I liked the heroine in this one - the hero took a bit to warm up to. And I felt like the reader is put in their story at the beginning super fast....took me a while to understand what was happening. Review coming

I loved this story so much I read it twice! You know those books? The ones where you get to the end, but you can't say goodbye to the characters? You wish you'd read it more slowly the first time, so you could bask in the banter, sizzle in the chemistry, ugly-cry during the dark moments and then turn around and cry happy tears at the HEA? But you couldn't slow down, because you were so driven to find out HOW Daisy & Zan were ever going to get there given their feuding families, the cut-throa ...more
I loved this book! I could not put it down. Yelled at my kindle a few times like Zan could really hear me. This book has it all and more.
You read the blurb, in a nutshell Daisy and her two sisters inherit their father's hotel chain. The Carters and The Gillards have a long standing feud that goes back generations. When Zan (Alexander) and Daisy end up at the same resort each of their companies are bidding on for a weekend of "couples fun" Zan claims Daisy as his teammate, all the while behind th

Loved this rivals to lovers story! I laughed, swooned, sighed, and smiled the whole way through. The banter between Zan and Daisy is some of the best, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Totally recommend this romantic, humorous, adorable read!

OMG what a cracker of a story this one is I couldn’t put it down between cheering Daisy on and wanting to hit Zan at times this one had me turning the pages and forgetting about life altogether as these two journey on a very sexy and steamy romp to one hell of a game of twister and a beautiful HEA.

Daisy Carter and her sisters have been left in charge of the family hotel chain and they are working hard to save the business when Daisy as CEO goes off to St Maarten to bid for a new singles resort o

Sometimes the one meant for you just isn't possible due to generations of accusations. But in the end which will you choose, work or love? Is it possible to have both? Zan and Daisy both have to decide what they can live with for the rest of their lives. Seeing how both these CEO's handle what's thrown at them was fun to read. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC co

Loved this book! Wow - this is a great story! Daisy and Zan are CEO's competing for the same contract that forces each bidder to spend four days at the resort they're trying to buy. Because they've both procrastinated they end up there at the same time and end up partnered together for a series of couples challenges. Despite despising each other, they have to find a way to work together, while also working in opposition, to get through the four days.

This book is at times sweet, at times spicy, w

This book felt a little bit like a book of two halves.  It seemed to me that there was a whole back story that I had missed which led to the premise for this story.  I've checked, and if there is another book, then I can't find it.

As  result, the first part of the book was somewhat disjointed for me.  It did hit its stride after a while, and I found myself warming to both characters and enjoying their back and forth.  But when the ultimate fall out came, without the missing context from a previo

Romeo and Juliet got some stiff competition from Daisy and Zan. Feuding families, business rivals and a match that no one saw coming. Taming the CEO takes it's cues from a classic but decided to lighten the mood. Hayson Manning didn't sugarcoat the odds but spiced up the attraction. Quick, enjoyable tale.

Spontaneity? No. Just no. There's no list for that and Daisy lives by them. Her sister, Rose, on the other hand, decides that has to change and sends Daisy on a adventure, of sorts. Oh boy, and Rose eagerly packed for her? Yeah, Daisy knows she should've seen the warning signs. So, now she's on the way to a resort, four days of challenges for singles on the itinerary, because, as a potential buyer, the owner insists she goes through it all. Daisy can only hope her family's biggest c

Daisy stared at the clothes in her bag and thought she was going to kill her twin sister Rose. Rose had left her a note by her suitcase to be spontaneous with no lists, or rules. Daisy’s twin did not understand her need for rules but Daisy couldn’t live without them. The first thing in the morning Daisy made a list and Daisy didn’t go to bed until everything on the list had been done. This kept Daisy grounded and in control. Daisy was there to keep their company from sinking. Daisy wanted to fin ...more

Rivals to lovers is a newer trope to me, but one that I'm definitely becoming hooked on. When I saw this blurb I thought the book sounded fun, and I did enjoy it overall. This book was a quick, lighter read, even with the rival to lovers aspect of it.

I liked Daisy. I liked her following the rules, and her lists and seeing how flustered she got when those safety nets were taken away from her. I connected to her right away in the book and I symp

Oh my the yumminess of the cover of Taming the CEO by Hayson Manning. I could totally picture Alexander Gillard (Zan). Anyway, this was interesting story, because we have these two families who despise one another thanks to an age old feud. Think Hatfields and the McCoys. So, we Zan and Daisy Carter who are competing to win a resort in San Maarten. Nothing wrong with that, but they have to compete as a couple to see all the benefits the resorts has to offer before they

Zane and Daisy are interesting couple. 1st they are both CEOs, therefore it was hard to figure out who was being tamed. But then I realized that they tamed each other, for different reasons.

Each of them are at a resort that helps couples find love. They are there to survey the resort to acquire for their respective companies. Coupled together, they face the challenges required of the guests. Add a bitter feud between the families

First: I don't like the covers of these books. I chose this book purely based on the author and the blurb. I liked her Bounty Hunter book.

Daisy Carter and Zan Gillard are CEO's of rival hotel chains with a longstanding feud. I loved this story! It had a little bit of everything in it - love, hot sex, beautiful scenery, strong family connections, friendship, betrayal, forgiveness, and second chances.

The connection and chemistry between Zan and Daisy was explosive. I loved their love/hate relationship. They simply couldn't resist one another. Zan's arrogance was a little much at times, but the way Daisy dealt with it was awesome. Zan grows on you as you progress in their story, and actually ends up a man you could roo

I was asked by the author for an honest review.

I liked the premise of Taming the CEO, though I found the actual story to be a little disorienting. One character described another as seeming to have multiple personalities (hot then cold, hot then cold). It seemed to me that both Daisy and Zan behaved that way, to the extent that it prevented me from really getting into the story.

Based on the opening of the book, I found it hard to believe that Daisy and Zan would choose to be partners for the c

Loved it! There was drama, passion, deceit, humour, family rivalry, and hot chemistry between the two main characters. I laughed, blushed, shook my head at times, and could not stop reading. This was a really good book and it's pretty obvious that the brothers will be getting a book as well. I've never read a book by this author before, but I will be checking out her other work. This is an awesome fun, sexy read that shouldn't be missed. The characters are great, the situation hilarious, and the chemistry off the charts! Daisey and Zan can't remember a time when their families haven't been at war with each other. So when they are forced to spend time at a resort they both want to buy for their family's hotel lines they can't believe their luck when they are partnered at a couples retreat. And that's just the beginning of the fun to come!

I highly recommend this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It will definitely help you suspend reality for a while with a new take on an enemies to lovers trope. I thought it was creative and fun. This was my first book by this author, but I will definitely be looking for more by them. This was a quick read and one that I did not want to put down. It had me rooting for the main characters the entire time and left a smile on my face.

Daisy keeps her life organized by making lists for everything. Zan doesn't fit into any of her lists. Zan has a plan to make Daisy admit that her sister tried to sabotage his family's business. And then he plans on taking over her family hotel business. He believes that business can be kept separate from an affair with Daisy. Unfortunately emotions get involved for both of them. I teared up when he broke her heart. Awesome writing can do that every time. ...more

O my word..... O my word..... This is one of the best books I read .....

Really, my heart did not want to stop beating.... Please get this book, the tension and love scenes is out of this world. I loved her books before but really this is fantastic. The place where it plays off is amazing and the challenges is greatly thought out. Not to even start think about the plots and the end :) Please do not stop writing and I will always be in the queue waiting for the next release date.
This turned out to be such a surprising read for me... I really enjoyed it, but then I am such a sucker for the enemies-to-lovers trope!!!
