Following the enormously successful Who's in Charge Here? 1984, Gardner's newest and funniest photo caption book depicts the absurdities of the most outrageous, blundering, brassiest bunch of politicos ever--the 1988 Presidential candidates. To be featured on Johnny Carson's "The Tonight Show".

I enjoyed perusing this book in the context of the 2008 elections.

In one photo, Dick Gephardt gets a speech bubble that says, "All right, turn the wheel, Vanna."

In another photo, Gephardt says, "No, I was not on Happy Days."

Was this a running joke in the 1988 Democratic primaries? That Dick Gephardt looked like Pat Sajak, Ron Howard, and other people more famous than Dick Gephardt?
