Bruh like 50% of this is block quotes. It's like an essay trying to reach a page limit in high school.
Or many a word limit. Look at this nonsense: "beware, be aware, do not be unaware" and "Watchmen must beware—be aware. If we are not aware, we are obviously unaware, or ignorant..." (pg. 57)
This book makes me think this religion is toxic. This dad went on a 30 day hunger strike because his daughter went to a non religious college and didn't want to come home for Christmas? That's so dramatic. Besides this, like none of the stories/ examples are believable. If you took religion out of it and retold these stories, people would think you were crazy.
Then there's this: "The papers listed that day, March 4, as the “darkest single day in commercial aviation” with both planes going down—yet our great God was able to protect Gordon!" (pg. 114). So God was able to save Gordon and not the 188 people that died on those planes?
