Caveman Aliens #1

Caveman Alien's Ransom

Rate this book

Being abducted by aliens was never on my bucket list!

But I guess the aliens didn't get that memo, because one night I was beamed aboard a UFO. It dumped me and a bunch of other girls on an alien planet!

A jurassic planet where giant, murderous dinosaurs walk around and everything wants to kill me. My only hope of surviving is the first man I met here. His name is Jax'zan, and he's an alien...

And a caveman!

As in, the hottest super-alpha caveman who ever lived. He's big and strong and doesn't talk much, but he's saved my life so many times now that I've lost count. My insides turn to hot mush whenever he fixes his smouldering eyes on me, and the scandalously sexy and unusual features his sensationally muscular body is rocking totally make me forget time and place. There's only one problem: He's holding me for ransom. And he wants to repopulate his woman-less planet. With me...

Expect steamy scenes, mysterious aliens with features like adult toys, deadly planets and the love story between a BBW from Earth and a sensationally hot alien warrior. Full-length romance novel with no cliffhangers and a happy-ever-after ending!

A girl and her co-workers are kidnapped by some bad aliens and crash on a planet where the girl meets a good alien who teaches her how to survive in his planet (Xren ) which it seems it is stack on a prehistoric period. It is a really hot planet with creatures that resemble dinosaurs and pterodactyls and leafy, big plants that are parts of jungles.

The alien guy, Jax’zan, has stripes on his body a weird face and an even weirder manhood, but very satisfying for the earth girl Sophia.
I liked actually the fact that the girl’s name is the same like mine :)

The book has fresh ideas which I particularly enjoyed, like for example the Lifegivers: Trees that create life; create babies for the tribe that is lacking women.

Jax’zan’s tribe is very religious. They believe in prophecies, the wrath of gods and the Mother of Xren who will come and save them and create babies naturally.

Interesting story, I will be waiting for the next book in the series.
If you join the email list, you will also get an extra epilogue.

(I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review)

This was an ok read. Usual alien abduction trope.
A group of students working on a project is abducted by aliens and dropped on a strange Jurassic planet.
A planet populated with dinosaurs , giant bugs and all different kind of strange beings, caveman alien looking mens included (only men, no women on the entire planet)
The caveman aliens live is tribes and are like fanatic religious beings obsessed by prophecies so when one of them discovers a woman in the river almost drowned he thinks all Ancestors smiled down on them.
Jax-zan is a nice guy, gentle and honourable and did I mention that all this sexy dude are virgins?? But they learned to worship a woman when young on a wooden dummy? 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
Anyways , as I said nothing special or great, just meh .

This is a combined review for Books 1 through 6 in the Caveman Aliens series by Calista Skye

Someone suggested I give this series a try. It’s on Kindle Unlimited and since I had a free subscription at the time I gave it a go. It wasn’t bad. It’s a silly alien sci-fi romance that you can read in a day. Not much plot or substance to it. Sometimes you just need something silly and with no substance to read.

The books are an alien abduction survival type read. The books are all a little bit silly. They are slow moving in parts and a bit choppy.

The concept of the Jurassic planet was interesting. It’s a planet with dinosaurs, weird bugs, plants, and Caveman. Their are no women on this planet.

When the series starts we meet several different women who are all College age students working on a project when some aliens come to earth and kidnapped women only. Those aliens that kidnapped the women end up crash landing on this Jurassic planet. The women are trying their best to survive on this Jurassic plant and soon learn they aren’t alone.

The romance in each book is very quick. Each women ends up being kidnapped by a different kind of Caveman. They pretty much fall fast and the sex is hot and primal. These Caveman end up take the women back to their tribes and we soon learn that not all the men in the tribes are good. Most of the men want to capture and force the women into being breeders aka sex slaves or the Caveman want to kill them to complete this prophecy to bring back The Women.

As the series goes on we learn their is a small underline plot on how these Caveman came to be on this Jurassic planet and what their purpose is or was.

In book five we get a brief recap of what has happened so far. This is where we learn about the underlining plot and find more women are alive and have been trapped on this star shaped land island due to a Dragon like creature.

In book six we learn why and how the Caveman came to be on this plant and their weird belief system. I didn’t care for book six. This is where I became all Caveman’d out. The issue I had with, six, was how slutty Delyah became. I get the weird water makes them lower their inhibitions, but this was over the top.

One thing that really frustrated me in this series was that each women even after they found their Caveman lover they still think they can get home. After 10 months wouldn’t it come to your mind that you aren’t getting home. Even if you do find another spaceship… How are you going to fly it?

As far as things go. The Caveman Aliens series was just ok.

I might be on Alien romance binge but I'd definitely recommend this to IPB (Ice Planet Barbarian) lovers...it is interesting mix to have jungle and dinosaurs than cold ice planet. Same story, different variety :)

Made to about 21% but just can't. The writing isn't good, the heroine was annoying, the story's kinda wonky but I thought I could deal. However, when the hero "wakes" the unconscious heroine by cunnilingus and she's ok with it, I had to tap out. It just gave me ick vibes. Not my cuppa.

This book is a lot silly and slow moving in parts. There is alien abduction survival fun with a circle of friends.

The lag in the book is what got me wrinkling my noses at the book and the heroine's decision making at times.

But I am interested in the genius friend's love story.

MacHalos Steamy Summer Scifi Romp

***3.5 Stars***

Another sweet, short, and slightly steamy addition to our summer reading. Gotta love those extra appendages ;)

Sophia and her colleagues/fellow students are burning the midnight oil working on a special project utilizing AI tech to develop a tool for translating. And wouldn't you know it? They, along with a couple dozen others, are plucked from inside their building by little gray men and unceremoniously dumped on a jungle-covered, alien-dinosaur infested planet. It definitely doesn't begin with sunshine and rainbows, as the women are picked off one by one until only Sophia and 6 of her fellow project members remain.

Fortunately for Sophia, after an accident leaves her struggling for her life, she is rescued by a native of this new, undeveloped world: Jax'zan. And man, this caveman sure knows how to say hello to a girl. Whew. After a short time, the handy dandy AI translator they were developing proves its usefulness and begins to pick up the alien language, allowing Sophia and Jax'zan to communicate. Jax'zan believes Sophia is a gift sent by his ancestors, meant to be Mother to this planet. Sophia is not sure what he means, maybe a translator error, but she knows this caveman is hitting all her right buttons. Sophia decides to try to enlist the help of Jax'zan and his tribe if Sophia and her girls are to survive on this new world.

After that, there's some conflict with Jax'zan's tribe, you find out how they've survived so long without women, and the ending is not exactly what I thought it'd be. You can tell the author has set this series up to develop a story with each remaining girl. It'll be fun to see what she has in store!

Soooooo..... ahhhh it's DNF for me!
The start was actually good, it was funny even... I really like a alien book but then at 18%.... this happen: 😬
Because this, what I have just pulled out of the holy pool of Bune, is not from here. We haven't had any of these for eons. This is ...
I swallow. I can't even think the word.
“A woman,” I whisper, not sure if my voice can carry that unusual word. But I must make sure.
Does the Prophecy not say that we must not be fooled by those who would attempt to seem like women, but are not truly female?

YEAH I don't read transphobic books... no, no thank you very much! 😑
And I don't know why nobody is talking about this in the reviews, I don't get it!
Consequently I'm writing this review for everyone to know what kind of book you getting in to it!
TERF Alert!

I call this series the store brand Ruby Dixon. Same basic premise as a lot of SFR--girls get abducted by aliens and stranded on a weird planet.

I liked the friendships between the girls. I loved that they were allowed to be smart, but still out of their depth. They were, however, not super distinguishable from each other. Except for Sophia's attempts at being the genre savvy one. She wants to be the plucky, cheerful girl, not the group leader.

The romance was... meh. I couldn't get over Jax'zan as a viable hero name. He was nice enough, but Sophia was the first woman he'd seen, so he fell for her... which left me wondering if he would have reacted that way to any of the girls because of their gender.

There's interesting stuff in the world-building, and I'm down to read more in the series. They won't change your life, but they're a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Pretty good Mars needs women theme. Not completely unique, but still pretty entertaining. Hero was pretty great. He was a bit of a pushover at one point, but ended up doing the right thing. Heroine did not drive me nuts. So that was a bonus!

Is this book just a little ridiculous - yes it is - is it super cheesy - also yes.

Did I skip the sex scenes quite a bit as there are only so many times you can read the terms "slit" and "juicy" and not bring up your christmas dinner! BIG YES!

However I am really in an alien romance mood at the mo and there are only so many times you can re read IPB . I liked the story, liked the hero so I'll carry on despite the author's apparent need to make sure we know it is an alien planet with alien creatures that are oh so ridiculously alien that they have wheels or heads at the back or whatever.

Interesting.

Sophia and the other girls that she works with are taken by aliens as well as many, many other women. This is a story similar to other alien stories that Calista Skye has wrote, however this time they get dropped off on a planet that is similar to the Jurassic period on Earth. Sophia and her friends are the only women who survive their first day. When Sophia meets Jax'zan she has almost drowned and he helps her out of the sacred water. He is a chief and all the women were taken a long time ago and they have a Prophecy that the Mother will come. Sophia is that Mother. Its very interesting. Especially their manly parts ; )

This is the first book in this series I have read and I want the next one if this is anything to go by. I started it and was late for going out with friends as once I started it I did not want to put it down! This series looks like it will be dealing with six women who where kidnapped from Earth and their captures dumped them on a hostile planet with prehistoric like creatures and cavemen Aliens. This book is Sophie and Jax'on's story. I recieved a ARC copy and am voluntarily reviewing it

I read this in one sitting.

Well, it seems I've found another unputdownable sci-fi romance. This one followed Sophia, a linguist stolen from Earth along with her colleagues. They'd been working on a language translator. Said translator becomes important to the story when Sophia meets Jax'san the hero, after she and her coworkers get dropped off on a planet right out of the Stone Age. I liked Jax'san a lot. He was very strong, protective, and sweet. She tried to do what was best for her friends. The two had some pretty good chemistry.

This book was interesting, because according to Jax'san's tribe, Sophia was the mother of the planet, which basically meant she was a holy figure. There were no women on the planet, so that added an interesting element. Then, there was the fact that the planet had dinosaurs. Lots of action, steam, and friendship all combined to make this book one I highly recommend to sci-fi romance readers.

3.5 stars!

I really enjoyed this book more than I expected. The story was a bit farcical and silly at times but all in good fun. What else do you expect from a caveman alien romance but ludicrous situations, some adventure, scorching passion, a hot alpha male and extra helping of romance and this book had that and than some. I especially like the friendship between the abducted ladies and how the author's cheeky reference about the usually female stereotypes found in groups of ladies kidnapped from earth and then quickly subverting these expectations getting too serious about the subject. I loved that! I can't wait to read more about the other girls and who they'll pair up within and who those alien kidnapers are. This was a promising beginning to a new series with enough space to grow and improve.

I received this book with the understanding I can leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Sophia she is a graduate student in a university that is helping the professor with a translation program. Unfortunately for her she has a work ethic unlike any other an pushes the others to work with her. So one night while working late they all get the surprise of a lifetime they are abducted by aliens. Things go from bad to worse then because when they try and escape they are left with one woman down and no where for them to go. They are then dropped on a planet where though it seems like earth it would be the earth of old. Can Sophia find a way to get her friends/co-workers home or will this be their new reality?

This book really shows us that we all have hidden talents and really need to give ourselves a chance to explore them. This book has quite a few twists that I really want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

A whole bunch of women are kidnapped by aliens. However, the aliens who abducted them never take them wherever it is they're going before crash landing. On the positive sides, all the aliens that abducted them have gone. On the negative side, the planet they've crashed landed have alien versions of dinosaurs and has left them no means of getting back home. On the other plus side the planet does seems to have some very friendly, and gorgeous, caveman aliens that seem willing to help them.

So I read the first three books in this series in rapid succession and although I enjoyed them (obviously as I read all three of them pretty damn quick!) they were all followed the same basic pattern. Which, is why I am reviewing them all at the same time as I feel the same about each book.

The first three books are:

1. Caveman Alien's Ransom
2. Caveman Alien's Mate
3. Caveman Alien's Rage

In each book, each woman gets rescued and then kidnapped by her caveman alien, who look similar to humans only are bigger and have stripes like a tiger. The caveman alien keeps her safe and they fall in love. Of course, in each book there are different and interesting nuances to each tale, but that's the bare bones.

I like the idea of this Jurassic Park alien world, it's kind of ridiculous, but a lot of fun and I enjoyed reading the romance between each woman and her very eager to please caveman alien. For a pre-historic people that had no women they were very civilised. So, if you want a fun and sexy alien romance, give these a try they are short but sweet.

For adult readers due to sexual content
I didn't care for this one. Alien Cavemen sounded awesome! Then I started reading this book and I just could get into it. I didn't find the characters likeable, or interesting. The story itself, I thought lacked purpose and there was a possibly for some real world building that was completely passed by.
I liked the concept, but not the execution.

Bueno...

I really ejoyed the authors take on an alien romance story, but it read too familiar to me. Not that that is a bad thing, because she did take her own original spin and all. I kind of only liked Sophia. Eager to read the next book though, so that counts for something!
