A fun, fast read. I read it in a single sitting and it paces really well and keeps you reading and enjoying. Definitely recommended for someone who likes funny action, in the style of Indiana Jones.

I don't know where to begin....

Mr. Bubbles should have been a rotten book. Talking monkeys? Bad guys named Doomsday Steve & Gooseburger? Hot air balloons and a 1940's vibe?
It's like Indiana Jones & Nickelodeon got together in Dr. Frankenstein's lab and created created this FABULOUS book.
I couldn't stop reading it. The author tapped into my love of old school science fiction movies and I was hooked. This book is great for anyone 12 to 120! Family friendly, action packed, kooky characters, and d

I had so much fun reading this book that I couldn't put it down and read it all in one sitting. The characters - from the super brilliant Mr. Bubbles (who still enjoys bananas from time to time) to the sinister (but oddly adorable) Doomsday Steve - are what bring this fast-paced, action-packed story to life. Reminiscent of the classic Indiana Jones films, Mr Bubbles and the Mystery of the Mayan Temple provides a delightful balance of adventure, action and comedy. This book is guaranteed to make ...more

Adulting break!

This is a quick, fun read for those who enjoyed classic cartoons. Grady and Mr. Bubbles reminded me, in part, of Indiana Jones and Short Round (reversed), and part Rocky and Bullwinkle. The villains were a fun mix of Wile E Coyote and Boris and Natasha. The real fun started when Grady and Mr. Bubbles hit the jungle together. I would definitely be up for more of their adventures.

Norman Grady, a treasure hunter with a penchant for getting caught snogging native maidens, and Mr. Bubbles, a chimpanzee with the personality of Mr. Spock team up to retrieve an artifact from an ancient Mayan Temple.

What could go wrong?

Chris W. Sears delivers a fun, light-hearted, and even silly, adventure that is sure to entertain children of all ages. With the slapstick humor of 70's Saturday morning cartoons, Grady, and Bubbles race to Central America pursued by the outlandishly ridiculous

Warning: If you’re looking for a mature, master work of literature, this book is not that. Mr. Bubbles and the Mystery of the Mayan Temple is an opportunity to let your hair down, lean back, throw back some pixie stix, and enjoy the laughs you’re about to experience. Take a break from being an adult

Okay, so the fantasy author of a book cannot turn down another book about a talking monkey. There, my bias is out on the table. But come on. You just saw the cover. You’re reading this. You are no different than me. Let me provide the only assurance you need. This short book will return you ageing butt to the long lost days of Saturday morning cartoons, eating Fruity Pebbles in the pajamas that doubled as your Halloween costume.

Still reading? Honestly, just move along to the book. I loved it! D
