Have you ever read a book full of subtleties and wondered if you're the only one who has picked up on them? Read some of the reviews and not one of them mentions ANY of them??? The one thought that ran through my mind the ENTIRE time I was reading this book was...

OMG!! Madison!! What the freak is wrong with you??? Read. The damn. Book!!

If my life was being controlled, manipulated, destroyed, etc. and hanging in the balance, reliant on the goodwill and integrity of others, and I had NO ONE to

I apologize for this vague review it's only because I don't want to divulge any spoilers to ones that haven't gotten around to reading this. I highly recommend this series!!

Unique, Unpredictable, Unputdownable. Ultra addictive!!

As we saw in the last chapter of ‘The Silver Swan’ Madi is running for her life with Tatum in tow, new names, new passports, destinations unknown. All in the name of di

I had a really hard time trying to decide on a rating for this book and have been really conflicted about what to say. While I loved the mystery and intrigue of the story, I also felt like there was a lot of filler and parts that just weren't necessary. The book ends on yet another cliffhanger and I honestly don't think I really learned anything from this book. There were one or two big reveals but other than that I just feel like there is so much l

Seriously what's wrong with me?
I can't stop reading this series and yet it has so many flaws!

-editing errors (I usually can't stand them but still plow through here);
-inconsistencies or holes in the story (maybe I am too dumb or maybe it will come in the last one);
-sick and twisted sex scenes (even in her dreams) that gives me the same "vibe" when you see a gore disgusting scene that you know you should NOT look at but still can't look elesewhere;
-cussing, filthy talking and killing feeling like

Madison Montgomery only scratched the surfice of a deeply dark secrets of a total uncomprehendable sphere of life, it's undercover, it's powerful, it's dark & dangerous and she's an undeniable part of it. She's the missing link. She's a liability. She's a weapon. And she's in mortal danger as her destiny has been marked and re-written from the past generations...

Here's a thought... Perhaps she should have sat down at ANY point during this book to actually read and finish that book that seems to have all the answers that no one can tell her...

Onto the next one!

OMG. If she wanted answers so badly why didn't she just read the damn book?! Literally everyone is telling her to read it to learn more, but noooo lets bitch about how everyone is keeping secrets. If it were me I would have demolished the book in one sitting.

Oh my word, I forget how whiny some heroines can be. Madison took the cake for the whiniest and stupidest heroine I have read this year. I rolled my eyes way too many times to keep track of exactly just how many. But first, if you know how important a book is, you read that shit and finish it. You don't wait days or weeks reading chapter per chapter. I got so pissed when she said she didn't have time. Like gurl everyone was literally asking you what chapter you were up to and you were behind! So ...more

I have no clue, I am so confused the broken puppet left me with even more questions than answers.
I loved this instalment but Madison you seriously need to start asking the right questions girl.

As alluring as a floating swan, but as deadly as a silver bullet.

Well, holy shit that was a roller coaster ride. I though Jones couldn´t get this story more twisted and full of questions than what already was, but nope, she delivered some intense and darker installment. (This review will contain mild spoilers)

If I have to start anywhere though, I think I should go and say that this book was way darker and involved a lot of mindfucked stuff than the previous book (

Now you guys might be thinking that Miftahul, if you hated the first book then why read the second book? Let me tell you why......because curiosity kills the cat. I was curious to know, and i also wanted to know how stupid Madison can me, she gets an A+ in stupidity. Now, after reading this book i realised that i should always remember this line “curiosity kills the cat”, i learned the value of this line today. So basically nothing actually happens in th

This shit is not for the faint of heart, but it’s so worth it if you’re down with that. There’s a little bit and a little bit of that. If you aren’t a fan of dark, mind fuckery, and gritty this may not be your jam. But if you’re DFD, then you need to read this ASAP.

These kids are off the chain. Like legit, no boundaries, do whatever the hell they want to do when they want to do it, OFF THE CHAINS!! It’s pure entertainment. Kindle crack for the dark and depr

I don't think I've ever encountered a book that made absolutely no sense and kept teasing its audience with no answers. The fact that Madison keeps receiving hints from the people around her who keep telling her to read a book and that she mysteriously knows more if she can just remember frustrates me to no end. I DNFed this way too late at 75% since nothing happens. The fact that there's a 3rd book after this is mind boggling in addition to the positive reviews. Did you ladies read the same non ...more

After book one I rushed to start book two. And Oh my world!!! This author loves to play devils advocate with her characters. This world with the elite kings is changing and getting crazy. She finds out she’s a Silver Swan. But now that she knows what will happen? So many unanswered questions and it is all leading to book three. This is a very suspenseful story with so many dark secrets. Love love her sex scenes with Bishop King. The banter between herself and Nate her stepbrother is cray cray!

Just Wow , I’m still shocked from all the plot twists and revelations. I’m gonna head straight to next book in this series
( yes , the sex scenes were even hotter in this one 😉)

This book was so filled with passion , strength , anger and moreee so much more.

The only way to understand what I'm talking about is reading it...

You really won't know what hit you, I'm speachless

Madship is the endgame , I won't accept anything else.

What a ride! I am pretty hooked on this series now. Can't get enough. And as a reminder... this is NOT young adult. Not even close. It's new adult dark romance with erotica elements.

Come on Madison. Read the damn book already! Ugh. This was the most INFURIATING aspect of the story (well, the ending was too but still). Rant aside, The Broken Puppet is the SECOND book in the Elite King's Club series and the books MUST be read in order. This is a dark YA romance novel- one that has lots of sex, swearing, and even talk of sexual abuse. This book isn't suitable for younger teens so make sure to only read i

I´m not really sure how to rate this one. In some ways I found it really good and then in others it felt too unrealistic considering the main character´s age. But the story is very interesting and I like it, I just need to try to look past the age "thing", but that does take my rating down though.
Book 2 is definitely better than the first one. Mind you there is still chaos and the plot doesn’t run flawlessly but despite some shortfalls the story sucks you in and makes you want to stay.
This is the major winning point of this author, I was glued to my kindle and could easily overcome some wrongs, holes and contradictions in the plot as well as some discrepancies in the characters.

In book two we finally get some answers albeit murky and they give way to even more questions, which, mind yo

Damn! This book was just as good as the first. There is a lot happening and there are times I really really wanted to slap Madi!!! I need her to toughen up and stop making stupid decisions, don't get me wrong I do like her though. This might make me crazy but I love Bishop and the Kings. We get to see why Brantley hates Madi so much and damn that about broke my heart. The ending ... well yeah I am on to the next book!!

... things can't get worse, they do. Tons of plot twists and all around chaotic f@ckery. I'm totally jumping to the next book right now. Great series.
Sarah - Musings of the Modern Belle

There a couple things I need you to understand. In order to love these books, there has to be a bit of suspension of belief. The things these teens do is unrealistic, but it is fiction. These boys have been raised as elites with no limitations and absentee parents from a young age. This is Dark and violent, even the most intimate moments between Bishop and Madi are laced with violence, but it works for her and them. It doesn’t lessen what they have but enhances who Amo Jones has

Puppet's Memories are King's games.........

Wow just Wow. The Broken Puppet start off right where the Silver Swan left off with Madison and Tatum leaving. This book has everything from the first book and more. All the secrets, lies, manipulation, distrust, and loyalty. The Elite Kings tactics In trying to get Madison to remember is scary at best. Bishop and Nate wants to keep her safe but she has to put her trust into the King's and that's just dangerous. Amo knows how to keep you intrigued with

3.5 to 4 Stars. I immediately purchased this book after finishing The Silver Swan. I am torn on this review as I am very close to giving it a higher rating of 4.5-5 stars, but I'm holding back only because I didn't really get into the book until about 60% in. The first 40% of this book almost had me to DNF- which I never really do. For me, and this is only my opinion, the beginning of the book seemed very farfetched. I know this is fiction, and as authors we can play around a lot with fiction. I ...more
