As a redheaded librarian, I'd really like to get into Batgirl but find the volume of works daunting. I thought this little leveled reader might be a nice little foray, but there wasn't much to it.
Batgirl retraces her steps to find the birthday gift for her father that fell out of her utility belt pouch.
Great Batgirl adventure. I liked the setup of the story. In this one, Batgirl retraces her steps to find a present that she lost while she was fighting crime. The book is comprised of flashbacks and the main story set in the present tense. The flashbacks are presented in grayscale, making it easy to keep the stories straight.
Good illustrations and very entertaining story.
This is a I Can Read! level 2 book, recommended for reading with help. There are definitely a few tricky words is here such as "commissioner" so it is good for young readers to read with an adult.
Batgirl fought a number of villains and somehow lost the gift she got for her father's birthday. She retraces her adventures and found the gift in time to give it to her father.
Batgirl lost her present for her father's birthday while saving the day. My daughter and i loved seeing the adventures batgirl took us through to get to her fathers birthday dinner.
