me eager in finding and wrangling myself a cowboy.

Cute, fast read. 3rd Person POV.
I got this on impulse. I enjoy the western theme: In this case: Wyoming present day.
It was a sorta Full House on the Wyoming prairie story. Tripp is a single dad raising his 6 y/o daughter Gracie. Tripp's friends Chase & Bo (the manho wacky one) live with them & help raise Gracie and on yeah- work the ranch.
Charlotte comes to stay next door at her Grammy's house for the summer.
Charlotte & Tripp's meeting was hot & very sudden- insta lust. (Did

‘Tripp was treading dangerous water with his daughter’s heart. And he’d never gamble with that.’

We’ve just read another new to us Author and we loved every single minute of The Rancher and the City Girl by Joya Ryan. As always we pick our next read on what kind of reading mood we’re in and this time it was wanting a sweet, fun and sexy standalone without too much drama, and that is exactly what we got. It was fabulous. So well written, so addictive and so swoon worthy! It was s

What a sweet, hot, steamy read! I absolutely loved this book.

Tripp’s wife left him when their daughter was just a baby and he’s been determined to never let another woman come into his life. They will only leave again and he refuses to expose Gracie to that kind of pain. When he has a one night stand with Charlotte he never expects to see her again. Of course if he didn’t, the story would end there, but he does and each time they meet the sparks fly and their connection grows stronger.

"The Rancher and The City Girl" is Tripp and Charlotte's story.
Tripp is a divorcee who stays at his ranch with his daughter Gracie and two friends. He occasionally has girlfriends, but one day he comes across Charlotte- a city girl on the road, who blows him away. They give into their attraction and have a "one night stand".
Next day he realizes Charlotte is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gram, his neighbor and initial avoidance gives into sweet passion.
I really enjoyed this story, especially how prot

So fun, sweet, and sexy!
This was a charming, fast paced read that had a lot of heart and the perfect amount of heat. Loved it!

Tripp and Charlotte were so great. I loved them meeting and connecting. Awesome chemistry. As things unfold, there is great animosity and banter that's super entertaining between the two. I loved watching that heat and need grow between them. Charlotte was stubborn and feisty and I liked her fire. She was a bit lost in life and was searching for her place. Tripp

This is the story of . . .
Single dad Tripp doesn't do relationships, for one, he doesn't want to expose his daughter to someone who isn't willing to stick around and to be honest, he isn't willing to risk his heart again. If Gracie's own mom could so easily walk away whats to keep a stranger from doing the same?

But all his reasons and endless excuses for staying away from tempting city girl Charlie fly right out the window every time they find themselves together. Going in to their physical a

I think I'm becoming a fan of cowboys! This is a first read of Joya Ryan for me and I like her writing style. This was a shorter read but a perfect length for the story.

I was worried I wasn't going to like Charlotte. She's a city girl heading to the country to help her grandma's farm while she recovers from ankle surgery. Usually a city girl attempting farm work is disastrous. I really liked that the author gave her a backbone to learn the work and accomplish it successfully. Her use of YouTube

Funny, sexy romance.

Charlotte Gram builds websites in L.A., until her grandmother, Wilma Gram, has ankle surgery and needs help with her small farm in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Tripp Montgomery lives on the farm next to Wilma Gram with his two brothers and his six year old daughter Gracie.

On a visit into town Tripp sees a beautiful woman kicking seven bells out of her car and cursing like a trooper, after helping her with her overheating problem (pnarr pnarr) he gets Charlotte to agree to a date. This

The Rancher and the City Girl is the first book I've ever read by Joya Ryan and I was not disappointed. I was hooked from the very beginning and could not stop reading it.

Charlotte and Tripp may have thought that their night together was only a one night stand with two people just having fun. But they couldn't have been more wrong. They both might have thought they were both just looking for a no strings attached relationship but the heart wants what the heart wants. It also couldn't hurt that

Charlie is sassy and feisty and boy don't that girl give Tripp a run for his money, “Oo, I’ll be a pain in your ***, all right.”She shoved her hands into his jeans and grabbed his ***, her little nails digging into his flesh. He hissed and effing loved it." I was in love with this book, the sexual chemistry between Tripp and Charlie was off the charts.

I loved The Rancher and the City Girl by Joya Ryan.

This book was just what I was in the mood for, the storyline was engaging, the characters were likable, frustrating and their chemistry was off the charts!!

Charlotte and Reed had me laughing and swooning one minute and wanting to slap them the next lol

For me, Charlotte made this book such a joy to read. I admired her character and her determination to get things done. She wasn't going to let the farm get the better of her.

**I received a copy of The Rancher and the City Girl from Brazen and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

The Rancher and the City Girl by Joya Ryan is such a fantastic book that you'll laugh and feel how hard Charlotte tries to help her Grammy after she has breaks her leg but she knows nothing about helping her with the farm. Thank goodness for You Tube, and gives each chore a good college try before feeling the agony of defeat. But from the first day when she meets her nei

I loved this book! Joya at her best!!
Charlotte (Charlie) goes home to her Grams farm to help out while she recoups from surgery. Charlie isn't really ready for all the work that the farm requires but she's stubborn and strong and she'll do her best. She's already run into Tripp Montgomery once prior to getting to the ranch only to run into him again while out along the fence that separates their properties. She's looking for her Gram's dog.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was a cute story. I liked Charlotte, Charlie as her grandmother called her. She needed to work on her insecurities, however you could not blame her, everyone she ever loved had abandoned her, besides her grandmother. Charlie and Tripp meet on a whim, when her rented car breaks down on her, and it was instant attraction,. They both decide to give in to a one night stand since they both have circumstances that will not allow them to be able to ...more

It's been quite awhile since I read a Joya Ryan book and I picked one heck of a book to start back with. Of course, the minute I saw this small town, country, opposites attract book, I knew I had to have it. I pretty much didn't even need to read the blurb to know it was for me. Once I did read the blurb and realized that Tripp was a single dad to boot, I was even more all over it. I would've read this one in one sitting if it wasn't for that pes

My Review:
This story was actually pretty fun. I wasn't sure going into it, but I adore the setup (which means I'm anxiously awaiting the next two books in the series). Grace's mom abandoned her and Tripp when Gracie was just a baby. As a result, his two best friends, Bo and Cash, moved onto his ranch with him to help them. The other integral part of this tiny family was the grandmother who owns the farm next door that kept all the bachelors on track with how to raise a little girl.

This is where

An amazing read!!!!

Out of all the people in the world, this author brings together not only two different people but two people who want nothing to do with relationships. Tripp because he is a single father, raising his daughter with the help of his friends and doesn't want his daughter to become attached to yet another woman who won't be there for her. Charlotte because she wants nothing to do with this country life and has not confidence in herself. The two meet, have an incredible one night

I absolutely adored this book from the beginning to the end. I’m a sucker for so much of what is represented in this book. Tripp is the ultimate book boyfriend, sexy, sweet and a doting single father. He’s a little gruff at times because he wants to protect his daughter from getting her heart broken. I get that…even if sometimes I wanted to shake some sense into him. The chemistry between Tripp and Charlotte is instantly combustible. There’s no denying that they were meant for each other, despit ...more

I'm just going to say it...... THIS WAS SHORT.... almost too short to give me that totally satisfied feeling. Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed. I wanted more. The story has depth but it moved so darn fast. Had it slowed down and been a bit more developed, this would have been a total winner for me. While I really enjoyed it, it left me disappointed and feeling there was missing something. I think this one was a novella parading as a full book.

Tripp Montgomery learned a long time ago that you can't trust a woman with your heart, the hard way of course, he thought he had it all and then the woman he loved walked away and left him to raise their daughter alone. If it wasn't hard enough for him to lose her, he is certain it was a lot harder for his daughter, sure he can provide her with everything she needs, but there is one thing he can't bring into the equation, a womanly touch. And while Tripp knows every little girl needs a mama to t ...more

5 SEXY RANCHER STARS!! This is a perfect weekend read to escape a hard week for a couple of hours. Tripp is a sexy Rancher raising his daughter alone and Charlotte is a beautiful city girl helping her Grammy for the summer after her surgery. These two burn the pages up with their chemistry and sexy times together. As always Joya Ryan has given us romance readers to perfect book to escape in. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book from publisher via NetGalley.

Put those city slickers away. Or better yet, trade them in for some cowboy boots. The Rancher and the City Girl will turn you into a country folk before the story ends.

Tripp and Charlotte are sexy as they are temperamental. From start to finish, the book is charged with emotions. You're heart will tug for Tripp, but the strings will pull for Charlotte. Although their connection is instant, the chemistry is undeniable. A couple you will connect with and love immediately.
