Lily is the lead singer of Darkest Days younger sister & she is treated like the little kid she once was when she hung around the band before going to Europe for High School. All she wants is to be treated like an adult & freedom from always having someone watch over her. When she comes home to California to go to college her brother, Noah, is as over protective as he ever is. After walking in on Noah & his girlfriend having sex one too many times Lily goes to live with Cameron. Came ...more

Cameron has always been my fave, I love, love, love, love this series, I think Athena really grabs ya up and makes ya wanna know more, I was so glad to see that book #3 & #4 had come out and some how I had missed it??! WHAT??! So I jumped on book #3. Such a great read!! ...I would say that I usually go for the bad boy, their issues just pull at your heartstrings and you just feel for them. I think Cameron is just misunderstood. He doesn't get his parents? He lives in this huge-ass-mansion an ...more

I was excited for the next book in the Darkest Days series. Cameron wasn't a disappointment! He was always so wild and seemed out of control. I really wondered what direction Athena Wright would take.

Well, I LOVED Cam! He was so misunderstood, had such depth to him, and I really felt bad for him. He wanted so much, had so much to give, but his "lack" kept getting reinforced until he believed it. Lily, OTOH, was fighting for her independence. Her brother Noah wasn't letting her go easily, and she

Cameron has long been the poster child for out of control rocker. Wild parties and a long string of anonymous women are his calling card. He takes great delight in pushing his bandmate’s buttons; especially Noah. I loved getting to see underneath all that eyeliner to the real Cameron. He has some big holes in his heart and his life of partying is meant to fill that.
Lily has spent a long time being hidden away and I was pleased that she was striving to become independent. Her brother Noah made m

I am a big fan of the series and wait anxiously for each release! Cameron's book was not a disappointment. Darkest Days just keeps getting better!

Cam was always so crazy and out of control. It was great to see the story behind why and see the softer side. I wish there was more of the teasing moments and the tension that builds from the push pull of having feelings and desires for one another. When you came across those moments I wanted more!

Lilly was sweet and I loved her brave moments when sh

Loved it, great story.
This is such a great read with twists, TMI with Lily's brother and his girlfriend, rock star band mates and Lily who has been stuck in a private school until now.
Cameron and Lily are attracted to each other but, Lily's brother has warned Cameron to stay away from Lily. The problem with that is Lily is staying at Cameron's for the summer until college starts.

Recommended to Joyce by: This book from the author but I have read numerous books of hers on my own and will again in the future.
I received an Advanced Review Copy of "Hard Rock Sin" and am voluntarily giving an honest review.

Another successful story delivered by Ms. Wright. Poignant at times, earthy at others. As always insightful characterizations are provided among an interwoven story line. Excellent reading. Always appreciate the character detail of this author.

Flaming red hair and guyliner aside, Cam is a sweet guy. He ends up with much more in his head and heart than you would think, looking at him or reading about his escapades. He throws wild parties and he watches movies. The movie marathon did endear him to me. When Lily gets scared, he is a cuddler just like she needs him to be. I didn't get into these two as a couple as much as I hoped. After her walking in on him and him inviting her to join in, I was taken aback at why she would want to be wi ...more

Sweet & sexy read

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Hard Rock Sin written by Athena Wright and voluntarily reviewed this book. Cameron Thorne, the bassist for rock band Darkest Days has not set eyes on the lead singer's little sister for years, so he didn't recognize Lily Hart when she paid a surprise visit just before one of their shows. In fact, Cameron was quite ready to have her join in on the, ahem, activity he was engaged in when she found him instead of her brother.

An ok read about Sister of lead singer and the fun loving womanizing bass player.
19 yr old Lily wants to be treated as an adult and brings this point up over and over again but her brother Noah made sure that once she
left the foster program they were raised in she would be given everything growing up which included boarding school overseas but no real teenage experiences Lily comes to surprise her brother at one of their concerts but walks in on the bass player Cameron going down on a groupie

I need a rocker

Okay okay, I was a little worried about getting Cameron’s story... especially since it was with Noah’s little sister. But wow oh wow was this book hot and amazing. Hard Rock Sin by Athena Wright is book three in the Rock Star Romance, Darkest Days series. Each steamy sexy story can be read as a stand alone but I think they have come in the perfect order thus far so I would still suggest reading together. I’ve been wanting to skip the reviews to finish these all at one time. I’m dy

I reviewed this book as part of an arc program. I love this series and this one was great. Cameron was the bassist for Darkest Days and was known for his partying and playboy ways. Lily is Noah's little sister who returned home earlier than she was expected. After going to boarding school in France, Lily was going to art school over the summer. Lily was living with Noah, but interrupted one too many personal moments between Noah and his girlfriend. Since Cameron lives in a huge mansion. she move ...more

The best of the series so far. I almost DNF'ed this one, because it literally had the exact same set up as Dangerous Crush: A Rock Star Romance, and that book was meh, IMO. But I'm glad I persevered.
Lily and Cameron made a cute couple. At least in this book they actually got to talk and get to know each other before they jumped into bed. It was better that their big dark issues came out sooner rather than later so I didn't have to guess (we already knew Lily's issue from a previous book).

Another great story from the Darkest Days series.
I was very surprised by Cameron, it was great to know him better. And I also loved knowing more about Lily.
In Noah's eyes, his younger sister, Lily, needs to be protected at any cost. So when arrangements to protect her led her to live at Cameron's house, things get really interesting.
Cameron is a complex character, in the previous books he was shown as a womanizer and who loves parties, but the reality is very different from that.

This is an emotionally charged story about two people who are emotionally damaged, sensitive and vulnerable. It's also sweet, romantic and happy. Lily always had a crush on Cameron, but to Cameron she was his band mates baby sister. Until she comes home after being away for years. He tries to resist the pull he has towards her, she tries to break through that resistance. They give each other what they desperately need and are an engaging couple. Cameron hides his real self, but Lily sees him for ...more

Excellent contemporary rock and roll, rockstar romance. This is part of the Darkest Days Rockstar Series. Cameron has been part of the band for several years with his best friends. Lily is the younger sister of the lead rockstar of the group. She had a traumatic childhood and her brother did the best he could to help her to have the best education, life and safety he could provide. Lily ended up staying at Cameron's house. I've thoroughly enjoyed this whole rockin' series so far! This is a slow burn/best friend's sister/opposites attract kind of romance, the kind that kicks you in the heart. Lily is a sheltered, sometimes naive, beautiful young "lady" who's never really experienced life on her own and who is Noah's little sister (lead singer from HARD ROCK TEASE). Cameron is the rock n' roll bad, bad, bad playboy and bassist of the band. You would think these two had nothing in common but they say opposites attrac ...more

This is a standalone, but better after the other books in the series. We get a totally different picture of Cameron in this story, much more than the party guy womanizer. Lilly is supposed to be a temporary fixture in his house, but their relationship gets much more complicated immediately. They help each other with their issues. She's the little sister, hidden away and trying to find her identity. He's a lonely, putting on a front, and now ridiculously attracted to his overprotective buddy/band ...more

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** Loved Cameron & Lily's story. Always love the band banter & reappearance of previous characters. Cameron is the epitome of being misunderstood & I absolutely loved when he's his actual self & not deflecting. Understandable that Lily doesn't wanna be treated like a child but at times she was really whiney. Not to mention when she moves out of the mansion to have her "own space" & not rely on Cameron, it technic ...more

I have read all the other books in this series and completely loved them! This book is just as awesome! Can't resist a bad boy, especially a bad boy Rock 🎸Star!! Lily still is in love with him. Neither one knows what the other feels until they can't resist the attraction anymore! Only a couple of obstacles stand in the way of the ...more

A sin.

If you have to keep saying he treats me like an adult, the more the reader's know you are a kid true to act older. There are 13 year olds that receive adult respect.
Asking a man if you are sexy is a sure sign of a immature girl not used to being around men.

This little girl chasing after grown men I find not appealing at all. The whole book seemed like a prepubescent teen chasing after a 30 year old man.

I did enjoy the storyline and the characters. Just up Other up the age on the girl and
Idk, I have such a hard time buying the whole rock-star-wants-to-be-with-a-virgin trope. This dude has had sexy times everyway imaginable and he's jonesing for the little sister. I didn't really buy it. That being said, Cameron as a person was a great character. He was more 3-dimensional than I found Lily to be. I also got pretty annoyed with her refusal to come clean to her brother. Especially considering that he really didn't care for long. Blew it out of proportion and I hate when that happen ...more

Urrr Noah was in this one and guess what?! Still a prick..
THis is the story of Lily ( Noah’s little sister) and Cameron who was a total whore in the first two books. Aside from that this story was really good. I am usually a little weird when it comes to girls under 20 in these books but this one worked. I did skim through this in some parts some of it was just a bit repetitive. The sex scenes were good, and oddly Cameron was actually a relationship guy. There was no bullshit or tortured soul, h
