I read an early draft of this book. It was good. It has since gone through both line edits and copy edits. It is now excellent.

I really liked the premise and I found the setting atmospheric and intriguing. The MC was eminently likable, the writing taut and suspenseful. All in all, this is an entertaining read.

It’s now past 2am, I’ve got to get up early tomorrow but I don’t regret one minute staying up to finish this. Though I didn’t exactly get a choice since I couldn’t seem to be able to put it down.

The best book I’ve read this year, and I’ve had some good ones.

Recently, I had the opportunity to read Killing November through an ARC tour. With several months to go, I look forward to reading this book again when it is released in March of 2019, as well as adding it to my personal collection.

Many of you who already know me likely know that Adriana Mather is one of my favorite authors. Adriana has a way of writing her books in which her characters are so easy to picture. The voice she gives them and the settings she illustrates with her words truly make e

So once again Adriana has done it. I’ve cried, I’ve laughed and I’m left wanting more. Murder, weapons, poisons and everything is deathly. I loved every single moment of it.This is another masterpiece and I’m ready to reread it, the plot, the twists and turns kept me doubting my own detective skills and once everything is laid out on the table all the pieces come together in a beautiful way and you’re left mouth open and crying. I found myself frustrated with November and at times had to put the ...more

From the medieval setting to gothic decor, once November arrived at International Academy Absonditi I was hooked.
I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters especially Ash.
Adriana has created a secret world that sucks you in and you can not wait to turn the page to find out where it will take you next.
I cannot wait for the next book to come out to see where the series take us!

I've been a huge fan of Adriana's ever since I first picked up HOW TO HANG A WITCH and it's sequel HAUNTING THE DEEP, but she has stepped up her game like nobodies business. KILLING NOVEMBER is by far the most unique and entertaining book I have ever read. This gave me everything I wanted and so much more. Does anyone remember the film from the early 2000's called "The Skulls" starring Joshua Jackson and Paul Walker? Just Me? Cool. It could be the whole Secret Society vibes that keeps me thinkin ...more

What can I say? After reading How To Hang A Witch and Haunting The Deep, I didn't think that Adriana Mather could capture my attention again. Boy was I wrong! I wasn't sure what to expect with Killing November..and let me say that if you're expecting something similar to How To Hang A Witch you won't get it..but as I continued reading, I was captivated. The storyline has so many levels, twists and turns! I found myself reading until 2 am, because I just couldn't put it down. Reader be aware..not ...more

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to read this early. I didn't know much about the premise beforehand...I chose to go in blind. I have read Adrianas previous works and loved them so I had no doubt I'd love this as well...and I was not wrong! This books caught and kept my attention from the get go, it was the fastest I have completed a book the whole year (Just over a day and a half)!

Just like with Adriana's previous books, How to Hang a Witch and Haunting the Deep, I was sucked right in to a different world with lots of mystery. From mysterious murders, to great friendships and a crazy plot twists, this book is one I would love to read again. I love that Adriana incorporates that "real life" feel into her fictional books. I cannot wait to read more books written by her.

    Wow!! Adriana killed it again!

Killing November sucked me right in from page one! Action, adventure, danger, murder, poison and suspense! Oh My! I love that November stays true to who she is throughout the story. Adriana has a wonderful ability of walking the fine line between reality and fiction, intertwining them so well that it leaves one to imagine how very real this story could be. Instantly reminded me of my love for The Hunger Games and The Divergent Series. Killing November kept my brain

WOW! This book was something else. Adriana Mather really blew me away once again. I absolutely loved "How to Hang A Witch" and "Haunting The Deep", they were two books in a series about Samantha Mather and I 100% recommend reading those if you haven't already!! But "Killing November" gave me a totally new feeling while reading it, it was suspenseful and captivating while still keeping the elements of teenage life, family, and extraordinary storytelling by Adriana. This book sucked me on from the first page. It took me less than a day to read. I am left with so many thoughts and emotions and simply wanting more. I feel like I want to go to assassian school too.

November is a fun loving and easy going 17 year old who has been thrown into a unknown world of politics, assassians, and manipulators. Who can she trust? Who is out for blood? Adriana keeps you guessing until the very last page.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and the publisher of Killing November. I really enjoyed it. The novel has a little something for everyone. Desperate teenagers, death, assassins, and teen drama! The novel is fun, adventurous, and has great characters that you root for throughout the book. Defiantly, a must read for young adult fans.

Adriana has outdone herself, and I didn’t even think that was possible! In this book you will become attached to characters, and feel what they feel. Pain, strength, sadness, and happiness. It pulls you in immediately, and you never want to come back out again.
I highly encourage you to let yourself fall into this book over and over, as each time you will read it you will feel something different. Enjoy.

Spies , elite soldiers, secrets, entitlement, those are just the tip of the iceberg when you read this book. Adriana Mather spins another story with historical facts only this time there is nothing paranormal about this tale. She took a chance and gambled with her reading audience who are mainly I would say paranormal YA romance enthusiasts. Although I'm not a typical spy slow burn romance type of girl this book had me sucked in by the second chapter.

Absolutely captivating! Adriana Mather is a true genius. Killing November had such a clever plot. The main character November not only had to prove her worth at an elite boarding school, but she had to fight for her life every step of the way. Being an overtly trustful person in a school full of spies and assassins had its ups and downs. But even the most closed off students couldnt resist her charm. This

This book kept me up until 3am! It only took as long as it did to read, because I had to work between readings. The plot is full of suspense and keeps you guessing. You find yourself immersed in the lives of the characters and it’s easy to forget that you don’t actually know them. You laugh, cry and get angry right alongside them and when it’s over, you can’t wait for more. I’d love to go to school with this group!

I don’t read a lot of YA books. I’m an old guy. I like old guy stuff. And I like Adriana Mather’s stuff! I especially liked this book. This is a book you don’t have to be a teenage girl to enjoy. I mean, they’ll enjoy it too, undoubtedly, but it isn’t exclusively for them.

Yes, it’s a YA book, but it’s not a collection of emotional fluff. Mather put some research into this. There is substance here. The story line developes from multiple angles without losing continuity. It’s entertaining. It’s
