More than anything, Rosie wants a puppy. Her dreams come true when her dad arrives home with a blue heeler pup. But Pepsi Parsons isn't the most well-behaved dog. She's the kind of dog that gets tangled up in sausages and goes on adventures down the street, at midnight! So it's no surprise that Rosie's no-nonsense mum isn't so sure that Pepsi Parsons is a good addition to the Parsons family.

Sandi Parsons has written an entertaining tale about a young girl who enjoys the peculiarities and escapa

Dave’s daughter, Rosie, does her best to train Pepsi, as the dog gets into all manner of mischief, while costing money in food, vet bills and repairs. The Parsons family discovers many things about Pepsi, such as her fears of straw brooms and thunder storms, but it is not until heartbreak hits the Parsons household that Pepsi shows what she is ...more

If you are a dog lover (like me) you will love meeting Pepsi and her new family. This is certainly a well named book, as Pepsi creates one problem after another. Pepsi has unending energy, as she bounces through the book causing mayhem in and outside the house and down the street. My favourite character is Granny. She is such a laugh. I hope there will be another follow on book as Granny and Pepsi have so much potential. I can imagine they could be quite a dynamic duo in various settings.

Shelves: giveaway
I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway. And I'm so happy I did!

This book is well paced and entertaining. I liked the story and enjoyed the humour. The illustrations were great too.

I'd recommend this for kids, but it's not over-simplified so adults will enjoy it also.
