The Hidden Help Meet: Stand By Your Man

Rate this book
There is a battle raging. Families are being fought over by the enemy. A godly woman's effect on the outcome of the war against the family is staggering. To fight the good fight, it is clearly important to know how Satan will attack. In a brilliantly touching way, The Hidden Help Meet recounts the experiences of women who changed the course of history by supporting the men in their lives.

Loved this message when I heard it from Denny years ago when I was first married. I love the thoughts that Debi has added to his thoughts and the different types of men from the extra chapters in the back. Much to think on now. Great book for newlyweds and seasoned marriages alike!

There is not enough I could say about this short book that will challenge every woman to be a better woman. Whether she is single or married, we all need to be reminded that it is important to know and understand the men whom God has put in our lives to follow and “help.” “If honor were based on performance, not one of us would get any honor....is honor based on worth? Do we honor someone who is worthy of honor? No, I believe the Bible teaches that honor is based on position.” 1 Peter 2:17 says, “Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the King.”

It disgusts me how many people like this book. It's so disheartening. For anyone reading this... I sincerely ask you to get help if you truly believe that God's purpose is for you to serve, center, and fu** men for their pleasure and their pleasure alone. Get a rabbit for Pete's sake. God made both genders equally. A mans GOAL shouldn't be to find a wife or to please her. That causes his value to be tied to a woman or to the opposite gender. YOUR VALUE should be tied to Christ. Not to men. And Christ DID NOT ask you to serve men. He asked you to serve Him.

A very well put-together book that will encourage women in their marriages. Some great ideas, many of them novel.
