I have a passion for lacy designs. But my lingerie business is in trouble. If I don’t find an investor before I return to L.A., I’ll be forced to close my London boutique. The good news is the top fashion magazine wants to feature Kate Golden Lingerie in a double page spread. The bad news—they want me to model my lacy thong.

How can I say no? I care way more about sexy lin

Five Amazing Stars

I was absolutely thrilled to receive the first book, The Londonaire Brothers. Written by one of my most favourite authors, Amanda Aksel. Just such a passionate unbelievable story about the troubles found in finding investment for her upperclass underwear stores. Such an excellent adventure this truly is!!

Kate Golden had always her dreams out the items she sold in her store. They were all simply delicious, exciting and sensationally gorgeous. She

This is my first time reading this author and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and both of the lead characters were kick ass cool and fun.

Kate Golden is an international lingerie designer whose sales have dropped and her London boutique is struggling to get by. In order to save her business, she embarks on a trip to London to be featured in a premiere fashion magazine layout for her line and to meet with a strong potential investor. At a fashion party the night before the shoot, she meets the dark

How do you like your romance? Hot with a hint of humour?  Then this might just be for you.

Yes, instalove.  Or at the very least, instalust.  And I understand that this might not be your cup of tea.  Some stories of this nature are better executed than others. But the author does a decent job with this one.

It's reasonably short at only 174 kindle pages, but boy, is there a ton f action packed in there.  The narrative fair races along, yet the author manages to develop characters with depth, and a

"He's a modelizer, which might be slightly worse than being a womanizer."

Lingerie on the Floor is my first book by Amanda Aksel. I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of her work. Her writing style is smooth and her character's witty banter was entertaining. And did I mention it was H-O-T? If I had been reading in public my blushing would have been embarrassing. Not that I would have stopped reading...

Drew, the sexy photographer, is a modelizer. Often seen with a beautiful model

Personally, I didn’t quite enjoy reading this book. It was hard to keep myself interested in the story. It was, at times, hard to follow. At times, it felt like information overload.

At the beginning it was really hard to get into the story. The story line tended to drag and there seemed to be an abundance of information. I finally got to a part in the story that grabbed my attention and I really enjoyed what I was reading. It seemed, h

As this is my first encounter with this author, I wasn’t sure quite what to expect. What a wonderful surprise it was too! The next book in this series is definitely going on my TBR.

Kate developed a passion for lingerie from a young age and now, she owns one of the most renowned lingerie business. Kate Golden Lingerie. She is unattached and more or less married to her job.

Drew comes from an affluent family, but plays it down. He prefers his motorbike and the bad boy look to go with it. He is also

This was my first Amanda Aksel read and I got to say I did enjoy it, it was a super fast read and Drew and Kate's story is fulled with laughter (specially the first few times they bump into each other, they are funny and disastrous) and with hotness that will make you melt. Their chemistry is off the charts, Drew releases the inner sex panther in Kate since their first meeting and he manages to give her the confidence in her self she desperately needed. Problem is their sex-lation

I read this book as part of an arc program. I loved the story of Kate, a lingerie designer and Drew, a photographer. When Kate spills a drink on Drew at a party, they have immediate chemistry and he asks her to leave with him. Kate is in London hoping to find investors to help her London store expand and stop it from closing. When Kate agrees to leave with Drew, she thinks he is going to be a fling while away from home, but when her best friend calls with a crisis, she abandons him without a wor ...more

Kate designs lingerie for a living and when her business starts to fail she goes to London looking for an investor. She meets Drew at a party where they hit it off but when he asks her to come home with him, she gets called away thinking she'll never see him again. Turns out Drew is the photographer set to shoot Kate's new lingerie line. They both decide to have a fling since Kate will only be there for a few weeks. As they continue seeing each other though, feelings and emotions get involved ca ...more

Fantastic romance with lots of steam and a cast of main and secondary characters that I hope will reappear again and again in the sequels. This is a stand alone story of an American (Kate), and a Brit (Drew) who meet by chance, and can't get enough of each other despite their aversion to commitment. Very sexy with some really romantic scenes played out in London and NYC. Kate has great sidekicks and Drew's brothers are a pair of bachelors waiting for their own HEAs I recommend Lingerie on the Fl ...more

From the first few pages,I felt a growing immersion into the world of first Kate, and then Drew. I got to know them as they got to know each other. The love scenes are sexy as anything I have read. The world of high society vs hard working just makes it more appealing. Kate and Drew are a story book story right up until it isn't. I won't lie, I ranted and raved through my tears. Kate was a joy to watch as she grew into a confidant young woman. Kate's friend, Garrett was funny and wise all at onc ...more

Lingerie on the Floor, by Amanda Aksel, is the first book of the Londonaire Brother series. This is a romantic comedy that will have you falling out of your seat from the hilarious humor that is twisted into the story. Lingerie designer, Kate, versus photographer, Drew... sparks are abound and there is no way they'll do anything but set everything in their path instantly on fire! Whew!!

This is the first book I have read by the author and I cannot believe I had not read one of Amanda Askel's boo

Lingerie on the floor is what you’ll expect of a book with this kind of title: sexy. One of the biggest points is the attraction between the main characters, it’s pure chemistry.

Kate is a lingerie designer, and even though she creates beautiful, sexy pieces for women to feel that way, she doesn’t really feel it. She needs a push to become the woman she really has inside. She is a good role for entrepreneur women, having her own business and taking control of the financial problems herself. She’s

I really liked this book, up until near the ending when the pair discovered they loved one another but couldn't think of a way to make their lives work together. Like, really, you two? There's nooo way it would work if one of y'all move? None? It irritated me that they couldn't just sit down with one another and talk through solutions. Rather they went their separate ways, whined about it to their friends, and came up with a solution months later. It was a little infuriating in a way.

An easy going book, which I would love to have with me while sunbathing in a beach. The pace of the story was ok neither too slow nor too fast, though I could say nothing unexpected. However, I'm still interesting to know how the series will continue. Hope the next books have more complex plots.

The first book of this series was pretty damn good. It gave us a hot, smart mouthed and possessive british man. What could we want more, right?

I liked Drew. Under that bad boy, rough and cold attitude was a very kind, caring and sweet person. He was a tease at first, enjoying his little game. But as time passed we got to know the real Drew. The one who felt pressured by his family name, the one who cared so much for his brothers, the one who was afraid of pursuing his dreams, the one
