i had the great pleasure of receiving a copy of this book. this was a very intense fast paced really well written book. although it complements the Sydney Rye books, it is a wonderful stand alone that left me wanting to read more. Scott has a wonderful talent for writing a story that you is so easy to get lost in.

Here is Van, who is becoming one of my favorite Sydney Rye KW characters, going headlong into danger to rescue a damsel in distress. This time, he has some very James Bond-sey tech toys, 2 of which he actually name Sirius and Procyon. He is in the thick of recruits for radical Islamists-Daesh from America and from all other parts of the world. Scott Bury's "The Three-Way" is a pleasure to read -- fun and exciting with well-crafted tension throughout the story. The author successfully places the reader in the heart of ISIS-controlled territory and allows us to play along as protagonist Van deals forcefully with one "bad hombre" after another. An easy read in the very best sense of that term.

I received an advance copy of this book and am pleased to provide a review.

Now this is the kind of book I love! Even though it's been awhile since we've seen Van in action he hasn't changed a bit. Still the surfer blonde dude with long hair that does as he pleases, but he packs a strong punch. Never judge a guy by his looks because Van is not what you think. This guy has the most incredible "toys" to fight against ISIS, Daesh, as he goes undercover as a recruit. A magnetic gun and weaponized drones are very creative and powerful. We have the return of a few favorite ch ...more

Scott Bury can't stay in one category.

After a 20-year career in journalism, he turned to writing fiction. "Sam, the Strawb Part," a children's story, came out in 2011, with all the proceeds going to an autism charity. Next was a paranormal short story for grown-ups, "Dark Clouds."

The Bones of the Earth, a historical fantasy, came out in 2012. It was followed in 2013 with One Shade of Red, an eroti
