A Kid's Guide to Costa Rica is an excellent reference book for older children to use to learn about this Central American country. The most outstanding feature is the photographs and graphics in the variety and clarity. The book covers all aspects of life, culture and wildlife in this small Central American country. It is a beautiful country from the pictures in this small reference book. I borrowed a copy from another teacher and used it with my students when we had a visiting child from Costa Rica visit my classroom.
