Dragons on Mars

Just when I think I can finally give up on romance, I find a book like this.
Phoebe Addison is a librarian who has left the safety of her country mouse life to rescue her sister from a baddie in a future world full of monsters. Micajah St. John is the scariest monster of them all, a former spy turned shape-shifting genetic super soldier who meets Phoe fighting werewolves on a train. She hires him to help her; he shifts into a dragon; his ex-girlfriend tries to kill her--incidents e

An amazing, intense and exciting paranormal romance. I absolutely love a well written, interesting paranormal story that's different from most anything else. This book does not disappoint. I was so hooked from the beginning.
Following Phoe and Cage through their story was absolutely mind blowing.
Phoe has always been overlooked in life, when her sister sends her something that needs safe keeping, who would imagine that she could actually keep up to the task.
Cage is on a mission to save himself

In Naked, Alexandra Christian creates an original post-apocalyptic world that continually challenges her hero and heroine. Phoe, the heroine, is a librarian out of her depth on a mission to help her sister. She's thrown together with Cage, the hero, a disillusioned spy with problems of his own. He reluctantly agrees to help her. As they struggle through this dangerous world, the difficulties they face bring out inner strength Phoe didn't realize she had and force Cage to reexamine his priorities ...more

This was a new author to me and let me tell you I am so pleased I found her. This book is phenomenal , it has action , romance unforgettable characters and a plot that keeps you entertained and wanting more.
The two main characters Phobe andCage are great together and bring out the best and worst in each other, but you find yourself rooting for them throughout the story. Secondary characters are strong but don't overtake the story. Loved this book and can't wait for the next in the series .

Alexandra Christian is an author of mostly romance with a speculative slant. Her love of Stephen King and sweet tea has flavored her fiction with a Southern Gothic sensibility that reeks of Spanish moss and deep fried eccentricity. As one-half of the writing team at Little Red Hen Romance, she’s committed to bringing exciting stories and sapiosexual love monkeys to intelligent readers everywhere. ...more
