In Living Without, Melissa and Dallas’s chemistry skyrocketed. It’s finally time to get up close and personal with this hot couple in their very own novella, Walkout. Get ready to discover what happens when Dallas chases Melissa all the way to Sydney to claim her back.

From her one visit to Melbourne and the Hawks MC compound, Melissa Stevenson knows Dallas is who she wants. There’re just a few problems with that: he’s a douche, a pain in the arse, and a stubborn, sexist pig. Still, it’s a whole heap of fun to tease her Viking man.

Relationship. Dallas Gan hates the word. As far as he’s concerned, women are nothing but a good time between the sheets. It’s only when the sassy Melissa shows up that he realises some women give as good as they get. Now she’s under his skin and he can’t seem to get her out.

Even with the warning from Dallas that once he claims her, he will come for her wherever she is, Melissa leaves. It’s now just a matter of time before he makes good on his promise.

Wading through lies and danger, Dallas has a decision to make. Is it easier to walkout on love and never look back, or will he give that dreaded “relationship” word a chance?

I'm so happy to be back in Hawks world. Love these guys and ladies. They always made my day.

Walkout may be a novella, but hell if it wasn't packed full of action. And pumping me full of emotion. Seriously, the most of the book I was so annoyed and pissed. I hate when adversaries has upper hand even just for a sec. Add theirs satisfied smirks and it just drives me crazy. I so want to made them to scream and bleed. And this Jimmy Vandick or whatever his name is. I don't care. I just want him out of the picture. Preferably beheaded and dickless. Yeah, he that much pissed me off. You will be the same, when you meet him and find out about his favouritism. Anyway, why the hell I'm talking about him so much, when he isn't worth it? Let's talk about Dallas.

I love Dallas. He's aggravating caveman biker, but you can't help but love him, because you know you're safe in his arms no matter what. Oh, and he's funny guy, too. The way he choked over the word 'relationship' every time was hilarious. Even now talking about it makes me to smile.

I just finished story and I'm already hungry for next one. It's always like this with Hawks. Probably, I will go and reread previous books to a little sooth my hunger.

Did a swift re-read of this to refresh my mind ready for reading Break Out Della&Handle's story!!!. That's on tomorrow's agenda.

..

I need more!!!!.

I love Melissa and Dallas 😍 the tiny spitfire and the caveman giant!. They are a match made in heaven.
Dallas absolutely melts my heart, all ruff around the edges but a total sweetheart in a badass caveman way to Melissa. The fact that he called her tiny, sighssss😍 how freaking adorable.
Melissa aka tiny is my perfect heroine. All fiesty, opinionated and fierce she's little pocket rocket. I love the loyalty she has to her friend, how protective she was. What she endured to protect Della is nothing short of heartbreaking and to be fair she's a total badass to come out of all that and not be broken and jaded.

Can I just say those bedroom scenes!. Holy moly Dallas pulled that out the bag. I need one of him like now!!. Chemistry was off the charts, the connection to the characters is there from the get go. The storyline is absolutely seamless and written to perfection. I love hearing from my love Julian 😍 and some previous characters as well as future couples e.g BEAST!!! I need his story like yesterday 😍! Please Lila 😱!!!

My only complaint is I wanted more!. But the book itself is fabulous just like all her other stories. She's definitely on my author stalk list.😂.

2.5 STARS

I am disappointed. I was expecting so much more from this book. We already had a glimpse of what Dallas and Melissa could be together and yet, nothing. I was curious to know more about what had happened between the two of them in Living Without but the writer didn't give any details. The storyline was done in two or three chapters when it could've lasted longer. Even the villain didn't have time to be a villain.

Ahh, the men of the Hawks MC-Caroline Springs Charter are back! Love them and this novella as well! We first met, Melissa in Living Without, when she assisted Julian (who has you in stitches laughing all the time, by the way and it continues in here when the interaction occurs with him and Dallas) to help find Nary. Melissa refers to Dallas as “The Viking Man” since he is hard to please you can say, stubborn and so much more, but it also makes it appealing. She knows just how to push his buttons. Dallas refers to Melissa as “Tiny” cause she may be small, but she gives crap right back to you. She is ferociously protective of those she cares for. It is hilarious when the “R word” comes out of Dallas mouth. He cannot say it without sputtering and wanting to cringe. He may have a hard time saying it, but he wants to claim her as his, but before she can do she that must return to Sydney.
In Sydney, Dallas is in for a shocker cause Melissa is stuck in a tough situation while trying to help out her friend Della. Oh my, the twists that are given here are good except for Jimmy and what he does. That is just sick and wrong! Can him and his boys take care of business and get his women to return home to him or will he Walkout and say the “R” is not worth it? Can I say that, I love Tate and glad he was a good guy!
The intense relationship between Viking Man and Tiny is intense as is their passion. This right here just shows you that two opposites are fit for each other. I would have loved to have seen Dallas’ face on his birthday, it had to be priceless!
There is not a book yet that doesn’t leave you yearning for more of these bad Hawk boys. Handles story is coming soon I hope, but I am excited for Beast’s story cause the silence is killing us!! While you can read each one as a standalone, this novella is best paired with Living Without.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

We met Melissa in the previous Hawks book and she and Dallas had this explosive chemistry. And this back and forth banter that Dallas was in awe of.

When she left to go back home, Dallas made her a promise that he would chase her down, and that is exactly what he did. But when he found her he was not prepared for what he found.
His Women was in trouble and she needed his help and that is what he was going to do.

Melissa left Melbourne and she didn't think she would see Dallas again, so she was surprised that he was here in her room. But maybe this is what she needed, maybe she can trust him and he can help her get out of this terrible situation she was in.

What I love about this author, is that you never know what you are going to read, every book is different and every story captures you from the beginning. This one was no different. Melissa was in a terrible situation and even if she didn't know it she needed the Hawks help.

You wont be sorry reading this Novella and all you will want at the end is MORE

Can't wait for the next one Lila, I need Della and Handler's book Please

This book was a disappointment for me. I was expecting and hoping that we would get to see Dallas and Melissa would be like when they finally got together, except I got nothing of substance. There was a mystery surrounding Melissa and why she now had a ring on her finger, etc. but really there was not much to this book. Dallas claimed to be ready for a relationship and, yet, couldn't even say the word. Dominating someone in bed is not what I consider to be a loving gesture and, yet, that is what I was given to show me their true feelings? Not a fan of that at all. The whole Della issue was just plain glossed over too much. What that girl endured was something that should have been given a bit more depth and not just told in passing. Still had a lot of questions and unresolved issues at the end. Left me feeling like I only got part of a book and not a whole book. I have to give it 2.5 stars.

Dallas Gan is the epitome of the alpha male. He is rough, gruff and only thinks women are good for one thing. When Melissa Evans, Julian’s BFF, is enlisted to help find Nary in Living Without, Dallas is instantly on guard. Melissa is tiny, fiery, outspoken and will tell it like it is. She has Dallas pegged down instantly and gets on his nerves by calling him ‘Viking Man’.
Dallas has no idea how to handle a woman like Melissa, he uses the phrase ‘Tiny Woman’ when he addresses her just to get on her goat. Melissa loves to play with Dallas and knows just how to get under his skin. Their interactions are explosive and totally hilarious as Dallas’ frustrations build with Melissa.
Not knowing what else to do Dallas claims Melissa as his woman, and her response is she has to return to Sydney. Even the threat of Dallas following her to bring her back is not going to stop her.
What nobody knows is that Melissa has found herself in a lot of hot water trying to help out a friend. Caveman Dallas to the rescue!! Melissa is his woman and he will reign hell down on anyone who has hurt her.
Another awesome Hawks MC book. I know it was only a short read (seriously need more Dallas, that man is unbelievably HOTT) but it was so, so funny. The chemistry between Dallas and Melissa is off the charts and I just love their interactions they make me want to cry laughing sometimes. They could not be more opposite and yet that pull between them is so strong.
I don’t know how you do it Lila Rose but whatever it is do not stop ever. Living in anticipation of the next Hawks MC instalment. HAWK’S MC RULES!!

I enjoyed the dynamic Ms. Rose built between the two main characters, following through on the promise of the relationship for Dallas and Melissa that we'd been teased with in a previous book. Definitely follows the distinctive style she's crafted for her Hawks and Caroline Springs Charter series, brilliant humor is threaded throughout the story. Recommended reading. <3

When a man like Dallas Gan goes to claim a woman, chasing her because she’s worth the headache, the back talk, and the attitude, it’s probably in her best interest to just give into him and to succumb to his rough/mean demeanor and his arrogant assertiveness because as much as Dallas is NOT a one-woman man, for his Tiny woman, he’d gladly allow her to sneak her way inside of him, never letting her go, dealing with everything and everyone that comes with her and looking out for her despite the mixed messages that she seems to be sending and living.

Melissa Evans isn’t used to any man coming through for her, let alone someone like her Viking man, and while he’s definitely what she wants, she has a shitstorm to deal with first, but thankfully, due to Dallas’ caveman personality, he and his biker brothers can offer their assistance, so that when the situation is cleaned up, Dallas and Melissa can find a way to give each other what they want and need despite both of their track records with the opposite sex.

Dallas Gan is one brooding alpha male, and while he has no idea how Melissa pushed her way into his heart, he’s enjoying the ride, even though he has no idea what he’s doing or what a relationship (which is a difficult word for him to simply say) looks like. Melissa is everything he never knew he wanted and now that he’s found her, he sure as shit won’t stop until he’s claimed her body, her mind, and her heart.

Walkout is an action packed, steamy read that takes its characters as well as its readers on one hell of a ride; it’s made clear from the very beginning of Dallas and Melissa’s story that they are “It” for one another but getting to the point they can be together is what the plot line is all about, and while it’s usually the heroine resisting the alpha biker, refusing to give in and be his, this time around, there are extenuating circumstances that keep Dallas and Melissa apart and it’s up to them to play it smart and safe, which is easier said than done for a man like Dallas and his need for the tiny woman who owns him just as much as he owns her.

4.5 stars for -Walkout - a novella in the Hawks MC : Carolina Springs Charter. While this couple did meet in a different book you can technically read this as a stand-alone but both the original Hawks and the charter in Carolina Springs are in my opinion the best MC series out there. This book does deal with many difficult topics and reader discretion is advised. While this is a novella it is pretty lengthy at well over one hundred pages so you definitely get a "bang for your buck".
Melissa Evans came to Carolina Springs to help her closest friend Julian find a loved one with the use of her super-savvy sometimes less than legal computer skills. While in town she got to meet the Hawks and fell hard and fast for the one that's physically allergic to commitment. Melissa knew she was on borrowed time while helping out Julian and had to get back to her own sticky situation in Sydney. Having no choice Melissa leaves her Viking Man behind and heads back to her personal hell.
Dallas Gan can't even say the word relationship let alone declare himself as being a part of one but she got to him in ways no one ever had. Dallas warned her that when he claimed her it was a done deal but she still up and left town so he did the only logical thing he could do and flew to Sydney to bring her back to him. The only problem being is when Dallas got to Sydney and realized exactly what Melissa was a part of he had to call his brothers for assistance.
This book like all the others in the series was excellent - having just the right amount of laughs to balance out the drama / danger. The smoking hot chemistry between Dallas and Melissa was enough to set the sheets on fire too. Can't wait for the next addition in this series :)

I will forewarn you that I love this author and I love this series. Ms. Rose stayed true to her gifted writing by producing a beautiful addition to her Caroline Springs Series. MC books are some of my favorite and I love how this author creates characters that are full and interesting, living with a variety of situations and challenges. You don't need to read all the others in this series to enjoy this book but you would be missing out on not only wonderful stories but also getting a clearer picture of some of the awesome characters in this book. Dallas is this strong, intense, somewhat gruff character that trying to deal with the fact that he has intense feelings for Melissa. Melissa is this feisty, strong woman that is in a mess of trouble trying to do good and help her friend. Dallas is shocked to find out that Melissa is married but knows something is not right when she quickly returns to her home town. Dallas and some of his buddies follow to find out what is going on and get Melissa back. This book takes you on a bit of a wild ride. You get all the intensity that is true to this author and she doesn't disappoint with steaminess between Dallas and Melissa. It is soooo good and I think it is well worth your time. I can't wait for Beast's story.

As soon as I found out Lila Rose latest release was live I HAD to one click. No matter what the story, Lila always creates heroes that I want as my own. Lets not forget the hilarious moments, the danger and the sassiness. I liked Dallas and Melissa as a couple. Throughout the story their scenes together left me with a cheesy grin on my face. The chemistry between Dallas and Melissa was clear to see. I liked who protective Dallas was. He was determined to keep Melissa safe and made the moves to get his club brothers help. Dallas made sure to take down any threat that was hurting his woman.
I was in stitches of laughter at the house-hunting scene between Dallas and Julian.
My heart hurt for Della and what she had been through. I adored her friendship with Melissa. I cannot wait to hear her story at some point in the future.
I devoured this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I fell in love with not only the lead characters but also Della and Handle. My only disappointment was that this book wasn’t longer. I wanted more! Not only did I want more but I also was left wanting the next book now!
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

Walkout on love

While a short novella, it still packed a punch in the story. It is time for Dallas to get an ol’ ball and chain LOL. He figures out Melissa is the girl he could change for and decides to go get her and bring her home. What he finds when he goes to get her, might stop him in his tracks. However, everything is not what it seems and the Hawks MC will have their work cut out for them as they come together to keep one of their own safe.
Melissa is skilled and can do many crafty things with the computer. After helping Julian, she goes back to a nightmarish place to continue her fight. When things get bad, she is ready to die for what is right.
Dallas finds out what Melissa has been hiding. He stops at nothing to protect her and claim her as his own. He will call in all the favorite Hawks members to help him out. He even plays nice with Julian which had me rolling at times.
While this review is short, I really enjoyed the novella. Don’t want to spoil, so you will just have to grab it for yourself and read it. You can read this by itself, but I would recommend you check out all of the Hawks stories by Lila.

Review by: Melanie
(4 stars)

Melissa met Dallas when she went to help her bestie, Julian, and was introduced to the men of the Hawks MC. However, despite their attraction and him claiming her, she left, going back to Sydney. Not one to give up easily, Dallas has gone to Sydney to find his woman and bring her home. He discovers though that Melissa is in a tough situation and so he does what any biker would do... call in his brothers to take care of business and get his woman the hell out of there.

This was a fast paced, nice little novella. Everyone had their own little part to play (the interactions between Dallas and Julian were awesome) and this story was a good way to introduce what will probably be the next couple of books in this series, hopefully Beast’s and Handle’s. I give Walkout 4 stars.

Meh.
It was kind of boring. There was a bit of action at the begining but it was over in a blink of an eye then it was just chapter after chapter of them talking on the phone, Dallas looking at a house, then Melissa surprising him for his birthday in Melbourne for sex then it ended.
I don't know why, but the author decided we all forgot about Julian being Gay for the last 13 books he has been in (including his own). Every time he was mentioned, either Melissa said he was "over the top gay" pr Dallas just constantly said, "Gay guy, this gay guy, that" it was annoying and stupid. At this point, you don't need to eve point it out. We all know who he is.
Disappointed with Dallas thought the switch was too quick for him to be so soppy since again it's been a few books of him saying he can't stand women's emotions or want a relationship.
Def skip this one

Manda's 4 Star Review

I fell in love with the Hawks MC after reading the first book and have been falling more in love with each story. The writing is always funny and entertaining and the characters are hard not to love. This is one of my favorite series to re-read. Anytime I fall into a book rut I grab one of these. I was very excited to read this novella because the chemistry between Dallas and Melissa was too strong not to wonder about what would become of them. Such a good quick read that satisfies my curiosity and makes me love these characters all the more. I really hope we get so much more from these character because they really are amazing and I love their stories so much. Fantastic addition and I’m sure this one will make my re-read selection as well.

Book 4.5 Dallas and Melissa with her Viking Man and his Tiny Women 😂💜

https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2017...

This book was short but still was good, even though I was glad it was really short. Lol because I was ready for book 5. I wanted to know Beast story why he didn’t talk or anything. Also, I was glad that Dallas and his brothers murked the guy that Melissa was married to because I cannot stand a child molester or any person who is a pervert and want to harm women of any age. I am also Glad Dallas found Love in Melissa I wasn’t sure who Melissa was in his story when I was reading each description of the books in the series until I figured who she was in book 4 with Sax and Nary.

What an awesome short

It's been a while since we visited withe MC's in Ballrat. Dallas has come claim his woman who happens to be Julian's bestie. After he finds out she's married,me needs to find out why she lied and if the connection he felt with her was real or not.

Melody (Tiny) helped Julian when he needed her..now she needs help but doesn't know how she'll get out of her predicament.

This was a great short..the only thing I wish we had more of were sex between these two. Mew needed to see them together more.

If this had been a full book, we could have enjoyed updates on the club and what's been going on, but I loved this one anyway.

I love the Hawks so much. I love how they will help any one of their brothers or brothers' family friends.
In this book, we catch up with Dallas, who followed Melissa when she left at the end of the previous book. We find that Melissa has a secret life that Julian didn't know anything about. One that prevents her from returning to Melbourne where Dallas wants her.
I loved these two, especially Melissa's smartass comments and teasing of Dallas and Dallas coming to terms with the fact that he may just have to have a 'relationship' if he wants to keep Melissa in his life.
Can't wait for more Hawks.

The only complaint I have about this book is it was just too short!!! But, oh my, it was packed with another fantastic story from one of my very favorite authors!!!

Melissa is perfect for Dallas, strong enough that he won't walk all over her but willing to let him be in control in the bedroom! And Dallas is exactly what Melissa needs in her life. A man who isn't afraid to let his woman know just how much she means to him.

I am NEVER disappointed when I get to spend time with the men and women of the Hawks MC, and this book was just what I needed to satisfy my craving while I wait, impatiently, for Beast's story!!! Thank you, Lila Rose, for another enjoyable book!!!

Oh yeah baby!!!! Lila you've done it again. I got the chance to voluntarily read an ARC copy and as per usual with anything from this series, I did not move until I reached that very last page and I only moved to grab the tissues. Yes, I balled like a baby because I had to say goodbye way to quickly and now must wait for the next book. The chemistry and attraction between these two singes my fingertips, the secrets, action, danger add to the mix for a read that just can't be put down. Holy Hell, Lila I'm not sure I'll survive your next one, but Walkout is a great addition to an already addictive series.

When Dallas Gan met Melissa Evans at the Hawks MC he knew she was different from the other women he had been with. They were building something but than she ran and she is hiding something that Dallas intends to get to the bottom of.

This was a bit of a surprise, did not expect the twist that transpired in the story. Filled with characters that I want to learn more about. Melissa is sassy and a perfect match for alpha male Dallas, love her nickname for him. Another exceptional book from Lila Rose.

How I have missed the guys and gals from Hawks MC. This novella is full of MC action, suspense, drama and do not forget hot steamy scenes that involve a strong sexy alpha male. Dallas knows what he wants and what he wants is Melissa and nothing will stand in his way. He heads to Sydney to bring his girl back to Melbourne and nothing and no one will stand in his way, or will they. A Hawks MC book would not be the same if it didn't feature the one and only Julian. This maybe a quick read but it will leave you sated for all things Hawks MC related.

Melissa and Dallas' story

These two finally accept their feelings for each other but of course its never that easy , a tricky situation with violence and fear for Melissa and her friend Della, a rescue by the hawks boys and some hot sex , add in Julian (Melissa's BFF) and we have us a hawks novella. Lila draws you with her lovable characters, brings some old friends along and introduces some new ones. No doubt there is something in the wings for Della and a certain brother but I hope we see more of Tate at a later date.

Dallas aka Viking Man was going after his woman and was going to let nothing stand his way. He got a shock though once he tracked her down. There was things she didn't tell him.

Melissa aka Tiny Woman was in a situation that she was trying to get out of. There were more people involved then just her. She relies on Dallas and his friends to help when she thought she was alone.

Dallas made me giggle when he tried to say the word relationship and would stutter and/or gag. Funny stuff right there!

Loved it!

I really love this series and can't stop reading. I am for sure hooked on Lila Rose and her writing. Dallas with his rough demeanor has always been one of my favorites. Throw Melissa in the mix its perfect. She is a spitfire! I just love her quick whit and the way her and Dallas connect. This book has a lot of laughs but also a serious side to it. I can only recommend it.
This book does not have a cliffhanger but should be read in order to understand all characters involved.
