This was such a cool book showing students on a field trip at a museum and this one girl loves photography and as she is looking at an old photo of men working on the first transcontinental railroad she finds herself in the same place. I love when stories do this because it makes the experience so much more alive for the students. I would definitely share this book if I had to do a lesson over the first railroad.
