Being personal wizard to a multinational CEO isn't all fun and games. When Colin's not busy with assassins and his own inner demons, there's amnesia potions and odd jobs like hunting down a serial criminal or two.

To add to it, things between Colin and his demon-blooded girlfriend Veruca have been a little unstable since last winter's freak blizzard. It doesn't make the

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book would appeal to fans of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files or Simon R. Green's Nightside series. Modern wizard and dramatic adventures abound.

I was so impressed with the first book, I was afraid to read the second for fear it wouldn’t live up to the greatness of the first one. I needn’t have worried. Two Wizard Roulette was a non-stop, action-packed thrill-ride as good as its predecessor, Frostbite. Unique is the best way to describe Mr. Bader’s most recent novel in the Modern Knights series.

Better than most

Second book in the series, good enough that I actually bought it, pretty much only read kindle unlimited these days as there's enough to choose from that selection that I rarely pick up anything else. Looking forward to the next one.

This is a pretty interesting urban fantasy, developing rather well, in this second of the trilogy. It has a nice cliff-hanger ending, setting up the last volume.

Delivery boy, psychologist, retired vagabond wizard, and father of three. I read and write all manner of speculative fiction, but have an especially deep love of urban fantasy.
