My Best Friend's Ex
Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my ...more
Girl code: Never get involved with your best friend's ex-boyfriend.
Emma Marks is quite aware of this rule, so when she has no other option but to move in with Tucker Jameson, she goes into the living arrangement as just a friend trying to finish up her nursing degree.
Tucker has the same thoughts, Emma is just a friend. He has no intentions of getting romantically involved with her especially since he's still hung up on his ex, Sadie.
It starts out as a renewal of an old friendship. Innocent to ...more

I mean could there be a more perfect broken man? No...Nope...the answer is No! Tucker is it! Gaawwdd he is the most heartbreakingly soulful human. His kindness and thoughtfulness is amazing. Even when he is being a jerk face you still want to love him, and that is how you know he is a keeper...lol.

I loved this book! Meghan is one of my favourite authors.
Emma is finishing up her nursing degree when she finds out she is being evicted. Whilst out with 2 friends one night she sees an old friend from school who then invites her to live with him.
Tucker is still trying to get over the break-up with who he thought was the love of his life, when he invites Emma to live with him whilst finishing her degree he expects it will just be a grea ...more
This book was everything and more than I expected it to be. I am stuck here for something profound to say, because let’s face it, I am not so good with my words. But all that can come up with is this book was fucking amazing, pardon my french. This book has a bit of everything, anger, he ...more

Every now and then a book character comes along and captures your heart and makes it hard to love anyone else… Makes you forget all the book boyfriends you’ve had before… You know the kind that will makes you have a book hangover for days… Well, that just happened with me and Tucker (yes, it’s an “us”, a “we” now). I just knew there was more to him in Co-Wrecker and I squealed with excitement when I read that he was getting his own book. I was counting down the days until I got this book ...more
I'm not going to get into the plot of this book at all because you need to read it. This book is about personal growth. It's about figuring out who you ARE when you thought you were meant to be someone else. It's about having support in the most unlikely of places, but taking it, loving it, and using it accordingly.
My absolute favorite part of this book was ha ...more
I saw this bad boy float onto my kindle and I didn't hesitate in opening it up and getting lost in Tucker and Emma's story. What can I say about this book without giving things away? Hmmm....
It was funny, cute, hot, a little tear jerking, and more. I often pick characters from other books who I think should get a story. After meeting Tucker in Co-Wrecker, I wanted his story. He surprised me with his character. I thought he would be more of a broody, jerk type. Jus ...more
Tucker and Emma are a match made in fictional heaven. Emma is hilarious and spunky which we didn't see a lot of in Co-Wrecker. I loved seeing that side of her. Tucker is everything. He's my favorite ever and lawd this cover is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. Tucker Jameson making ovaries explode one smirk at a tim ...more

My Best Friend’s Ex by Meghan Quinn is an all new sexy, laugh out loud romantic comedy coming June 1st!
The first thing I have to acknowledge, is that even though this is a standalone, it does tie into Meghan Quinn's previous book, Co-Wrecker. Check out my review and read more about that book. Which I had no idea and found it to be a wonderful surprise. It was fun getting to know all the characters in that book, and I am glad...more
5 "Tucker Jameson is some kind of wonderful" Stars!!!
I have to start off by saying that Tucker Jameson stole my heart. That man you guys, he has a heart of gold. He is compassionate, thoughtful, considerate, loving, and has the most beautiful soul. No, he isn't perfect, I mean, who is? There are things he must work through to finally live to the fullest. But my gosh, he's a special kind a man and I absolutely fell so hard for him.

Let's just take a moment to *bow down* to Meghan Quinn! This book, you guys! I just can't even right now. Seriously, I'm so completely smitten with this one, and while I'm already a huge fan of Quinn's works, My Best Friend's Ex takes the cake, as in, I have a new fave. In my opinion it's her ...more
Reading the title, got me to thinking, what kind of person goes for her best friend’s ex? I mean, I think there is some universal girl code that states no ex’s. Chicks before dicks.. right? Regardless, Meghan proved me wrong and then some.
This story is nothing like I thought it would be. It was soooo fucking great. Before I give my praises to Meghan, let me get to my point on why this story rocks.
The main players:
Logan: Emma’s best guy friend and nursing student/study partner
Adalyn: Em ...more
After reading Co-Wrecker I will be the first to tell you Tucker Jameson wasn’t my favorite dude. Constantly trying to win back Sadie’s heart while downplaying my man Andrew, I was villainizing him with every flirty word he sent Sadie’s way. Get your own chick Tucker! Well, he did exactly that in My Best F ...more
A perfect combination of heat, heart, and laughs, My Best Friend's Ex by Meghan Quinn had me bowled over laughing one second and in tears the next! I know I can never go wrong with Meghan Quinn, but she really did outdo herself with Tucker's story. I thought Andrew was amazing and funny and weirdly charming but Tucker...oh he topped even what I could of imagined. He is probably one of the most unexpected, sexiest, protective, caring, and thoughtful hero I have r ...more
Meghan Quinn writes these characters perfectly. There wasn't one thing I didn't like about each of them. I'm not just talking about the two main ones either. The supporting characters were top notch! Y'all! Racer is the most amazing bff anyone could have!

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch.
