Might be simple (and therefore "kid friendly"), but not engaging. I also feel there are definitely some controversial things in here I wouldn't want to hit on with students. (Such as why "terrorists" is in quotes. Or when it says Bush was a "fine" president at the time. I think kids would be all over that- dissecting if they agree with fine, the definition of fine...) Not one I would share with students, or even my own kids if I had them.
