Rachel is investigating shaking within a mountain when she is pushed and falls, hurting herself in the fall. But Brad is also in the mountain investigating the shaking when he finds Rachel and knows she's his mate. So he brings her back to his home and tends to her. When she's better, they try and figure out what is causing the shaking because once she spots him flying around in dragon form, there's no keeping that secret from her anymore.
But there are other dragon shifters in the area and they aren't friendly. Once they figure out what is causing the shaking, they also find themselves in danger. Brad informs his uncle who is the head of the family what is going on and he is on his way there when Brad and Rachel have to work together in order to get out of the danger they find themselves in. All the while they are getting to know each other and Rachel is learning more and more about dragon shifters.
I loved Rachel but Brad wasn't as easy to get to know. There was just something about his personality that didn't come across as well as Rachel's did. I liked the ending though.

This story is fun, sexy with a touch of danger. It’s definitely worth your time, and I’d not hesitate to recommend this story to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. Rachel and Brad make a fun couple… and Uncle Doug, well he’s something else. *grin* Pick this one up, I believe you’ll enjoy it.

Another fantastic story by Zoe Chant. It was very different and the storyline and characters were great. The description of the lair was so different with lots of imagination. It contains mystery, attempted murder, magic, invasion and love. This is the story of Brad and Rachel set in the Adirondack Mountains.
Rachel is sent to investigate the rumbling on Anders Peak. Easy right, Wrong. First she is pushed of the mountain, sees a dragon flying no way, ends up in a cave with no entrance, Whats a woman to do hunt away out of coarse.
Brad is sent by his Uncle to check out the rumbling which is to close to the hoard. Finds Rachel lying in the snow and rescues her. Much to his joy she is his mate. Now they need to return to his lair to escape the storm.
Will the two find the cause of the rumbling together? Will Rachel believe he is a dragon and her mate? Will her assailant be found and sent to jail?
I enjoyed this story and wish I could give it a higher mark than 5 stars.

I chose this book because I really like paranormal reads, it's a great read and I couldn't put the book down it got better and better page after page where there is paranormal shifters and romantic I no that's it's going to be a good read it's only a quick read do if your wait for a book and not sure about this one then you will not be disappointed it's a good read from the start to the end the main characters go well together there is some sexy parts but not too much the story is well written and I'm glad a purchased it I hadn't read a book yet this author but I'm glad I did I will definitely buy her books again I was not disappointed it's a good read with a happy ever after I'm hoping for a book 2 so I can read about the wedding and maybe some babies. Hot, Sweet and Beautiful!
I love Zoe's Dragon book's.... They're always filled with handsome hot Dragon men who find their beautiful curvy (BBW) mate's, along with action packed adventure. Some people would complain about certain words used or the author's editing, not me..... There's some very awesome author's from other countries, just make up for the gap in language and you'll find an amazing read! I loved that this book was not totally trashy and the love scenes we're written tastefully.
I would recommend this book to all who love Dragon shifter's, curvy women and a HEA! Adults only.... Due to content. 4.5 stars. Thanks for taking the time to read a this review and happy reading!

Get attacked by rogues
Whatever it’s kinda anti climactic I have no idea who rogues are? why they attacked? Just nothing at all? where did the story…. just go? poof. Really unfinished and still managed to drag on,…but tells me absolutely nothing. Whoopi dydippitty do? The guy gets the girl but we already knew and expected that .. so there is no real story here ? None whatsoever you don’t need to read it to know how it ends gesh .. what a waste of my time.

Cute Dragon shifter romance with a little action
This is a nice quick read with some decent action in spots. Both Rachel and Brad are good characters. Uncle Doug made an interesting addition. This story has a fast pace, an upbeat tone, a character oriented storyline with some action and steamy scenes and vivid characters. It is a lot of fun and a great quick escape. If you have not read Zoe Chant, this is a good one with no books following it, at this time. But then I haven't found a bad book by Zoe Chant. Some are lighter reads, like this one, and some deal with more intense issues, but all are great to read. Enjoy! And plan on reading more by her!

Fun story to read
I enjoyed the plot. The action was interesting. I couldn't tell if it was part of a series. If not, it should be. I have enjoyed reading Zoe Chang's books. I have read many of her series and liked them all. With this one though there are multiple mistakes were a sentence was missing a word, the pronouns were mixed up, an extra word, etc. It slows down reading because you have to figure out what the sentence should say. Easy fixes that when made will make it so much better. I do recommend it if you enjoy shifter romance.

A little puerile and rushed
These two were so incredibly childish in speech and behaviour I almost could not finish the book. They were waiting for an adult to show up to fix the problem and then they just left Everything there. What??? Then everything was rushed, the description of the den, the breathtaking mountain location, the lo e and lovemaking, the two misfits and even the why of the break-in. The author took pains to tell us that the whole mountain was shaking and yet no answers were given to anyone. It felt like we were left with a cliffhanger.

Descent story but...
Good premise ...but a lot of explanations everywhere. Felt like there was less story and just explanations of what was going on and why. I wish the bulk of how the world or environment worked was done in the begining, or in one chapter and we could have done more with the connection between the 2. I liked the premise but execution was not the greatest. Saying that i would try this author again. Definitely shows promise.

A very well written and enjoyable book. I love all the changes in his place of residence that she ends up in. Very awesome way to do things. Wish I had a place like that. She sure gets a surprise when she goes out to do what she has planned. And there is so much more to the story. It is fun, exciting, suspenseful and enjoyable to read. I highly recommend it.

The ground is moving but it's not normal.
The nearby college sends a doctorate student out to check on rumbling in the mountains and she ends up getting pushed off the side of a lookout. That is when the Dragon shifter finds her. He was checking on his family hideaway. They both find the problem and find each other. Fun adventure.

I love dragon Shifter books. This one was really good. Rachel was a scientist. She went out to do some researching but got into trouble. Brad who was a dragon shifter rescued Rachel . He realized she was his mate. Well written. Thanks.

Fun with dragons
This was a nice fun read. There were a few problems with pronouns getting switched, so I had to re-read a few sentences.
I feel that there is more to the story of the bad guys, so I look forward to the rest of the series.

It's okay
Disappointed by how the ending felt rushed, a big build up to the bad guys and then poof everything is worked out. Also it feels like your left hanging, like the author was tired of the story and just stuck "and they lived happily ever after!

Rachel and Brad have a cool Shifter/Human relationship. I recently started reading Shifter romances, and I love them. Dragons have been a popular search for me, and this story was great and held my interest from the beginning. I would definitely recommend this for a quick, light read.

Wasn't what I thought it would be. Mountain is having some rumbles and they sent someone to ck it out. The dragon isn't my idea of what one should be. Guess just wasn't happy with the book.
