We're the D'Artigo sisters: savvy half-human, half-Fae operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. My sister Delilah is a two-faced werecat and a Death Maiden. Menolly is a vampire married to a gorgeous werepuma and a vampire prince. And me? I'm Camille, a Moon Witch married to three gorgeous husbands, and I'm about to ascend to the throne of Dusk & Twilight. ...more

Read: August 2018
Rating: 4/5 stars

Moon Shimmers is Camilles final full length book in the series (there is also a follow on novella which I have not yet read) and there is definitely a sense of things ending for the sisters and their family. Camille and Menolly are both preparing to move out of the home they have lived in throughout the series as their lives change and move in different directions. Delilah will be the only sister left in the house, which she will share with her fiancé and other

I'm glad that this series is winding down, it time for it, the sisters have saved the world enough, time for their HEA's. I think what I liked most about this one was that finally during a quest things went pretty easy for those on it. They weren't in peril overly much, the group managed to figure out what they needed to pretty easy too. Most of the conflict more came from Camille realizing that her life is changing, changing for the better. What is causing these bittersweet feelings is that she ...more

A fitting read for my 100th read of the year. Thrilling fun and sweet, this series, and this installment draw me in fast and wont let go. A world I love to revisit but would not want to overstay my welcome.

This story wouldve been more suited for a novella. There wasnt very much conflict and what little was encountered was easily resolved. It wasnt a quest it was a camping trip. No one was ever in any real danger and Camille was never at risk of not obtaining her crown. Even fears of what the future holds were easily assuaged. At the least we shouldve seen one good panic attack.

I also dont get why Camille had to constantly bring up not wanting kids. We got it already. But did she forget way back

Moon Shimmers is book 19 of the Otherworld series and Camille's last book of the series. Life got in the way for me to finish this book within days like I used to, but I loved Moon Shimmers and I savored every page up until the end. I remember starting the series with Witchling, when I was first introduced to Yasmine Galenorn as an author and found her work to be amazing. It's a bit sad for me to go back and re-read the series and think

Otherworld book 19 told by Camille. Times they are changing. The summer solstice is almost upon them and that is when Camille will be leaving the home she has shared with her sisters since they came Earthside to become the Faerie Queen of Dusk and Twilight but before she can do that, she must find the Keraastar Diamond and fulfill her destiny to take control of the Keraastar Knights who will guard the Seals. However, the Diamond is well hidden and guarded in

****I Received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review.**** This is the first in the last set of books in the series. I must admit, it was sooo bittersweet and final as I closed the last page of my electronic copy. Camille has always been my favorite and not just because she's a witch. It is because she reminds me of myself back in my 20's and moving on to now in my late 30's. We met this wonderful woman who was so sure of her duty, her family, but yet so vulnerable and unsure of ...more

I've adored Yasmine's Otherworld books for years and this is the last Camille book, number 19 in the series. Ironically I was a little sad to read this book, because I don't really want this awesome series to end, but Yasmine did not disappoint.

The Otherworld series tells the tale of three sisters, half human and half Fae. Camille is Moon Witch slated to become a Fae Queen, Delilah is a were-cat/panther who is a Death Maiden and

I can't believe that this series is supposed to end in 2 books, there is still so much unfinished?
What I liked about this book it that the main plot finally makes progress. I'm really grateful that the series comes to an end soon, it's time.

Sadly, the major themes of this book were already revealed in the last Menolly book. And besides that, not too much happened. Camille is supposed to become the Queen of Dusk and Twilight. For that, she has to collect the last spirit seal and find the

As a long time reader of the Otherword Series, it's with a bitter sweetness that I write this review. Moon Shimmers brings readers to the final arc of this amazingly magical series. Destiny, fate and everything Camille, her sisters, family and friends have been fighting for is now on the table.

Moon Shimmers is an emotional, fast paced journey of mental and spiritual growth for Camille. Grab a glass of wine and a box of tissues, I know I needed both. Lol. Camille has been one of my favorite

I'll be honest. This is one of the last three books in the Otherworld series. I was so excited to start it, yet sad at the same time. I've been a fan of Yasmine Galenorn for years, and I've read every book she's put out in her fiction series, which is many. Knowing this was the last book from Camille's POV is tough.
Moon Shimmers is aptly named. Camille D'Artigo a High Priestess of the Dark Moon and witch, is half fae and half human. She is about to ascend the throne as Queen of the Dusk and

While there are still 2 more books in this series, this was the last one from Camille's POV. Her story isn't finished (there's still a big, bad to defeat...or not), but there was definitely a feel to this one that the life that we followed with her has come to an end and she's now moving into a new life that we won't see much of.

With her sexuality, I'm used to skipping 6-8 pages at a time to not read the porn that occurs with Camille & her husbands and it was a nice change that there was

I will start by saying that I have been a fan of Ms. Galenorns writing for over ten years now and the Otherworld Series was my first introduction. I have "watched" these three sisters grow through each new challenge in their lives. I will admit that I like her character the best. I was not surprised that the last of Camille's books would start out with a bang and keep on running. There were both happy and sad times

I have devoured the whole series in less than a month. I love all the little side stories and such, the settings and plots, sub plots, etc. One thing that drove me crazy constantly was the exact directions taken each time the group traveled anywhere in Seattle. I don't live there, so the directions made no sense to me. If there had been a map included in the front like there is of Otherworld, that would have helped much.
Each character from the start of the series to this latest book all

Moon Shimmers is Yasmine Galenorn's 19th Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon Series.

Moon Shimmers was an emotional read for me, I put off reading it, then put off reviewing it, due to those emotions. The Series is winding down, and this is Camille's final full-length novel. Of course she will be in future stories, but it won't be the same. And I think Camille is my favorite sister.

Camille is destined to be Queen of one of the Earthbound Fae nations, and coronation is coming up, just as the search

I was happy to lose myself in the D'Artigo sisters' world again, and saved this book until my vacation so I could read it in one sitting. Camille finally comes face to face with her destiny as one of the Fae Queens and the Queen of the Keraastar Knights. The last spirit seal has been located, and the showdown with Shadow Wing looms on the horizon.
The girls and their loved ones have come so far over the course of this series, and have sacrificed much. Now that the ending is in sight it's kind of

I Adore the Otherworld Series

From book one and onward there's fun and adventure. The characters are so well developed they feel like family to me and probably always will. There's something special about Yasmine Galenorn's writing efforts that simply works and that's that. It's the best medicine when I need to get out of my mind for a while. I've loaned hard copies to friends, all of whom were delighted and happily surprised at how well a cohesive story line with such continuity that makes the

Coming to an end with new beginnings

Most of us know that this series is coming to an end, but as with each book we have watched each character also go on to new beginnings. This book about Camille is no different. As Camille and her entourage set on a journey that will change everything for her and also will impact some of those closest to her. As always there is danger, intrigue, friendship, and most of all love found in all of these books, and this is no different. So sit back, get

OMG!!!! What a way to end Camille's personal adventure!!!! I laughed. I cried and a couple of times I wondered what in the world was going on. Before I read this one, I reread all of the books in the series and it gave me a complete understanding of what Camille has truly gone through to get to this moment. As always, her 3 glorious husbands and her extended family are at her side as she completes her final tasks to become what and who she was born to be. I wish I didn't have to wait until next ...more

This is a very good series. I have been reading them all and i know it is coming to an end. I am not looking forward to the end of the series, but i love the series just the same.
If you are into Magic, Witches, Dragons, Vampires, Shifters and Fae this is a series for you. You will come to love the characters as they mature through the years of the series.
I have recommended this series to all my friends and family to read. I also recommend that you read from the first book of the series and on,

This is one of the last books in the Otherworld series. The Otherworld series follows 3 sisters who are as different as night and day but always have each others backs. I was excitedly waiting to read the book and when I finished quite sad as I don't want this series to end.... Everything is coming to a head for Camille, including her destiny. Moon Shimmers has done what every other Otherworld book has done, made me seem like a crazy person alternating laughing out loud and crying hysterically.

This is a good book, as always, with the Otherworld series. This is one of my favorite series and I'm glad Yasmine is going to finish them up for us and give the sisters a well deserved ending. I look forward to the next two books in this series. In this book, Camille finally gets crowned Queen of Dusk & Twilight and so much more. I won't spoil anything for others readers but this book still has surprises in store for all of the Sisters' extended family. Keep them coming Yasmine and thanks ...more

Moon Shimmers was a surprise. The direction the characters take and where they lead the read to, I wasn't expecting. Camille and the entire extended family go on a quest that none of them are looking forward to. With everyone life in limbo and taking different directions is it more than Camille and her sister's can handle.

I really enjoyed Moon Shimmers and how much the characters are evolving into who they are to become. Wonderful job!

It keeps getting better!

Moon Shimmers Ms. Galenorn's latest Otherworld book is a wonderful treat to read. The recurring threads of duty, acceptance and change are woven together to show Camille and her sisters growing and becoming the women they were meant to be. I love the way the series keeps progressing and the emotional depth that is part of this one. One of my favorite books of the year.

And I skipped over reading over a LOT.
Not to go back and re read.
Oh no the horror.
This series is getting good. But you also know it's closing out in a way. And that saddens me. Meh. Well , I guess that's what;s reading and re reading it for right everyone!!!!

I love this series! It has been wonderful following all the characters from the first book through this latest offering. I am happy reading and listening to Ms Galenorn's masterful storytelling. It pulls you into Otherworld and you feel that you are on the journey with the sisters. I have been reading/listening to her books for many years and I love them all.

A very enjoyable installment in this long-running series. As a warning, this cannot be read as a standalone. You will be confused if you start here.

I tend to enjoy Camille's books most and this was no different. This book had a nice balance of action and family relationships. The large cast was handled skillfully. The journey to the Otherworld was interesting and relatively well-paced (though I could have done with less descriptions of how they got their food for each meal while journeying). I

Finally progressing

It's seemed the larger plot of these stories had stalled. This one finally feels like it's moving to an ending. I love the development of the sisters and can't wait to read more.
