Rate this book
This first-hand account of Tibetan life within a sacred society prior to the Chinese invasion is the most complete and definitive work to date on the subject of Islam in Tibet. Intriguing similarities between the world's fastest growing religion and Buddhist philoophy can be found and the narrative has some adventurous spirit to it if one wants to visit the vicinity of Mt. Everest.
