The Olympian gods cause nothing but chaos…

Hope escaped the Underworld with her life, but her memories are as blank as the Book of the Fates she brought back. Still determined to break the curse, she and Xan take an offering to the Olympian temple to solicit the goddess Artemis for aid. But the petition ha

It was a good conclusion, but I felt as if the action and the romance of this book wasn't as well balanced as the rest of the series. The first 200 pages were slow, without much happening, but the last 200 pages were full of crying, of action and of a lot of things that were happening way too quickly. I still enjoyed it very much though.

4.5 Bohostars

Fates and Furies, the fourth and final book concluding Raye Wagner's superb mythology based, YA, urban fantasy, Sphinx series, is one of the best YA level adventure fantasy books I have read this year.

Raye's beautiful writing, a plot full of twists and turns at every corner, and conflicts after conflicts thrown upon her young heroes, all this contribute to a whopping 4.5 Bohostars.

Hope, the Sphinx, suffers from Apollo's curse. She can't marry a mortal (or anybody in fact) and has th

What an amazing way to end this series. I am speechless with this book in a good way. It was a roller coaster of emotions. The strength and bravery of Hope is amazing. She is one good role model and she never gives up. Her support system of Xan and Athan is also amazing. The love she has for both of them and the love they return to her is exactly how it should be; so much like family. Always sticking together. I love seeing the other gods and goddesses in this book and the games they played. It ...more

"The end of one adventure is only the beginning of another..."

Fates and Furies is the final book in the Sphinx series by Raye Wagner and what a finale it is! This book is nothing short of fantastic and is sure to please all fans of the series with what I feel is one of the most satisfying series endings I

This was a hard book for me to read. I always find the last book in a series the most challenging typically because I just don’t want the series to end and I am afraid that it will either disappoint or leave me wanting more. This book did not disappoint at all. Fate and Furies is the fourth book in the Sphinx series and by far my favorite book in this series.

The author continues to create a vivid world of Gods and Demigods in this conclusion book of the Sphinx series. The entire book is about Ho

So, the end is here and I'm sad to see this series go as I have floved all these books. I read the first book at the beginning of last year and have then impatiently waited for all the rest of the books in the series to be released since then. There have been laughs and smiles along the way and there have been tears. There have also been shockers, none more so than in book number three so I'd say this last book is the one I have been most impatiently waiting for.

This is an action-packed, exciting conclusion to the Sphinx series, and no one could have written it like Raye Wagner. She's taken us to the Underworld, and in this edition, she takes us to Asgard. Hope's story takes us on the adventure of a lifetime, and this is a fitting conclusion to this part of the story. It is thrilling and perilous, breathtaking and frightening. And it shows us just how much the soul can endure when fighting to right the wrongs of the gods.

This author's stories are lush a

Exciting and enthralling

I was hooked on this book the moment i started reading it. I love Athans point of view and getting to read what his life is like now that he is a mortal. I love Xan but he made me a little mad with all the bashing he did to Athan, i know he wants the girl but dang Athan dod give up something huge for her. I love the fight scenes, the descriptions made then seem so real and i think this author has a brilliant mind to come up with them. I couldnt put this book down it was

Raye has done it again with another great book! I could not put this book down. It was great to see all my favorite characters and I enjoyed seeing more of the gods in this book. This is a must read! Raye does a wonderful job getting you so wrapped up in her story you don't want it to end. I will miss The Sphinx series characters but I look forward to reading whatever Raye puts out next.

Congrats on finishing this series

I look forward to reading more from you. This book was awesome and I wish there was more but I always wish for more. I have fallen in the love with the characters. I am still team Xan. I love his snarky attitude.

I really enjoyed this book. there was love and hate to things that were happening. Great last book on the series. Due to events i was changing the teams i was in: Athan, Xan and Hope. i finally got to team: cheering you all.
Final events were really fast paced and surprising, but in the end everything was explained clearly.
YA needs more books with emotions like in The Sphinx Series. I hope there will be more books on this huge Universe.

An absolutely amazing addition to The Sphinx series. This series just gets better and better. Follow along with Hope, Xan and Athan to see if they can break Hope's curse. Find out what happens next in the lastest installment of The Sphinx series.

OMG the emotions! One crazy rollercoaster ride!

I don't even know where to start. The final book in this series was awesome. Raye takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. She left me gasping, laughing crying and swearing. You litterly feel all emotions while reading this. Once you think one thing was going to happen, Bam Raye totally takes it to another direction. You don't want to miss this book

A nice end to this cool Ancient Greek meets modern time adventure. I had a lot of fun and I love the characters... I might've picked a different guy though... That part was a bit weird. Anyhu. Fun fun fun :D

THE WRITING. I love the wuting style of the author in this book. You can see the improvement on the writing of Raye Wagner since the first book in the series. I love the cliffhangers on every chapter because it kept me wanting for more and had me hooked til the very last page. I like how she wrote those moments of action, especially how she made us see the pettiness, obsessiveness and just asshole ways of how those Greek Gods can be. Amazing writing style and laying out of the

This book series is completely fantastic! From the beginning of book 1 to this book, Raye Wagner has completely intrigued me. Since the book summary is already above, I am not going to summarize. But my thoughts on this book, oh my gosh I have so many. I'm going to try not to spoil the book. I just want to say, the variety of gods that she included in this book is astonishing. Their personalities, the author made them so, life like. Usually in some books (such as Percy Jackson, a so called child ...more
The final installment of Hope's journey is a crazy rollercoaster ride...SO NOT KIDDING!!! Don't read any more of this unless you've read the first three books!!!!!

Myths of Immortality (book 3) left us with Athan as a mere mortal, a hot mortal, but still a mortal. And Hope has this crazy idea to go up to Mount Olympus, but can't remember why after her memory was wiped by the river Lethe. Problem is, the only way to get to Mount Olympus is through an invite from one of the gods. Unfortunately, Hop

This book was a great end to a wonderful series. It's genuinely sad to see this series finish, but I am glad that what I had hoped for, was fulfilled.

As always, I loved the way Raye incorporates Greek mythology in this, but does so in such a unique way. For example, we see more of the fates and their role. I also loved the idea of how the meaning of words can be interpreted differently and how it is cleverly used to help Hope break the curse.

Similar to the third book, I really liked the change

It's a YA read?!! Exciting, allot of action, love, betrayal and... Hope;-)

I had no clue, after the first book I realized there was no steamy scenes.. But that want right either.. There was romance.. Allot infact. Just not the kind that you read with your back against the wall.

***Spoiler warning****

Hope is extremely strong emotionally and physically...I just don't understand why she's so unsure of EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING. --- she's a bit of a whiner. Which is understandable with almost

I was a bit disappointed by this ending not that it wasn’t good or satisfying but it felt a bit unbalanced in my opinion I mean I found a big part of this novel quite slow but the last few chapters made me gape and I couldn’t stop reading
I have the happy ending I’ve always wanted even if it was really convenient I’m ok with that
And even if the world building and plot are still really good I found the characters a bit annoying I mean Athan is adorable but he spend a lot of time complaining abou

A fascinating read!

A quest to seek an audience with the Gods in Olympus...
Filled with danger...
Disastrous results occur...
Will Hope face the power of the past to change the fate of the future?
Will she finally be free from of the curse and Apollo?

Such a mystical, captivating, enjoyable and fantastic read. Such a great end to a successful series. So happy as to how all the events occurred and played out.

I was so eager for the last book to come out and I'm filled with joy as to how everything play

What a fantastic way to end a series! The last in this the Sphinx series sees brave Hope battle the gods of Olympus to save her friend, family and the world! Action packed from beginning to end, with Xan and Athan at her side Hope proves what a heroine she really is.

I love the dynamics between Athan Hope and Xan, and I enjoyed how they interacted with each other, and the straths between their bonds. I am very sad to see this series end, but there are many other characters awaiting their stories.

Now this is how you end a series! I've been dying to read this book since it downloaded on my Kindle. I got home from work and read the entire thing in one shot, only taking breaks when it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. This book is a phenomenal conclusion to the Sphinx series complete with drama, romance, and enough energy to keep a reader on the edge of their seat (or at least have them yell at someone when they try to interrupt... I know I did). Already loving this seri ...more

Again huge thanks to Raye Wagner for sending me an e-arc in exchange for an honest review. It has been incredible to read through this series. For me I think this last book was my favorite. I still don't want spoiler anything especially since this is the last book.

WOW, just wow! This book had me on my toes the entire time! I had a hard time putting it down. The final installment in the Sphinx series has us following Hope and Xan through the trials and tribulations of her quest to end the curse on her and her family. Throughout this book my heart raced as I truly felt the emotions, especially anger for the characters! I am an extreme lover of mythology, while devouring this book my world melted away until it was just me, Hope, Xan, and the Gods. Serious lo ...more

Raye Wagner is the USA Today Bestselling author of young adult fantasy books. She's a big fan of both the Percy Jackson series (shocker) and the Twilight saga (gasp), and those two series *might* have led her to pursue her dream of writing teen fiction.

Raye loves realistic characters who are believably flawed and act rationally. And kissing. Ooo, and fighting - the martial arts kind that makes yo
